Thanks for your review. I just bought it and you were pretty much spot on with pros & cons. I'm as you 6'1 and I'm slim build. Padding of the chair feels spot on. Materials feels better than most gaming chairs out there and chair looks better than expected in real life. I had a Svive Lynx Tier 3 gaming chair before this one and it felt too narrow for my back and shoulders plus the sides of the seating made it impossible to spread my legs enough, I felt waaaayyyy to locked up, in it and gave me a claustrophobic feeling. The biggest con for me with the Cougar Armor Titan Pro Royal, is as you mention that the back-support doesn't come forward enough. Cougar mentions on their own website that this chair can go to a 90° angle, but that's not true,. it's more like 95°. My old chair could do 90° and I used that a lot. Why they and other gaming chair brands don't have this option is to me a design flaw. Another con is that when you lock the chair, it still leaves room for a tiny bit of tilting/wobbly.. annoying, but can be corrected by leaving the seat unlocked and tightening the tilting capability to max. As a personal preference.. They could also chill on the logo on the back. keep it more clean and minimalistic. "Less ifs more" for this type of chair. We don't need frickin laser beams and other gimmicky features on a chair like this.. leave that for other corny brands out there ,..Besides that, I like the chair and the mentioned cons is not enough for me to return it. If Cougar "finetune" the mentioned cons for a second gen Cougar Armor Titan Pro Royal chair, I feel they could take the throne one of the best choices out there, for us who's not built like a 12 year old teenager. All in all a really good first try from Cougar but not a perfect first try ;)
100% with you. THe gimigy stuff is a bit much, but COugar has always been like that. But a v2 with all the issues fixed I think would be amazing.
i bought a cougar ranger last year November . the cushion on the bottom shifted so i had to take it away to be reupholstered . other than that its pretty good . i am although looking for a new chair so i might consider this one or maybe the cougar ergo when it comes out

Hello, do you think this one is better than the HP Omen Citadel chair? I am just deciding which I'm gonna buy but I wanted to know if the Cougar one is more comfy. It is possible for you to compare them and provide me more details?
I'd rather get the cougar armor Titan pro, than hp citadel. HP citadel looks like one of those chinese rip off chairs, and the foams of those are so thin as well.

Hey man i want to know desk specs for this chair because my desk is being shorter for this chair i will get legs for desk please help me thank you
Its about the same height as most other gaming chairs. In the video we compared it to a standard MSI chair and it was the same height. I think the problem will be more the width depending on the spacing of your desk. Because the base is much wider it might have trouble fitting in some desks with drawers and so on the sides. Sorry for slow reply.
My weight is 70 kg and my height is 169 cm. Is this royal chair suitable for me? I want to delegate it, but I am worried about the size.
It might be a bit big, but could also be nice as you would have a lot of space and can even sit cross legged on it.

Quick revisit on this review, the website states the reclining is capable of 90 degrees, and the pic looks like it. Which one is true here, you review saying 100 or the website? Need a confirmation.
