This is great watching. We call this type of mechanic in Canada "Heavy-Duty mechanic". Semi trucks, tractor trailers, 18 wheelers, rock trucks, military trucks etc. Looks like you're working on many military trucks that are fairly new. This must be nice, no mud, no oily mess, no rusted bolts, no old everything that's been put together wrong by someone before you!
Seeing all the heavy work and eating......the noodles suddenly looks delicious. Great video.

so your saying if he doesn't spend 20 grand on a snapon toolbox and figure another 20/25 grand filling it with made in America snapon crap he still can be a good mechanic?? sum here in good'ol USA would say different!

You don't get much for 25000 Jeremy try another 100000 on top of that 25000. I'm at least 250000 deep in tools. Tools don't make the mechanic its a sickness that makes the mechanic I taught diesel for a few years at a school and at the end of the year I would tell the students it takes a special kind of person to do this day in and day out!
It's such a weird system in the US with people getting tens of thousands of dollars in debt to buy tools to work at someone else's shop. Here the employer has to provide the tools for the job. You don't have to spend a penny. It's the same with student loan debt. Sometimes I have a feeling this shit is designed to put people in the hamsterwheel from early on...

It's cool to see the difference between North America and China. In China a mechanic's job is not highly regarded by the Chinese people. But in Canada and the US it is a very highly regarded job that requires years and years of schooling and training. Mechanics make very very good money out here. At least heavy duty Diesel's do. A mechanic's job is difficult. And very stressful sometimes.
