Good video and a good effort with trying to rank the gloves, the issue is very few pros use shop bought gloves, they all customise them. Have u ever used one glove?
That is a very good point most if not all gloves will be very different to shop bought gloves. If you watch my glove history video I give my opinion on the One Glove SLYR midnights which I used for about 1/2 a season. Like football boots there is a lot of customisation at the highest level, making some models worn very different from those on retail sale. I have actually given a pair away to a subscriber! I'm tempted by the new Type R model...
@@goalkeeperreviewsforyou i bought the type r model, my thoughts are the latex strap is good and the rest of the gloves are like the Geo 3.0, the cut on the fingers feel nice and tight wile being a flat cut. i would recommend them

Not yet! Thanks for the support, I wore the SLYR Midnight model a few seasons ago and liked them.
Ramsdale's gloves are really good and dura is not that bad, I think they will last half a season at least.
Thanks for the insight, I have both URG1.0 and 2.0 Hybrids. I have used them for a season and a half but have probably used the 2.0 in at least twice as many games. I will do a durability update video.
@@goalkeeperreviewsforyouI saw your vid on those gloves but I just dont see why so many people hate on adidas dura, they are not good but if you watch out to not palm the ground then they can last a bunch of time.
Gold X latex has way less dura than urg 1.0 (adidas pred hyb is really underrated in my opinion, the dura is not good but better than absulute grip, urg 2.0 is really good for dura and grip too.
You mean on natural fields? I don't think the same can be said for if you were playing on harder turfs or astro turf with super high ground abrasion
Agreed, astro is a killer for latex. I'll do a comparison video between the URG1.0 and 2.0 after 18 months soon.

@@crxhol1936I train on astro, I am not the most experienced keeper cause I am number 2 but on my latest match (away really good grass (probably best field I ever played on)) they didnt ripped till I got a kick into my pointer and middle finger. The other 2 matches I played on astro didnt ripped the latex at all and I used urg 2.0 comp model for full season on ag and they still have grip.
@@akosburian4422 yeah if you have a good diving technique it is usually going to reduce latex tearing but with adidas gloves that are always really tight on the fingers, it is very easy to get tears near the fingertips like you said
