I was born in a muslim family but i was never a true muslim until i was 33 years old.Even muslims by birth,out of mercy of Allah(SWT) have their own unique revert stories.

Assalamou 'Alaykoum I live in a country where we speak french. But I got the ability to speak and understand english. I were used to say my self this english skills are useless because I'm not using it at work and people of my country don't speak english at all. But since that first day I started watching all the Sir Nouman videos and all what Bayyinah produces, I fill like this were the reason why Allah facilitated the learning of English for me. I think only Allah knows how usefull your videos are for me I learned a lot form you and you also help me change many things on the way I see this world. You also helped me to strengthen my relationship with the Coran. May Allah reward you, and all the people you're working with, on this earth and hereafter. It was narrated from Mus’ab bin Sa’d that his father, Sa’d bin Abu Waqqas, said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which people are most severely tested?’ He said: ‘The Prophets, then the next best and the next best. A person is tested according to his religious commitment. If he is steadfast in his religious commitment, he will be tested more severely, and if he is frail in his religious commitment, his test will be according to his commitment. Best 2 hours I've spent in a long time! Te things I love about Udhtaz Nouman speeches: He communicates things in a simple, relevant, and humoristic way. His speeches soften our hearts because they connect us back to Allah, and they revive our feeling of self-worth as belivers. What I admire the most in that man is the way he embodies balance in Islam. Yes it is great to recite qur'an, but don't forget to go out in nature and reflect on its ayahs. It's great to learn deen, but don't forget your other responsibilities: parents, spouse, children, society...etc. MashaAllah brothr Nouman. MashaAllah. Salaam.

Allah sees all and his name is the All-Seeing. He is all mercy to all creation and his name is the Merciful. He says he will punish and torture criminals but the Punisher or the Torturer are not his names. He us the Avenger, though. So he will avenge any injustice done to anyone from anyone, because Allah is also the Just.
To my mind, NMK is one of the most important personalities of our time. When most people think personalities, they think of presidents, rock stars, "supposedly" well known people. Well guess way, these so called presidents and famous people are worth a dime to us when it comes to the matter of understanding our religion. NMK's focus on teaching the linguistic beauty of the Quran + the message of Quran is what distinguishes him from many others. I have a renewed appreciation and understanding of the Quran. May Allah guide him and continue to make him an asset to the Ummah.

It was narrated that Ibn Abbaas (radi Allaahu anhu) said: "When Jibreel (peace be upon him) was with the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ), he heard a sound from above like a door opening. Jibreel, peace be upon him, looked up toward the sky and said: 'This is a gate in Heaven that has been opened, but it was never opened before." He said: "An Angel came down from it and came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'Receive the glad tidings of two lights that have been given to you and were never given to any prophet before you: The Opening of the Book (Al-Faatihah) and the last verses of Surat Al-Baqarah. You will never recite a single letter of them but you will be granted it.'" -- Sunan an-Nasaa'i, Kitaabul Iftitaah, Hadeeth no. 912.

Can we muslims understand and appreciate the depth of the fact that Allah swt did us humankind a favor by sending us Quran for guidance? No matter how much you thank Him, it's never enough.
It makes me laugh in the first year I was soo happy to call myself Muslim because before converting I knew I was apart from the worst of people in the dark trying to find the light , , and now after finding Islam I knew I was on the right path that I’ve been searching for all my life and finally I can relax and just be, , and then the next year I learned about sunni and Shia and ahmadiyyah and “Quran only” and I was like,, lol ooook so I continued on the search, I continued to look for that truth and found it undoubtedly in the sunnah and then 2 years after that I learned about salafiyah and alhamdullilah I know it’s the truth. I just thought it was funny to share that how all these titles were confusing and difficult to understand my place but alhamdullilah I’m Muslim.
The word Islam is submission to the will of Allah! Part of it is also to submit yourself to the knowledge of Islam in your path of seeking knowledge. There is the right and there is wrong you will learn and ultimately reach the truth. Also know that the Prophet SAW has foretold us long before that this ummah will be split into 72 sects, that in itself is a firm evidence of the truth and the oneness of Allah which The Prophet SAW was striving all his life to show to us. Know that these are the end times and one who holds strong to the Quran and the Sunnah will alone be successful. May Allah bless us all with the Islam until the last breath. Aameen

Today is friday, my Imam in my friday prayer recited the ayah which contain "we hear and we obey.." I didnt know about the ayah, i was wondering what the ayah and wanted to find out which part of quran has the ayah.. I also didnt know what ayah Nouman talks in this video until i google it and turn out that was the ayah i was looking for.. Coincidence? Maybe, but for me Lord listen and answer me.. Make me easier to learn these ayah..

ءَامَنَ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَۚ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓٮِٕكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ أَحَدٍ۬ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦۚ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَاۖ غُفۡرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ (٢٨٥) لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡہَا مَا ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوۡ أَخۡطَأۡنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَآ إِصۡرً۬ا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهُ ۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦۖ وَٱعۡفُ عَنَّا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَآۚ أَنتَ مَوۡلَٮٰنَا فَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡڪَـٰفِرِينَ (٢٨٦) رسول نے مان لیا جو کچھ اس پر اس کے رب کی طرف سے اترا ہے اور مسلمانوں نے بھی مان لیا سب نے الله کو اور اس کے فرشتوں کو اور اس کی کتابوں کو اور اس کے رسولوں کو مان لیا ہے کہتے ہیں کہ ہم الله کے رسولوں کو ایک دوسرے سے الگ نہیں کرتے اور کہتے ہیں ہم نے سنا اور مان لیا اے ہمارے رب تیری بخشش چاہتے ہیں اور تیری ہی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے (۲۸۵) الله کسی کو اس کی طاقت کے سوا تکلیف نہیں دیتا نیکی کا فائدہ بھی اسی کو ہو گا اور برائی کی زد بھی اسی پر پڑے گی اے رب ہمارے! اگر ہم بھول جائیں یا غلطی کریں تو ہمیں نہ پکڑ اے رب ہمارے! اور ہم پر بھاری بوجھ نہ رکھ جیسا تو نے ہم سے پہلے لوگوں پر رکھا تھا اے رب ہمارے! اور ہم سے وہ بوجھ نہ اٹھوا جس کی ہمیں طاقت نہیں اور ہمیں معاف کر دے اور ہمیں بخش دے اور ہم پر رحم کر تو ہی ہمارا کارساز ہے کافروں کے مقابلہ میں تو ہماری مدد کر (۲۸۶) The Messenger has believed in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and the believers as well. All have believed in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers. “We make no division between any of His Messengers,” and they have said: “We have listened, and obeyed. Our Lord, (we seek) Your pardon! And to You is the return.” (285) Allah does not obligate anyone beyond his capacity. For him is what he has earned, and on him what he has incurred. “Our Lord, do not hold us accountable, if we forget or make a mistake, and, Our Lord, do not place on us such a burden as You have placed on those before us, and, Our Lord, do not make us bear a burden for which we have no strength. And pardon us, and grant us forgiveness, and have mercy on us. You are our Lord. So then help us against the disbelieving people.” (286)

An amazing experience I had with sura Al Bakara was while listening to it, I fell asleep. When i awoke, this verse, " to Allah we belong and unto him is our return " was playing 😊 can u imagine that feeling, I would imagine it would be the opposite, dozing off at this verse yet i awoke at this verse

Walahi, whenever I listen ustad Nouman, i hear different beautiful message of Islam, which makes me proud and happy to be Muslim. Sometimes the sheikhs in my community( somali community) not all of them but the ones I happened to listen are not so convincing, look exactly angry as u mentioned, and some of the stuff they’re talking about are rigid and hard to fathom. U go to the masjid happy and excited and came back from it feeling like headded to jahannam, deeds not accepted or In heartedly bad person. Thank u Ustad. Walahi i love u and met u in los Angels several years ago. However, I follow, listen and learn from you every time. You and sheikh Omar Suleiman are the the light of this young generation walahi, a lot of them go to the mosque coz they listen to you guys. I love you and may Allah give you and your family the guidance and protection in this life and hereafter.

Ur lecture made me cry alot my mother died 2 year ago but i still can't able to cope it with her depart n the worse thing u know what all my 4 sisters n two brother leave me they tired to console me i really i literally feel crave to talk to them but no one talk to me cuz im emotionally immature n unable to control my emotions I pray alot for sabar n courage plz pray for me

Only Allah knows how much I was going through. The people around me aren't really religious completely, so I felt awkward like they see me differently, behave differently, talk to me differently, ask me how can I clothe this way and stuff, or why won't I date,excluded me from plans even today.
