How cool! I need to add this to my "need" list!
It was on our “want” list for several years. He slowly saves up for it. Maybe that’s the trick, I should’ve had it in our “need” list 😂. We absolutely love it!!! We have been able to preserve so much food with it, and have a bit of fun with doing candy. This freeze dryer added a whole other level to our food preservation. we use 10 minutes on the upfront warm time and 145 F candy mode setting. That seems to help with the candy mode. our worms are all nice and crunchy! Our Laughy Taffy is also puffier.

Gummy’s take 12 hrs minimum. I run all my gummies overnight. Hasn’t failed in 8 years. 😃

Maybe 🤔. I don’t run candy longer than 5 hours. I’m not sure a regular batch would work, but I think I’ll put in a few pieces of candy with food and see how that does. Thanks for watching!

Anything gummy takes 12 + hours
12+ using the candy mode? I’m going to try higher temp next time, hoping that works. I can’t bring myself to run the FD for 12+ hours for a candy batch. Thanks for watching 😊
