Have you been wondering on what type of hay to get for your goats? Well in this video I go through the best suited type of hay for my Nigerians and why it is important to get a good quality hay along with why i choose it.

If you use a bedding Chopper or straw Chopper u can cut your hay bill in half that eat all of it u have to use a feeder will work for it .thay are gas powered or 220 electrical.

If they need it i will give the a dairy goat ration type feed.
Do you also feed chaff hay at any time?
I have never tryed chaff hay yet.
Buck aprons... wow! I'm brand new to goat farming with four 5-month old female Nigerian dwarfs. I have no bucks yet, but want to mate the females at 1-yo. I may just pay to have them studded. I have a bit to learn!

Why do square bales when you can do round bales it seems like a lot of extra labor to me.
For me sqaures are easier to take one down every 2 days. I dont have a tractor to move round bails around. So with rounds i have to take it apart and take pieces off of it everyday. Everyone is different though :)

I thought alfalfa wasn't good for goats due to high level of calcium and protein?
How many goats or animals do you have to require such amount of hay....I think having more than 200 bale of hay is too much for few goats such as yours

Truthfully more of a music video. It interacts music between truly reasonable information, but falls short as some information is left out. Most would be farmers lack the show air date in the video and that makes it difficult to determine if new methods have been applied. Decent music, much more long winded that it needs to be. If she cut it down to 5 or 6 minutes it would be much better.
This was a thirty second video padded with thirteen minutes of filler to try to appeal to the youtube algorithm. Definitely not looking for more content from this channel.
