Think this is such a beautifully written thought. However, for me personally, I've come to find Gatsby's love to be ultimately a bad thing. Mainly because he is entombed to the past to pin for a woman he built up into an epic in his mind from just a mere happenstance meeting with Dasiy; who I argue isn't even all that great of a person character-wise when stepping back and judged outside of Gatsby's infatuations with her. That's why to me the true biggest meaning and symbolism that the Great Gatsby represents is the dangers of idealism and letting nostalgia chain one too much to the past.

The dream of love never measures to the reality --both in true and unrequited. The golden girl with a voice full of money will never come down from her pedestal towards the common man, and he is spared the ultimate heartbreak with unjust death. Gatsby was dreaming with his last breath, and his hope was bigger than his life.
But you see, Gatsby's dream to repeat the past was already behind him
@@River-Ocean And for a woman to live up to a fantasy that he had created.
We can have the fantasy we create. Both parties need to be open to it. There are no limits to our short time here on earth. The limits you see are imaginary.

This song makes me feel like I passed into the astral world and I am seeing a loved one from a past life I lived along time ago in a completely different existence, and as we come to the end of our time for our solar system and it becomes engulfed in a pull of a black hole we don't worry cause our souls exist forever as the universe is just a big cycle.

I was listening to "Together" by The XX from the Gatsby Soundtrack in my car, and this song is on after it, and I instantly fell in love with it. I was missing out for a year before I found it. It's one of my favorite songs right now, especially the last minute and a half.
I barely started listening to Together a couple months ago by accident lol. Prior to that I would listem to 100$ Bill and Young and

Это потрясающе! Невероятно! Не могу передать все эмоции, слов не хватит. Я просто в раю от прослушивания этого трека. Мурашки, дрожь по телу, эйфория. Люблю!❤ (2022 год).
Feels so futuristic and eerie. Almost out of this world. When I listen to it, at around 3:00, I feel like my soul is trying to vibrate out from every inch of my body. Very, very powerful song.
You are obviously high because I felt the exact same thing and I'm really high.
Nope, I was not high lol.
We are in the future.

Stoners are so annoying lol we can enjoy this for what it is completely sober
That amazing sound is so ethereal. Like it is something you can't even imagine hearing on this planet.
Take me back to these blissful times when it it was easy to fall asleep and memories didn't hurt.
People have said it before, and I'll say it again.. This song is beyond amazing. Shivers run all through my body.. The vocals and the synergy they have with that astounding music. oh my god. I want to see Nero live again! The only time I have was at Future music in Sydney, 2015. Blew me away!
2021: Yes, we’re still listening to this masterpiece. Edit: 2022: Yes. Edit 2, 2023: Yes. Edit 3, 2024: Yes.

This song... makes me wanna cry myself to sleep. Its such a beautiful song. But very emotional as well.
literally crying over this song. O.M.G. chills.
I like it
Me too, every time.
Same here
Its a beautiful but very sad song... "but in the darkness i will follow you"
I just discovered this song now and fell in love with it. Music sure is timeless.
This is the kinda music that will guide adventurers on their quests 1000 years from now.
This and departure lol
Nero's track are amazing. Innocence, Me and You, Feel So Close Remix, the list doesn't end. But this song. This song cannot be topped. The amount of emotion is incredible, the way the chords swell into the next phrase is perfect. The echo of the drums and violas gives the song a feeling of no end. It's like I'm at a orchestra concert. Indescribably beautiful.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly INTO THE PAST
RIP Gatsby
?????
DFB_Pics Thanks for the spoiler.
zweihand how come you reply to his spoiler?
Abradolf Lincler How come he spoiled it? Also, Spike dies, James killed Mary and brainwashed himself to believe she died of a disease, and Vader is Luke's father.
zweihand bitch.
One of my favorite songs of all time. So epic, so perfected. ♥
Is this gonna be our end? I can feel the light Somewhere in the darkness I'll follow you I'll follow you I saw the sign of rust And I read your name Heard it fade into the past where I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow I'll follow He'll show me the way there I can see the light But in the darkness I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow you
Thank you!

This is an incredible track. Yes I am a little late to the party, but my wife just screamed at me, because of this track, and got me to listen to it. WOW it really moves your soul.
Your wife has really good taste in music, glad you were able to be blessed with this beautiful track.
This song is translucent, ephemeral, soft, beautiful.

Crazy to think that this track is 10 years old already... I remember when it first came out, I was a senior in High school and was dumbfounded by how beautiful this track is..
It feels like a song you would hear in a dream. A song that makes you think of your ancestors, and the friends that have left this world too young. A song that moves your soul.
What touches my heart the most every time i listen to the Gatsby soundtrack is the shrill sound of green light. It just brings me back to the scene of Gatsby reaching out his hand at the dock...
one of the many reasons why i love both the soundtrack and this movie
This is something else.....

This has got to be one of the best dub step songs I have ever heard. It is simply amazing! I love is so much! It takes me away to a far away place in my mind that is beautiful. Just listen and be transported to a world of dreams…..
Greatest song on the soundtrack for sure...
Breath taking
Thank god I listened to the soundtrack when it came out. I wasn’t one to listen to soundtracks or albums but I remember after watching the movie that it had been the first time I had ever loved all the songs that were included and decided to take a chance! This is the best song out of the entire soundtrack.

Есть конечно треки и хорошие и потрясающие, а есть "Nero - Into The Past"... next level music

This song already gets me emotional and when I saw The Great Gatsby in theaters it made Gatsby's death even more emotional for me than it would have been without it. Absolutely an amazing track.
I remember liking this video at 20k views when the movie came out lols. Holy shit.
this song seriously cleans out my ears. it's so ....lush
'Gatsby', great novel, good film, enchanting music~Thank you Nero, I love this one especially!

I feel that no matter how much I favourite this song, add it to playlists or like it I cannot express how much I'm obsessed with it. Must find other ways to show love.
It makes me literally cry I love this.
This didn't play in the film. What played was the orchestral version "Gatsby's Death and Portico."
Okechukwu A. It is a beautiful sound
You are an angel
Its the same chords in a jazz-y version in "Overture and Sanitarium" if you listen closely
The chord at 1:30 played during his death
you are now in A STATE OF TRANCE

I do believe that Nero played the role of Ewing Klipspringer the pipe organ player in The Great Gatsby, I noticed this when he played trap music on the pipe organ. Only Nero is capable of such great feats.

This song makes me emotional because there are so many people and things that come to my mind when I hear it..
Magical ! I follow in the echo and im mezmorized when she strech the word yooouuu. Your in a trance state by then. And the beat..wow. with the orchestra sound. Out of this world. Need more music like this, that can really draw you in. A treat for the ears for sure!
To be listened to at midnight, in the pitch dark, on some beats headphones.......awwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhh.........
Lol Beats belong in the trash

When I hear this song, it instantly makes me think of a delusional, infatuated/obsessed mental patient. The lyrics "I'll follow you... I'll find you." paired with sudden breaks in the song (perfect for discordant, jerky movements often seen in crazy people), breaths as she composes herself, and smooth passionate mantras make for an amazing choreography that I hope to see come to life one day.
A beautiful, moving track--unforgettable to me.
EPIC, that rush it gives you when it hits the chorus....
I'm listening this song from 2015 till now everyday. I get goosebumps every time I listen. This is my first comment almost after 10 years.

SUCH A GOOD SONG! GOOD ON YOUR NERO FOR MAKING THIS!
This is a lovely melody.
This is such a epic piece of music. I love it though ❤️
Amazing!!!
Absolutely love the song. Her vocal range is just phenomenal when she shifts into the high note of the chorus (youuUUUuuUuuUuU)....and yes the song just takes me away on an amazing journey that I cant really describe. But it's like feeling intense love, at the same time missing someone I don't know, and being transported into some place in the not top distant future cyberpunk ish.
another amazing one from nero! this song leaves me breathless
this song gives me goosebumps wow
