Dang and still! S58 is a cheat code lol
Nice runs man. Found your channel recently. Good show and enjoy all the cars featured here...
I’m glad you liked it! Thanks
Having owned a m340 and now a 2024 M2 both amazing machines for what they are❤
What’s the widest tire that will fit in the rear of the M2? Maybe 315/30/20? With a sticky 200tw tire it should help keeping the tires from spinning. What year was your M340i?
@@weduhpeople8504 305 is what I've seen. My m340 was a 2021
I think 305 from what I've seen online and my M340 was a 21
I’ve seen 305, which are plenty big. That is a widebody hellcat tire size. If you need more than that on an M2… idk what to tell you lol
@@derekh5184 which one do you personally like most? the m340i or the m2?
Amazing video! so crazy to see the difference from this same car on 91 octane to E50! Great content keep it up.
Thank you!
This is an awesome race..so intense 😂
Great content 👌 Idea for comparison: you're golf r tuned vs stock m240i xdrive... i think i saw your video of rwd m240i, not one with xdrive.. Keep up great content 👌 👏
It would be a similar result. Only difference would be the dig would be close.
Great race. Would also love to see this M2 against the supras b58 on E50 since the supra is a lot lighter at around 3,400 pounds. Being a Supra owner myself I've been debating on making the jump to the M2 for the S58 so maybe you can convince me by posting a race with one on e50 (; and great content as always keep it up man!
Supra with a dp on a real e50 tune will easily beat my stock m2. It weighs almost 600lbs less than this m340i and 400lbs less than my m2
Wow those were close races for sure,it's really only at high speeds like 130 or 140 that you started to pull past in one race, one race you pulled ahead and he stayed right behind you, those were some sick races, dig obviously was a win for the xdrive. Your m2 and an m850i would be an interesting race as well I think. But damn those were some crazy close races
Yeah I need to run the m850. Those are quick
wow impressive the S58 is insane LMAO but props to the B58 with less than 4K in mods its keeping up with a stock S58 good race for sure !
Yours with the same exact mods might be faster than mine because yours is around 200lbs lighter than this one ;)
@@JVette01 true plus no drivetrain loss cuz of Xdrive only one way to find out i guess LOL femto soon haha
I would love for you to use dragy on the M340 to clock 0-60 and quarter mile. From a dig, it must be in the low 3 seconds and possibly low 11 seconds in the quarter mile. Great video…the M2 is still tough to beat! What a car…I’m glad I bought one. I would love to know the top speed of the M2 without a governor. I’m guessing close to 190. On the autobahn, they’ve hit the second limiter at 182 mph indicated.
This is my car in the video. With our DA being at 4100, I just did a 11.42 the other day and 3.4 sec 0-60
Impressive…thanks for replying. One very fast car and AWD. Enjoy.
The 2024 M2 has a good top end. I’d imagine with a port and polished S58 head with cams and upgraded valve train would perform even better. Not to mention a piggyback, E50, and transmission tune.
It’s already shown that with a catless dp and e50 tune it makes 700+whp
S58 just needs a downpipe and tuned on E.
The RWD has better legs than the AWD M340i when it comes to long runs. Also, you guys must have cat urine for fuel over there man lol.
True
I bought the 2024 M340i but in rwd for my wife. I want the 2024 M2 or should I wait for the 2026 Xdrive M2?
That’s up to you if you prefer hard launches over lighter weight and RWD playfulness.
Imagine a Supra with that same tune and so much lighter lol
Yeah Supra dp and e50 is faster than any stock s58 in a roll. 500lbs is a big difference
What’s crazy is he could buy an M2 with 2-5k miles for 60k. He probably paid more than that for his M340 if he got it new, and if he got it used he definitely spent more after his mods. The pricing of BMW’s are really weird, and don’t make a ton of sense to me. Some new M340is are 70k… like hold on, that’s M2 money.
The cars are different uses though. I agree which is why I bought an M2. He got it pre owned so he got his for high 40s I believe.
What year is his and is it xdrive? Nobody is more versed in the prices of M340i’s than me. High 40’s is usually 2020-2022, ~30k miles. My point was let’s just say he spent 50k and then another 10k in mods, just to lose to the M2 again, at that point, just go buy the M2 and save your warranty. lol. I know because these are the 2 cars I’ve been looking at for months, I’m well aware of both the used and new markets for each. The sweet spot for both is 1 year old, under 10k miles. The original depreciation hit appears to be pretty massive for both so that will more than likely be the route I go, unless a new 2024 M340i pops up for 52-53, and is a spec that I like. It’s tough in my mind buying a M340i for 5-7 grand less than I could get a used M2 in pristine condition with virtually no miles. BMW prices are weird, especially used.
Just generally speaking a used 2023-2024 M340i face lift, with under 15k miles, generally speaking can cost as low as about 53k, and goes up from there, the standard pricing usually more like 55-58 for well equipped X-drives, extremely low miles(
I wasn’t trying to say that your cars are equal in value, I didn’t mean no disrespect, everyone knows M2>M340i, I was just providing a little comparison. Go look at new M340i’s you’ll see 65-70k. Hypothetically speaking you could buy a barely used, 2023-2024, sub 2k mile M2, for less than that. That was my point.
@@ChrisDavis333this is my m340i in this video. I bought it over a year ago and spent around 2k in mods. At the time a S58 wasn’t in my budget but i’m plenty happy with my car. Being 22 years old i can’t really complain about what i own. Obviously there’s better but it takes time.
Nice knowledge learned here, so stock wow, are you planning to modd?
Maybe one day but I’m enjoying it stock for now
M2 makes 453 hp... Big lol 😂
