  • What makes Fed so good , compared to nadal & djokovic - his style n flare for the game - allowed him to deal with most players more easily. Its about the variety and his talent. Both djokovic & nadal started with WAY less variety in their games , than did Federer. You see them often grind away with difficulty against several styles , like djokovic here . Less so did Federer, in my opinion This aspect was what made him greater than the other two

    • @@hello-mv6yg yes probly true ; those two are essentially grinders - in the end they win by the bread n butter style of consistency rather than variety or a more all court game. Both are great , no doubt about that , but in the GOAT debate, neither is a real candidate based purely on the numbers advantage they may or may not have

    • @@johnrenehan7406 Yes, that's what it is, thank you! It is very difficult to express Federer's advantage in numbers. Why was Hendrix the best guitarist for most people? Was he faster than other guitarists? Did it have the better sound? Did he play longer or play more notes than others? Or was he simply the most interesting and talented player for most people? Ultimately it is the masses who decide, and they are usually right most of the time. This should be investigated!

  • Love Kei Nishikori! And yet... Not a single title in Grand Slams (where to even reach the finals it's already epic) and only 12 titles (6 on ATP 250 tournaments and other 6 on ATP 500 tournaments)... The thing it's not "who can beat the big 3"... The real game is... who managed to have so many ATP and in particular... as many titles as any of the big 3. And no one gets closer. Not Kei Nishikori for sure... but Kei is a real hard worker with a great character. (not at all like a presumptuous Murray) ;)
