Seriously true IOI fans will know how much pain they went through! Even though we didn't see everything behind the scenes, we could tell that these girls worked so hard! We watched them create strong friendships and sincerely care for one another. This is why I stan IOI! :')

zeena zayed usman IOI is a group formed from the survival tv show "Produce 101". Basically in the show, there were 101 contestants, all from different companies. They would practice and put on multiple performances. Fans watching the show would vote for the top 11 people. Those top 11 would be in the girl group IOI. Somi came in first, which explains why she is usually in the center. IOI signed under YMC Entertainment. They basically practice there and record there. They signed a 1 year contract, so IOI would only last for 1 year. So yes, they are disbanding in January. Hope this explains things better :). It is quite confusing if you aren't familiar with Produce 101.

(I mean both IOI and BP worked hard! Both deserve it!)And now I'm big fans of IOI but sadly they're going to disband soon 😔 I'm really like Kim Chungha, I fall in love with her dance, vocal and visual and I'm so happy that she's going to be a soloist. omfg i just cried a river I been watching since episode 1 and now thinking that ioi is going to disband so soon now. Just watching somi go from not making it during sixteen, to being first in produce 101 I should be doing homework, not getting emotional about girls that dont even know i exist

Their last song together will be produced by JYP and B1A4's Jin Young is said to be producing one of the songs for their last album. They were supposed to be a group for 9 to 10 months but it was extended to 1 yr.

No offense but she's not an example of that at all. Mnet gave her the rank. She had so much of the spotlight compared to the other trainees on the show. I like her NOW but when she got 5th place, I was like "wtf"? She totally didn't deserve to be that high in ranking. Even though I do like her, she doesn't offer much to I.O.I in terms of dancing or singing. She acts but many others in I.O.I can act too. The only thing that got her through was her quirky personality and literally every girl in I.O.I had a quirky personality, especially Doyeon and Yoojung. If Mnet gives a trainee so much screen time on the show, they'll definitely make it into the group because the people watching get used to him/her and it paves an easy way to the top rankings so it is technically unfair and foul play on Mnet's part.
Tbh it's pretty much a battle of who gets 5-11, top 4 is stable enough.

They’re still the best Produce group to me, imagine if they had the same contract as IZ*ONE? They would’ve been even more iconic than they already were
i couldnt agree more, as an individual they are all standouts even more as a group. this group honestly has really strong stage presence and charisma too bad their contract is too short. the 6months reunion comeback should push through with their solo achievements, imagine how strong it is for the comeback reunion.

Oh that's for sure. Even my sister who is a longtime Hallyu fan even told me that IOI is the only group that she could ever resemble to SNSD may it be the talent, the visuals, the hardwork.

Somi = As JYP once said, she has that 'star quality' All rounder, nice visuals, and gets along with everyone. Sejeong = Resembles Eunji. Her vocals are no joke. Yoojung = Shes so cute. I remember she was ranked D and she made her way up. Also an all rounder. Chungha = I don't know where to begin with her. Her dancing is amazing and although I.O.I has yet to show her singing ability, she is also an all rounder. She has that charisma when she performs too. Sohye = Trained at an acting company with no prior experience. She was so bad at first but her improvement is amazing. Makes me want to cheer for her. Kyulkyung = So damn pretty like what. Her vocals/dancing are pretty good too. Chaeyeon = Also pretty. She didn't stand out to me tbh tho. Doyeon = Similar to pinky and chaeyeon. Mina = Shes mad adorable. I don't mind her being plump either. Nayoung = The leader. Also a rapper. Yeunjung = Godlike vocals.

I honestly think I.O.I is the only group the national producers selected by talent. They were definitely the best group from Produce 101, and maybe one of the best groups ever debuted. They have 2 of the best vocalists K-pop ever had : Sejeong and Yeonjung. What I like about this duo is that they have different styles : Sejeong has a softer, sweeter vocal suited for ballads and OSTs, while Yeonjung has a very powerful vocal. When she belts or sing high notes she just gives me goosebumps. But other than these 2, we have other very strong vocalists as well, such as Chungha, Yoojung, Kyulkyung, Doyeon and maybe even Somi. Other than vocal, they also some of the best dancers in K-pop. Chungha, the queen of dancing, but also Yoojung, Mina, Kyulkyung, Somi, Doyeon and Nayoung. They had 2 very strong rappers, Nayoung and Yoojung, but Mina is really good too. The best visual line : Kyulkyung, Chaeyeon and Doyeon, but Sejeong and Somi are very pretty too. Sohye might not be as skilled as the others, but she is perfect for variety skills and the best example of never giving up and improvement. This group was near to perfect, but they exactly had to be the group that would last one year. It’s such a shame.

To think that she has to train from start to finish within three months. Her never dying spirit is what made her into IOI, that's what I(us fans) like about her so much. She gets publicly scold in front of thousands of people, but she pulls it through with smiles. So please, stop hating on my queen!

i watch this every day and never fail to tear up when I see sejeong . She is a literal sunshine and without her , I can’t imagine how ioi would be like . she was the only member who smiled brightly when she heard the results until she broke down . I saw a comment saying that sejeong finally could achieve her dreams and I fully agree . She was in the 1st and 2nd spot for every evaluation so she deserved it i would have cried if yoojung and doyeon did not debut together . They are a pair and cannot be separated. Chungha is one of the all rounded members . she came from a small company and finally made a name for herself in produce 101 kyulkyung trained for so Long , and her korean was excellent , even though she was from China . somi did not debut in sixteen , but she finally beat 96 other trainees and claimed the 1st spot . She was only 15 and achieved so much thank you ioi for all the wonderful memories even though I did not know about you when you debuted ( I stanned them after they disbanded :( ) I will continue to support all of you . You have come a Long way . IOI fans will forever support you
Jeon Soyeon doe.. glad she finally got her break with (G)I-DLE. My favorite girl rapper! She composes for her girl group! Such a gem. Too much swag! I.O.I my fav now too! Respect for every trainee out there
I know no group could beat the iconic Girls' Generation, but I think I.O.I comes really close. They have 2 main vocalists Sejeong and Yeonjung, which is not very common. And fact that the 2 main vocalists are like, one of the best of their generation. The main dancer Chungha is obviously one of the best dancers in her generation. But Jieqiong and Mina are great dancers as well. Plus their visual line Chaeyeon, Jieqiong and Doyeon are the best visuals in their generation. The group also has a lot of all rounders (Chungha, Yoojung, Jieqiong, Mina, Somi), but I like the fact that they do have speciality (for example Chungha is an all rounder but her best quality is dance). They also have an amazing rapper Nayoung. When they were missing their 2 main vocalists, they still showed amazing vocals, especially Chungha and Jieqiong. Doyeon doesn't get many lines, but in 'I Love You I Remember You' she showed that she has great vocals, and actually would be able to be a lead vocalist. Somi has one of the best stage presence in Kpop, that's why she is an amazing center. Sohye might not be the most talented member, but she is an amazing actress, and she is very funny. She also improved so much, she is the perfect example of that you should never give up. I.O.I is one of the most talented girl groups or idol groups overall, it's such a shame that they already disbanded after only one year.

I think all of them deserve to be here... I'm sorry, but we only see them in the show, after a lot of editing... we never knew what they're going through behind the camera... they learn, practice, hard work, enough to make all of them deserve to be in the team ^^

1-3 and 5 was pretty much certain, the other spots still had me guessing and I can still feel the tension during the long time it took to announce 11th. I really think people should go and support all of the final 11 regardless if some of their favorites didn't make it or whatever you might think of some of the girls who may not be your favorites. We've followed their story for the last 3 months and they all went through the same hardships during that time so it just makes perfect sense to give all of them our support. Remember that these 11 are chosen by the "nation producers" not "some individual producer". I have my own version of the 11 I'd like to see debut but I'm not gonna complain cause the final 11 are the ones who people most want to see. IOI fighting!!

Omg when Kang Mina started crying I burst out in tears cause she was my bias since day #1 and I continued sobbing through the whole thing. then at the end when all the girls meet up and hugged there was one of the 11 not chosen that literally sprinted over to the top 11 and that made me cry even more. then they all did big hugs that where so emotional and I replayed that like 10000 times while finishing a tissue box. they all worked so hard and deserve to be there! I love IOI so much and it breaks my heart that they are having to disband because they have such a great bond and they are all closer that sisters which is a bond u can never break

Rewatching this video after knowing that PD101S2 will end next week. Time flies so fast.. It's been a year and now, next week is the final episode of Produce 101 Season 2 and we will find out who will debut. I'm not yet ready seeing the boys like thiss too, They are crying because of happiness and sadness just like this...

I think tbh this is the beautifulist thing i have ever seen, just trainees in general. It is so fascinating because one day they decide they want to be something, a celebrity (an idol), then they dedicate years of their life to something they may not even reach, while everyone around them and their families are doing their own thing, but not one of any member of each idol group ever quit, is that not fascinating? I mean i bet they have thought of it (I know GOT7's Mark considered it), and it's hard not to especially for foreigners because they basically get into this with one shot, but one day all the hard work and tears and frustration all of a sudden pays of and you are told you will be a celebrity right then and there, i cant imagine all of the thoughts going on in these girls heads. It must be the best feeling in the world to have all that dedication pay off. I have so much respect for I.O.I, and what frustrates me the most is that they are disbanding?! Can someone explain what the system is because they had such a good start, was it in the contract or something for them to (by the end of 2016) disband? They are my favourite girl group and honestly could have gone places...
I always come here after another survival show just to remember how great, talented, loved and fair was the formation of ioi , they were the blueprint

I'm not a hardcore follower and fan of IOI but I have seen their journey and how they have come a long way ever since they debuted and watching this again made me teary-eyed. Produce 101 season 1 girls you've made history and will always be remembered. IOI ❤
