  • With being on the topic of aggressive calling. I have wanted to ask Corey for years a question regarding the Estrus scream/Buzz. I always hear him use it on the youth hunts but never on regular episodes?

  • This was a great podcast! Ooofff... Calling..?? I'm losing a lot of confidence in it. I'm well on my way of being "average" at the very most. I'm on year 6 of elk hunting and still haven't killed an elk. I've done those 10+ mile days and I still haven't found an elk willing to talk between 8:30 am and 7 pm. I hunt CO on pressured public land and my only more of transportation is my two legs. ATV's and horses aren't sn option. I do call in the dark and try and locate a bull. It's amazing how many guys I see having no concept of "playing the wind" and thermals. I'd shoot a cow if I could and in September I know the bulls won't be far away from the cows. I don't know... I'll keep trying. At the very least I'm not at work. LoL!!
