I think ALL of us who are parents who watched Coco felt a sense of pride and admiration. What a mature and beautiful young woman. Her parents did an outstanding job raising her.

I couldn’t have said it better. As a mother, you can see the way she carries herself, that she was (is) being raised, and not dragged up. Time and correction is not only put into her tennis. But also into her as a human and what that means to be a good person.
That's for responsible parents who take care of their kids like her dad and mom. The irresponsible dads (and moms) who abandon their kids should be guilty and ashamed of themselves. Let this be a motivation for such parants to reach out and restart before it becomes too late.

Yeah, I posted that unless a different coach comes in....she will never do well. Considering that in this tournament, she had the referi against E mertel . As well as protester never seen disrupt a tournament in years and rhythm of Muchova & Savalenka.
Ummm it wasnt his ego, first it was kinda finances and someone she could trust to why he was coaching her. Then when she got older snd better he searched around a coach for her. Tennis is not cheap and Pere didbnot have a lot of experience but she started getting comfortable around him. And finding BG kijda fell in their lap as he was giving pointers and offered to help
She’s a lesson for all of us and I think we all get it. Parenting counts! Personal integrity counts! Failure counts. Steadfastness counts. Gracefulness in victory counts. Knowing where your blessing comes from and being thankful (not angry) for the process COUNTS! In the midst of a loud, rude, disrespectful world, she brings the opposite!

This is why it’s so important for kids to have well adjusted parents in their lives. Coco has a wonderful family support structure and they’ve created not just a terrific tennis player but a beautiful and level headed young woman. Well done!

I remember 6 years ago when a good friend of mine told me about her and said the US has a tennis prodigy and I think they are going to try and build her as the face of women's tennis. That was when she was 13 and now here we are.
She is so sweet and humble. I've been cheering Coco on for years, so to see her dominate this summer and then when the US Open just had me crying with pride like she was my child. Congratulations COCO!!!!
But we now know she has some bite in her too the way she ripped the bark off of that umpire for failing to do her job. She said not today. Period.

One of the best things to happen to women’s tennis Coco has clearly dedicated for young life to the sport, humble well spoken & clearly been brought up with high morals a testament to her parents who probably sacrificed a lot over the years. With both Osaka and Radacanu returning it’s going to be a very interesting 2024 - don’t think Swiatek is going to dominate anymore with such a strong field
OSAKA is done. Raducanu is not good and obviously a one hit wonder. She's done nothing since the Fluke.
It would be nice to see Osaka fight back to the top. Swiatek is ALWAYS going to be a fighter. Dont count out Sabalenka. She won the Australian Open. She has the power but needs to mix in more finesse and control. Either way, we're blessed to see great tennis.
