This level of chain wrestling at 7:49 was unbelievable, from the sweep to get to Arman’s left leg to attempt to drag him down was crazy and Arman stopping it with his strength was amazing as well. The level of grappling exchanges was anything short of stunning and it’s so obvious why both of these men are avoided fighters.

His single leg and transition to running the pipe was very high level. He runs it so fast, Arman couldn't reverse it. Single legs like these usually aren't that successful at taking down people, it's very hard to pull off on a good wrestler like Arman.

Sim mano. Mas em compensação o jiu-jitsu é bem ruim, de ambos. Por isso eles se arriscaram. Com o Charles por exemplo eles nem tentam grudar nas pernas, pegar o pescoço senão ficariam na Figueira. E Foi oq aconteceu nas duas lutas. Eu achei q a luta entre os dois seria chata e pura agarração, mas por terem o mesmo físico e estilo de luta até q não.

Hoje o jiu-jitsu nogi está em várias lutas como wrestling e sambo, quem é especialista em jiu-jitsu hoje em dia não tem arrumado muita coisa no mma, exemplo: Demian Maia, Jacaré e Durinho que são campeões mundiais e nunca conseguiram pegar os tops usando jiu-jitsu.

It may look like Islam "barely" won this fight, but actually Islam ruled fight's pace, wich ended up with Arman looking for the clock the entire last minute of the fight, completly tired of defending Islam's pressure for three rounds. I believe that in a 5 round championship fight Islam would end up taking Arman into deep waters finally. Kudos to Arman for his strength and technique, great fighter too!

Ive been an islam fan right from the start and never heard of Arman when this fight came about, but after I watched it I knew that the Arman has a chance at that light weight strap sometime in the future. He just needs to keep improving. The level of wrestling he displayed with Islam already shows he is better then many at the top level of the division.

Very impressive at 3:10 by Arman. You can see him baiting Islam by keeping his head in a kneeable position and once Islam goes for the knee Arman immedietly goes for the take. down. Only problem is Islam is almost impossible to take down no matter what you do lol. I do think the innevitable rematch will be a lot closer than people think.

I believe after watching Armen fight in the UFC he beats, Gaethje, Chandler, Tony, Dustin. This kid has the potential and raw talent to run the lightweight division within 18 months. I think Armen is the most exciting new contender in the past few years.

Ambos tem o mesmo jeito de luta, são novos, fortes e resistentes. Da sim pra acreditar em uma vitória do Tsurakyan, pois o mesma tem o mesmo estilo de luta igual ao dele. Até hoje o Tsurakyan foi o adversário mais difícil que o Mackachev enfrentou, ou seja, que deu mais trabalho e não deixou o Islam trabalhar aquele jogo dele. Mas vou torcer tambem para o Tsurakyan ganhar do Islam, esses mulçumanos se acham invencíveis, uma hora tem que perder, aliás o Islam já foi nocauteado por um brasileiro.

Islam é o wrestling do peso leve pra baixo. Nunca pegou um dos meios médio, tem medo né, caras mais altos e mais pesados que ele. Tsurakyan tbm é outro que é melhor do peso dele pra baixo. Islam defendeu o título 2x contra o mesmo cara que tem 10cm a menos que ele, na 1ª luta ganhou na decisão, o baixinho deu um sufoco nele, na segunda nocauteou, mas quero ver se a perna dele vai ter a mesma força e eficiência nos meio médios ou até nos leves com lutadores da altura dele pra mais. Não tem. Islam é bom sim, eu assumo, não vou ser hipócrita, mas quero ver ele defendendo mais o cinturão contra lutadores da categoria dele ou quero ver se ele é tão corajoso assim de subir para os 77kg e encarar um de lá, pois são maiores e quem sabe mais pesado. Contra o baixinho Volkanovinsk é "fácil". O baixinho teve coragem de subir e enfrenta-lo 2x. E o Islam tem coragem de pegar alguem mais pesodo e mais alto uns 10cm ? Será. @@canalufcfight

After watching film on Mahkachev,his lead leg is stronger vs a takedown but I remember in one of AKA's training clip, that going for Mahkachev's right leg a fighter has a higher chance of a takedown. Oliveira is taking Mahkachev's head back to Brazil if he leaves his neck out.

Mesmo perdendo, Tú vê q o nível de jiu-jitsu do Charles e tão surreal q nessa luta e em diversas lutas do makachev e do Arman q eles sempre se "põe em risco" grudando nas pernas, dando as costas e o pescoço. Arman was out wrestling Islam the whole fight. Cardio became the issue as the fight went on. Islam is overconfident and Charles will make him pay for it

Islam did pretty good in this fight, but his improvement between this one and the fight against Oliver’s is insane, he’s so much better now then he was then

This level of chain wrestling at 7:49 was unbelievable, from the sweep to get to Arman’s left leg to attempt to drag him down was crazy and Arman stopping it with his strength was amazing as well. The level of grappling exchanges was anything short of stunning and it’s so obvious why both of these men are avoided fighters.
Yeah man, I was thinking the same thing. The amount of training and repetitions to reach that level. Is not the same doing it to some guy at your gym than to another high level wrestler.
His single leg and transition to running the pipe was very high level. He runs it so fast, Arman couldn't reverse it. Single legs like these usually aren't that successful at taking down people, it's very hard to pull off on a good wrestler like Arman.

Você vê que o nível de grappling do Tsarukyuan é altíssimo, porém o Makhachev nessa época já se encontrava em um nível de perfeição na área.
Sim mano. Mas em compensação o jiu-jitsu é bem ruim, de ambos. Por isso eles se arriscaram. Com o Charles por exemplo eles nem tentam grudar nas pernas, pegar o pescoço senão ficariam na Figueira. E Foi oq aconteceu nas duas lutas. Eu achei q a luta entre os dois seria chata e pura agarração, mas por terem o mesmo físico e estilo de luta até q não.
@@ibracadabra6850 bem ruim exagerou, eles tem um jiu-jitsu execelente na questão defensiva, até porque jiu jitsu ofensivo no mma só serve contra quem é péssimo de jiu-jitsu. Hoje o jiu-jitsu nogi está em várias lutas como wrestling e sambo, quem é especialista em jiu-jitsu hoje em dia não tem arrumado muita coisa no mma, exemplo: Demian Maia, Jacaré e Durinho que são campeões mundiais e nunca conseguiram pegar os tops usando jiu-jitsu.

It may look like Islam "barely" won this fight, but actually Islam ruled fight's pace, wich ended up with Arman looking for the clock the entire last minute of the fight, completly tired of defending Islam's pressure for three rounds. I believe that in a 5 round championship fight Islam would end up taking Arman into deep waters finally. Kudos to Arman for his strength and technique, great fighter too!

Ive been an islam fan right from the start and never heard of Arman when this fight came about, but after I watched it I knew that the Arman has a chance at that light weight strap sometime in the future. He just needs to keep improving. The level of wrestling he displayed with Islam already shows he is better then many at the top level of the division.

Very impressive at 3:10 by Arman. You can see him baiting Islam by keeping his head in a kneeable position and once Islam goes for the knee Arman immedietly goes for the take. down. Only problem is Islam is almost impossible to take down no matter what you do lol. I do think the innevitable rematch will be a lot closer than people think.

I believe after watching Armen fight in the UFC he beats, Gaethje, Chandler, Tony, Dustin. This kid has the potential and raw talent to run the lightweight division within 18 months. I think Armen is the most exciting new contender in the past few years.

eu vou torcer pro Arman tsarukyan na próxima ele vence o islan makhachev o cara e bom.
Ambos tem o mesmo jeito de luta, são novos, fortes e resistentes. Da sim pra acreditar em uma vitória do Tsurakyan, pois o mesma tem o mesmo estilo de luta igual ao dele. Até hoje o Tsurakyan foi o adversário mais difícil que o Mackachev enfrentou, ou seja, que deu mais trabalho e não deixou o Islam trabalhar aquele jogo dele. Mas vou torcer tambem para o Tsurakyan ganhar do Islam, esses mulçumanos se acham invencíveis, uma hora tem que perder, aliás o Islam já foi nocauteado por um brasileiro.

Islam é o wrestling do peso leve pra baixo. Nunca pegou um dos meios médio, tem medo né, caras mais altos e mais pesados que ele. Tsurakyan tbm é outro que é melhor do peso dele pra baixo. Islam defendeu o título 2x contra o mesmo cara que tem 10cm a menos que ele, na 1ª luta ganhou na decisão, o baixinho deu um sufoco nele, na segunda nocauteou, mas quero ver se a perna dele vai ter a mesma força e eficiência nos meio médios ou até nos leves com lutadores da altura dele pra mais. Não tem. Islam é bom sim, eu assumo, não vou ser hipócrita, mas quero ver ele defendendo mais o cinturão contra lutadores da categoria dele ou quero ver se ele é tão corajoso assim de subir para os 77kg e encarar um de lá, pois são maiores e quem sabe mais pesado. Contra o baixinho Volkanovinsk é "fácil". O baixinho teve coragem de subir e enfrenta-lo 2x. E o Islam tem coragem de pegar alguem mais pesodo e mais alto uns 10cm ? Será. @@canalufcfight

After watching film on Mahkachev,his lead leg is stronger vs a takedown but I remember in one of AKA's training clip, that going for Mahkachev's right leg a fighter has a higher chance of a takedown. Oliveira is taking Mahkachev's head back to Brazil if he leaves his neck out.
And after watching this, I think Islam is not going to out strike Oliveira and going to get knocked out in 2 🙋🏻♂️

Mesmo perdendo, Tú vê q o nível de jiu-jitsu do Charles e tão surreal q nessa luta e em diversas lutas do makachev e do Arman q eles sempre se "põe em risco" grudando nas pernas, dando as costas e o pescoço. Mas com o Charles em momento algum eles tentaram isso. Eles só quedaram quando o Charles puxou pra guarda ou pro clichê na grade e tomou aquele banda de judô.
