Bored or not - track art. People don't realize the full potential of using tracks as decoration; you can make trees, flowers, space stuff, abstract shapes... It's worth trying, yall! 😁

these days, i only use Semi-Solids for art. they can be used for ground decorations, backgrounds, platforms, and even troll levels.
Grayscale could be harder to do than inverted colors, since a few items could be harder to differ. I loved all the ideas in this video, though! Edit: Never mind. Inverted colors is absolutely bonkers.

What I do in my spare time is recreate levels from NSMB DS, since that was my childhood game.
Im actually in process of making a themed super world except each world is its own theme like world 1 is all platforms like lifts and seesaws. And the final level in each world will be all the mechanics of the previous levels put together and will feel very satisfying after you learnt all the mechanics from the previous levels

Whenever i got bored at SMM2, i do a few things: - Try to glitch hunting new bugs.. - Play the game on Black-White theme, with the Switch menu option. - Messing around with Story Mode levels, and try to find something broken... - Try to do an "Don't Touch an Coin" Challenge on a random level. - And more...
3:00 you could also collect exactly 100 or 200 coins, the coin counter will than be 0 again :)

Great Video, will definitely have to try some of the challenges. One that I’ve been doing recently that I thought I’d share is ignoring Nintendo’s easy life system and completing a full super world where if you run out of lives, you have to restart the run.

I love using shells as weapons in Multiplayer vs. I also heard a rumor that you can shoot people with cannonballs too.

These were some awesome suggestions. The color inverted thing is phenomenal and I’m amazed for the fact that I discovered it after over a year the game came out. For the VS challenge, if you’re talking about slowing down or going back just to kill people, well that’s toxic and it wouldn’t be very helpful for my pink S+ grind. For normal, the thing “if you die you skip” is kind of... too easy, I suggest doing a no death normal instead where if you die, the run is over. I do “if you die you skip” in expert or at least I used to do that since now I have a streak in expert and I don’t want to lose it. Anyways I saved this vid in my playlist, very helpful

11:05 In reply to #29, you could also make some "The Floor Is Cacophony" levels where you may replace the ground with alternating horizontal rows of pink note blocks with enemies and items inside of them, seperated by 1-2 rows of nothing so that enemies and items released from pink note blocks bounce on the pink note blocks below, and turn the volume up real loud. Whenever you touch such pink note blocks from above, an enemy or item is released and bounce around on (a) pink note blocks(s) below, thereby making cacophonus noise. :D

Arrowstotle: Things To Do When Your Bored! Nintendo: You Know We Could Use Another Developer...
If you decide to make a video about title screen levels, and remaking them in a certain way, then my level will probably be in there :D It has more enemies in and cool decoration. The first half is a title screen level, the second half is my own thing, like a continuation of the title screen levels. Here's the ID if you want to play it: SBG-2TB-99G Edit: I had to reupload the level due to a decoration error, and added more decoration. Arrowstotle my favorite ideas are the easy endless challenges like without a coin or die=skip
Arrowstotle: you cannot reach the end unless you have zero coins. Me: *grabs all the coins so I can get a 1up and have 0 zero coins and finish the level.*
Regarding the last point, I've been making a Legend of Zelda Super World where each World consists of four explorable environments courses, each with optional Shrines (16 per World), and ends in massive a Zelda dungeon. Levels in each World are based around the World's theme. (For example, World 1 is a forest theme, and every level in it is either in the forest theme or in the ground theme with lots of tree semi-solids. The dungeon itself is designed to be a massive tree.) I've only uploaded the first World so far.
I'm a very bad creator but I have a cool idea: Make each level a remake of a shrine from LoZ BotW. Or maybe it's a bad idea.

the on/off blocks look great when inverted
During Boredom Buster 2, if you are able to invert the colors on the device you are watching this on, invert them, and the colors will kind of invert, but it will make the colors darker. The most notable section in which this occurs is when Luigi is riding the Dry Bones Shell.

How to Recreate Mario Enemies/Items in Mario Maker 2 1. Huckit Crab - First, get a Rocky Wrench, and stack it on the bottom of a Spike Top with wings, then put them one block of space above a small Cannon, then you got yourself a Huckit Crab! 2. Ptooie - Get a Big Piranha Plant, stack it on a Goomba in the ground so it's off-centered, and get a track vertically 3 blocks high, and put a Twister atop a Cloud Block, that you put on the track going down, and get a Spikeball, put it above the Twister, and there you go!
