CBell! I absolutely love this series and I am amazed by your dedication. I am so excited for the mod to come out so that I can use it too! I think something that will really help you with noticing nose control is doing a lot of 1s. I've never heard it put into words before but it really is the best way to say it. With 1s, you can really focus on how their car is oriented and be able to punish them when they aren't in the best position. I think it would really help you out, and also I just like 1s because I used to play so much of it. You should 100% do your 5 casual 1v1s every day when you can! I am so excited for the next episode!

Honestly, with how you were doing in episode 1, i was almost certain you weren’t ever making it to ssl. After this episode however, im almost certain you can make it. Especially with that double flip reset from across map at the end. It looked straight out of rlcs.

I'm glad this challenge is giving you a motivation to play and grind the game again. Just keep in mind to keep on updating the means by which you benchmark your progress - don't let the SSL MMR be your sole motivation or else you will burn out faster than you realize. Keep on eliminating one imperfection at a time as well as focus on getting better at things you think you are already good at. Don't let your motivation be so rank-centric. It's gonna be a very, very long journey - so if you really want to get there, make sure to make this series about the journey itself, not the destination :) GL
Really solid advice, I think you hit the nail on the coffin here. Like, it's already a very unrealistic goal - if you have 12000 hours in RL already and ur barely GC, the 'noob' gains are likely going away somewhat fast. Maybe if he improves his game sense dramatically, but I have a feeling that that will only get him so far.

I am diamond 2 and have really good mechanics like I mean dobule reset type stuff. I got to this same point as you where I wanted to just get better I new it was my game sense but before I really hated practicing game sense but your last Video motivated me so much I worked so hard on game sense then at one point game sense became so hard it was annoying for me to learn so I kinda gave up but back on the grind cas of you. Thxx

I used double tap playground for 100s of hours to help me get to GC. For me to get to GC2, when First Touch Practice came out, I put even more 100s of hours into it, and that helped me with fine tuning my plays and first touches
