The word 'classic' is bandied round a bit, but this definitely falls into that category. Stuntwork in the hands of MICKEY GILBERT and JAMES ARNETT. Many classic moments - we cover a few here for your enjoyment. If you haven't seen it, get on it...you won't be disappointed.

WELL DONE!!
Maverick is another good western , mic rogers doing the jump in between the horses
The 2nd part of the "JUMP" was done out at the Fox Ranch, sometimes referred to as the Century Ranch out near Malibu... The Paramount Ranch was a few miles nearby, now run by the National Park Service. I spent 25 out of my 40 years in HOLLYWOOD with 20th Century-Fox, was even their studio historian. Good presentation.
Excellent work, as ever. That fall is a particularly uncomfortable watch once you know the background of it. I'm completely with you about "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" always conjuring up that sequence with Paul Newman and Katherine Ross in my mind. What a movie!
I saw a documentary about the film a couple of years ago. In that the films photographer, Conrad L. Hall discribes the bicycle scene and tills that HE was on the bike when it crashed and not Mickey Gilbert. Can they have shot it twice in another ange, or...?
