  • Seeing great whites up close is amazing. South Australia has some of the best diving experiences for ocean floor shark cage diving. We're also the only stay in Australia where great whites are 100% protected in our waters

When reviewing content you praise what you like and give context to your adjullations with a reference to content you find lacking. I consider Reality TV/Fake drama documentaries an insult to the industry and three of my documentary heroes. Carl Sagan , David Attenborough and Jacque Cousteau...

Not to mention judging others(case in point and a constant that you so-called Christians excel at)It doesn't get anymore "lowlife" than that. KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.

  • Very well done documentary, and Andy Casagrande once again has the most beautiful footage ever filmed on these great and majestic fish....I wonder who the star of the film is? That is a good sized male shark seen in all the footage filmed from the cage (I assume in South Africa since the water is so blue) and he is most likely tagged and well known.

    • I’m a huge fan of Andy casagrande’s. I’ve seen every documentary he’s been in or filmed with sharks. I’ve seen most of his under water documentaries. And anything he posts on his personal social media I have watched. I absolutely love Andy…. And most the guys from shark week.

      @heatherjohns1501@heatherjohns15015 күн бұрын
    • That being said I watch shark week because I love sharks. I know most of it is fake and I can’t stand all the attack shows the nat geowild plays during their 4 week shark feast. Anyways unless it has Andy in it I’ll take an actual educational documentary on sharks over dramatic made up shark shows or shark attack shows. All those do is further fuel the fear people have towards them. It doesn’t help teach people to love and respect these animals.

  • I wonder if the White Shark Nicole was born in Western Australia and returns there every 4-5 years for some reason. I'd love to be young again and be able to study these beautiful creatures on the water, and not from my computer.

    @jritechnology@jritechnology7 күн бұрын
    • Wouldn't that be a treat!

      @magellantv@magellantv6 күн бұрын
    • I was actually part of the research team that tagged Nicole back in 2003. This was a joint project between MCM (Marine and Coastal Management) from Cape Town, WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society), White Shark Trust (who I was working with) and a few others. It was an amazing experience, and getting the news maybe a year later that Nicole had travelled to Australia and back to S. Africa was incredible. That information was a huge deal at the time and lead to Great White Sharks being added to the CITES list for protection. Previously they didn't have full protection because there was an argument that they stayed in "local" populations, meaning they only required protection by the individual countries where they were found. Nicole really changed everything from a conservation point of view.

    • 18.30 - so much for climate change destroying the planet and created by us humans... 4 degrees warmer than today...6 times the CO2 content - the Arctic Ocean as warm as a tropical body of water! And we are told day after day that we have to do this and do that and therefore this will be more expensive and that will be more expensive... Unfortunately, too few people realize the lies that are probably behind climate change, which is nothing more than an excuse to take even more money out of people's pockets and keep the system running. This example is the best proof that the earth goes through natural cold and heat cycles and that climate change must be doubted. Especially when you see that it is being used to make everything more expensive.
