Thank you for tuning in to the first How to play Dhol class with Indy Notta to keep you entertained and learn a new skill during the 2020 coronavirus covid-19 lockdown.
This lesson will focus on an introduction into holding the Dhol sticks and learning a few basic notes (bol). You will see in the video that this is for beginners and you can get involved with or without a Dhol or Dhol sticks.
In this lesson there are 3 rudiment exercises to practice and get comfortable with before the next video.

  • Ive got a wee dhol, just got my sticks (proper ones)! I'm going to be 49 tomorrow. I want to learn dhol because I love drums of all cultures. Never played any drums before. Thank you for making these videos. I sound horrid! Smile. I was born in England but now live in Boise, Idaho so my neighbors hate me.
