    • It's a side effect of the twist throttle. You accelerate and are being pulled backwards, but hanging on tighter tends to pull the throttle more, so it goes out of control. You have to do the un-intuitive action of relaxing your grip a bit and twisting forward to slow down.

    • It also matters a lot in how you establish your grip. If you grab the throttle with your wrist flat, its pretty much impossible to go out of control because it would break your grip.
