@@wawaw1194 In the USA's case, pro/rel is harder to implement. Travel is more expensive, and soccer isn't localized enough yet. But some areas are getting there. The franchise model is more stable for the MLS at the moment.

@@wawaw1194 there’s no promo/rel in any North American sport. We don’t have a league above MLS/NFL/NHL (equivalent to premier league) so winning the league title is far more important since we don’t have any champions league equivalent. Only step above the league is international, which they don’t do in American football cuz nobody else plays it lol.
Here's a short description on the team that can found on wiki: "They got off to a winning start in the league with a 3-0 victory over Eversley & California FC. On April 14, 2020, Manager George Busumbru stepped down, citing 'personal reasons'.[6] Scott Harris, former player & former assistant coach at Walton Casuals, replaced George. In 2021 the club were promoted to the Premier Division South based on their results in the abandoned 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. After six years away from the Isthmian League, a 1-0 victory over Raynes Park Vale on 9 April 2022 secured at least a second placed spot and back-to-back promotions.[8] The club returned to Step 4 for the first time since relegation in 15/16."

From a Walton and Hersham Fc follower 1971 to 1974 when Walton and Hersham were Best in England at top Amateur Level and stuffed Brian Cloughs Brighton and Hove Albion 4 v0 away in mid afternoon in midweek after 0 v0 at Stompond Lane.. and won FA Amateur Cup in 73 with out letting in a goal.. its good to see Walton and Hersham Fc on the up and up again.. properly this time at newer surroundings..Famous club I last saw play v Yeovil Town and won 3 v2 to get to FA CUP 1st round in 90s. So good to see them back to back promotions . Congratulations 🎊 and successful years hopefully continue.. 🏟🏐🏆🦢🦤.keep it going..

This has just popped up in my recommendations. Love that a group of young lads have taken the club over and are moving it forward. A neighbour when I was growing up was a regular at Stompond Lane way back when, and was there for the FA Amateur Cup Final in 69. I never went myself, but did go to watch Addlestone & Weybridge Town when I was 14/15, before their ground got sold for housing.

Ran a Sunday league team from aged 14 to open age for 18 years eventually packed it in as kids family became priority when your young and hungry its easy to do things welldone to boyz

Do not take this wrong but where are these young lads finding all the money from?
between the 7 of em, just running part time jobs will probably be enough to buy a club at that level. It's surprisingly cheap to maintain a club at that level. I know an owner of a 13th division club who said it took 30thousand a year to maintain. So i'm guessing it should be around maybe double that for the 10th? Which should still be very manageable for 7part owners if they are adults.

Well... In a bunch of countries where the football culture has some sort of self respect we have the 50+1 rule. The football clubs are owned by its members, for its members. I know kids who own their football clubs because they are members. Because it's not about some sort of ego-boost or personal goal to own a football club and effectively run it, rather because we're in this together for a collective goal, for the clubs greater. I'm so glad to live in a country where the 50+1 is a thing. I hope you guys realize that although this might look charming with a couple of young guys taking over a football club I personally find it tragic how that's become normal for you guys in the UK (and in a lot of countries) that a small group of guys can just take over like this and make it their thing
