Environmental hazards are allowed, golden egg is not allowed. Basically this run has the same restrictions as the minimalist challenge but allowing grenades.

- No body armor: the body armor can negate the damage from some specific attacks.
- No damage: no damage will be taken. You will see on every chapter "Times Damaged: 0" as statistic.
- No saves: the entire run in a single segment with no retries.
- No accessories for Leon/Ashley (shown after the completed run).
- S+ rank : the game is completed under 5h 30min.
- PC version, 60 FPS, played with controller.

"Sing praise until my cup overflows!" (Osmund Saddler, 2023) - 4:48:04 😂 Memes of the run: - No random spinel drops before water hall (this had never happened before), so I had to manually buy the exclusive upgrade there without the ticket and made me change the entire spinel plan of the run. It didn't quite matter much though to be honest. - Bella Sisters and Ashley (1:19:06): with Ashley leaving the locker after it was broken (not sure what caused it, the Ganado mutating near it or the Bella sister charging?) - Mendez’s chase close call (1:23:08): bloom/camera shift moment causing her to get hit (I should have parried the hatchet throw though) and Ashley getting stunned by flashbang despite Leon telling her "close your eyes" lol. - Mendez phase 2: I was greedy to not reload the Red9 to save a few bullets (since I was going to sell it right after), Mendez was pushing me a little too much when trying to knife him. - Salazar: I got stuck on a wall (3:17:12) and was too late to run upstairs so he skipped one attack and made the fight not very clean. - Mutated Krauser: it was not clean because I didn't land enough headshots and messed some inputs. Highlights: - Cabin: managed to perfectly demonstrate the window knock down method (1:09:54) and was able to deal with a very unlucky first wave where the broken neck was not at the window. - Double Garradors (2:32:30): went just as planned. - Double El Gigante (2:50:03): I was able to demonstrate a couple of cool dodges that I had found long time ago (2:50:31 and 2:50:53). - Krauser's knife fight (3:02:22): very well played and went pretty quickly due to critical hits. - Krauser 2 and 3 fights (4:07:38 and 4:11:35): they both went entirely as planned. Great run! You have handled all situations masterfully. Have you thought about doing a run completing the game 100%? By this I mean completing all the merchant's request, getting all the treasures, all shooting ranges (if you want), with or without using charms, etc.
I plan on doing one but i usually leave it for last once I learn the game better so I can decide what I want to showcase in a full experience.

I've cleared this game three times (1x Hardcore, 2x Professional); tell you what, I already burned out on the four runs (I didn't finish it when I reached the mid part of the game). For you to clear this game with such restriction is mind-blowing. The real question is, are you going to do another run with more restricted rules?
I think the minimalist trophy/achievement should allow you to also use grenades! (Not complaining, I did do the minimalist challenge on professional and I’m proud of it) but idk I feel grenades would make it a little more fun.. great video! You inspire me!
Finally someone perfect at this game on console! I was watching all these masterful playthroughs and come to find out they were on PC. I need hope that some console player could be that good and here you go arrive on my feed 😂
This run was done on PC but using a controller. Although I also play the game on PS5 and most of the strats work the same way.

Meanwhile, I've only just managed to best the game on Standard. And struggled with the Ramon boss a fuck ton.
I love this game. I had a feeling that it would be the same as the original with Ada taking the sample. I wouldn't trust her from the start. It's no wonder Annette shot her in Resident Evil 2. In the original, when Leon picked up the sample, he gets held at gunpoint and in the remake, he didn't get the chance to pick it up.

Lol the fact you did this is insane. Imagine dying at the jetski
surprised you didnt use the sg09 with its exclusive + laser sight. It can definitely help with more consistent stagger on enemies along with potentially speeding up boss fights due to crits provided you have rng's blessing. Great run tho 👍
The DPS of the Blacktail is way better. The SG-09 is pretty weak in comparison, even though it is good for staggers indeed, but you want to have a weapon to quickly kill the enemies to control the encounters better. The only pistol with better DPS than the Blacktail is the Matilda with the stock but it eats a lot of ammo so it should be reserved for key moments in the run. Red9 is the strongest and makes every bullet count the most but it has lower DPS than the Blacktail.
@@Aether2125I have to admit: using the weapon ticket to get that 1.5x dmg on the Blacktail was one of the most blissful moments of all my runs.. lol

Aether I have a question ❓ I've been routing this game for a month and, I'm not sure why my strategies aren't being consistent. I've watched your runs any advice I did what you said I'm not sure how to find my playstyle could you maybe take a look at my gameplay and see what I'm doing wrong? Phenomenal run
You’d have to be specific and ask about particular sections and which part is not working for you.
@@Aether2125 del Lago One Cycle and chapters 2,4,9,10 so, for instance the village area, cabin water hall,castle pluggas knights section krauser fight, generators section grabbing the key 🗝️ for Ashley; having issues on how to stun granados and take them out. Verugo boss in the sewer and Ashley not getting put at risk.
How do you throw the harpoon spears so fast?? I’ve seen other people do it and I can’t figure it out

Do you find this Minimalist challenge with the the inclusion of grenades easier than just using handguns and knives?
Yes, this is a lot easier (and more properly balanced imo) than the Minimalist challenge. It doesn't affect the boss fights by much (the major difference would be Saddler), but it makes a lot of encounters smoother and allows you to maintain a better ammo situation.

@@RaiN-wp7wv Discovered by chance when testing things. It’s not specific to a knife stab. Any leg hit after they are set up will result in that stagger. Similarly, a head shot will give you a guaranteed stun.

@@RaiN-wp7wv you mean the first brute with the hammer in the farm? I found out recently that the same technique works on them but it requires different stun values. When he hits the trip wire it sets him up for a stagger in the next hit.
