Smith Rowe is good when the days were bad he was a bright light
Correct but now the team has outgrown him
@JoshuaGuevara-yf7wp you say that but his been out with injury for a long time not enough games under his belt, he would turn up against big teams I've seen Odegarrd bottle it in games, he got bullied in the Luton game, plus we haven't won nothing yet. till we win something then Arsenal have not out grown him i would keep him 100%
ESR and Willock was something else those days
@@Vivi-dh3fx in his best season ( only good season of his career 21/22) he did nothing against cheslea 2-0 loss Did nothing against city 5-0 loss Nothing against Liverpool 4-0 loss Nothing against spurs 3-0 Nothing against Newcastle 2-0 In the carabao cup he wasn’t in the squad for the 1-1 draw at anfield played for the 0-2 loss at home. That was 2 seasons ago. Since then he can’t stay fit. Before 21/22 he also showed nothing. He was loaned out twice. Odegaard is a much better player. And actually FITS the system. Arsenal have outgrown him 21/22 Arsenal was a team trying to fight for champions league football. This Arsenal are fighting for he title two years in a row, and have reached further in the champions league then they have for over a decade. They may not have won anything yet but to pretend they are at the same level when smith Rowe had his ONE decent season is disingenuous. The team has outgrown him , he has only stayed because he is from the academy. Better depth can be added that both fit the system and are not injury prone. Keeping players that are not good enough because you have an attachment to them aid a sure fire way to never make it to the next level.
@JoshuaGuevara-yf7wp The thing is unfortunately we won't grow till we beat city stats are stats about Smith Rowe his different from Saka who can get marked out of a game along with Martinelli throw in Odegarrd too, intricate passing don't work all the time Jesus's always injured weres the attacking threat to drive the ball forward its the business end of the season plus Champions league if we don't win nothing we haven't grown you need something different to change the picture he just needs games.
ESM has come back from a rather bad career injury. He needed surgery for an injury that shouldn't need surgery, which is always a bad sign. Arteta is right to bench him and use him sparingly. The player needs time to recover and get back to 90 minutes.
Isn't this kind of what happened with Martinelli? He wasn't playing for ages, and everyone was getting pissed about it. Then when he finally came into the side properly he was on fire. Maybe the same thing can happen with ESR. Thought the time frame has been a lot longer, so who knows. Still think ESR is too good to just let go yet, and he is different from anything we have atm.
A loan move to Aston Villa playing for a manager that he's familiar with, maybe that could help. There's a player there.
💯 I would hate to lose ESR. Great player
Villa welcome smith Rowe.
I miss those days when ESR used to bench Martinelli
The man who saved Arteta’s job at Arsenal is on the brink of losing his own job at Arsenal. How table’s have turned. I hope Arteta will keep him another season and give him chance to see how he does before decide to sell him and move him on to another club.
He needs to go. Love the guy but we have to move on
Unless he wants to stay... but I got a feeling he will be similar to Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. Damn brilliant at times but very injury prone. Can be that super sub type of player but not week in week out. Unfortunately this means he won't be starting 11.
ESR can start for arsenal once he's fully fit
@@yungdkay1008out of interest, instead of who?
ESR should be one of the first names on the teamsheet but Arteta would rather play his mates Jorginho and Havertz just because they have the same agent.
@@sunnyr2794 He can be our left 8 Midfield trio of Rice, odegaard and ESR
I love this guy. I really don't think Arteta is just scared of injuring him. But I really do think he is vital squad player for us. His versatility can give the club a boost.
Let him go to Aston Villa's
He has to go to aston villa; he needs time and less pressure. Giving him no. 10 was wrong IMO
Smith Rowe is the only player we have that can progress the ball forward with his feet and his link up play is amazing. If he finds form his skill set is invaluable.. a lot of these new fans probably don’t remember how good he was when it was just him and sakka carrying us.
have you seen ESR's size now, he's much bigger than his 10 goal season
He's brilliant in attack but he doesn't track back. The game he played recently, someone ran past him into the box, got the ball and scored.
Odegaard and Havertz don’t track back either
Love smith rowe but the other two do more defensive running @@carter3369
Havertz is the king of tracking back@@carter3369
I like him and I hope we can use him as league back up and cup games. Same with Zinny and Ramsdale. It depends if he's ok with that though
Some injuries take a bit of extra time to recover and building confidence back is tough. I think a loan outside of the UK would be great since Smith Rowe is just 23. Would be great to see him get minutes
If he wasn’t from the academy no one would be asking to keep him
Arsenal don’t really need him do the lad a favour and move him on
Remember when Martinelli got injured Arteta took his time bringing him back and that decision paid off seems like the same approach with ESR
I am hoping it is similar to artet's early treatment of Martinelli. ESR will always be defined by that Chelsea game for me
Yeah, too many cooks in the kitchen for the roles he wants. Was fun watching him play in his best season but I think he, Nelson and Nketiah will finance a move for Nico Williams or other versatile and pacey winger to cover saka and Martinelli.
ESR should go to any top 5 sides in top 5 European leagues. He will show what he is made of there !
Tbh he has to go. If we want to improve our squad we can’t afford to be sentimental towards players who are always injured etc
He needs to go for his own good. Sadly.
I am not so sure ( not contradicting the video)... Nelson hasn`t brought anything this season from the bench and I would assume he leaves end of season along with Nketiah. Smith Rowe had interesting scenes against Newcastle coming on and I would test him on the wing. E.g when you would bring on Nelson or you sub Martinelli, since Smith-Rowe ist faster than Trossard. I would love to see him having minutes ... just to see him And if Nelson leaves Arsenal are left with 3 wingers ... since they are searching for 6/8 type, second goalkeeper and a striker I don`t know if we can afford another winger
As a winger I rather keep Nelson than smith Rowe. “Interesting scenes “ is giving him a lot of benefit. Both aren’t good enough and have only stayed this long because of the academy.
@@JoshuaGuevara-yf7wp I know ,,interesting" isn`t specific. Its just that Nelson never does sth when he comes on. Smith-Rowe had an injury and e.g. against Newcastle a shot of him was cleared in the line, he takes players on and risks sth. Nelson never does anything active... but maybe both are leaving. I personally would like to see some minutes for ESR, 20min here and there just to see if he can do sth. Atleast we know he can because he already had a good season.
we must sell ramsdale tierney nelson eddie (and not for sure but i believe we should get rid of esr aswell) and partey. use that money along with what we will earn/already have and sign gyokeres and a technical winger like nico williams/adingra or the versatile eze and see if we can find a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. 2nd gk isnt a massive problem, there are many 6/8s out there to replce jorginho (aging) such as zubimendi, douglas luiz
People like ESR, nelson, viera are reasons we look weak sell this guys and get good replacement
His 10 goal season weren’t during Covid, that was the season before *
Why can’t we just loan him?
we can sell him and get a better player
Gotta sell and get £25m or more. Pure profit and a player who Aeteta doesn't seem to trust in this system. You're probably right about his quality out of possession.. I can't remember many duels he's won and his pressing is more of a body occupying space rather than going for the ball.
I don't like such headlines, should be play while injured!?the potential is there 💯 let him have a proper season next yr and judge him
If Astonvilla buy smith Rowe very good villa next season can get champion league entrance.
only if he replace by other hale end player
He's my favourite player alongside Saka, Loan him to Villa on a short term and sell Eddie and Nelson
I’ve been saying this since the start of the season, sell him
He should go out on Loan. That s a special talent, homegrown as well.....
ESR is similar to KDB, he can offer Arsenal a different alternative.
A loan or sell with a buy-back clause would work imo
Why does he need to go? Rotation players are needed too. He wants to stay and fight. Let him.
Smith row Eddie Nelson have to go this summer get what ever u can for then
Nelson, Eddie, smith rowe, eleny all need replacing, a striker, another box to box mid, and a CB.
5 out and 3 in answers on a postcard ladies it speaks for itself really Ramsdale out Eddie out Rowe out Elbeny out Cedric out
maybe a loan to aston villa next season than we see how he performs and go from there
Over 50 M then sell. If not keep him. If Odegaard is out for a month we'll need him.
He needs to humble himself and join de zerbi's brighton or a team like that so he can turn into a 70mil killer
He has just one problem, injuries 😢😢😢😢 sell him just
He is not good enough. Came through the ranks with Saka. Has has become one of the best in the league he can’t get a game. £50m and Chelsea can have him!!
⁰I love the guy but he needs to go he has been doing nothing I understand he gets off the bench but Trossard does something while coming of the bench and Arsenal needs a team of leaders cause rn we can al see that Mikel has been buying players who has been captain and are leaders players like Havertz Rice Timber all of those players has been captain , Smith doesn't trust himself anymore if he were to do what he did before his injury he can stay
Arteta will sell ESR and give Havertz the number 10 shirt. 🤡
No.
He has to go on loan for me
play him or send him on loan. do not sell. he saved our asses once. can still be a major player for us.
He should be playing, not starting every match but definitely 15-20 games a season getting full 90s. He shouldve played on the left wing with trossard in the middle when jesus and martinelli were injured. He could even be played as a false 9
get rid
Emile is as crucial to Arsenal as Grealish is to Man City. I think he's even better than Grealish, playing on the left wing. His ball carrying creates chances & he could be a really good shadow striker (picks up good spaces)
He doesn’t even get minutes when his fit now
your off you fkcn head mate, I love the smith but Grealish legit started all of citys CL matches in the knockout stages, pls come on its a brain dead comparison
grealish is better
Are you depressed? With all this negativity i mean..
Spelling error at 1:50.
Emile Smith Rowe isn’t small he’s Legitimately 6ft tall, not much smaller than Declan Rice, He just needs minutes. I don’t know why he hasn’t been on loan yet if he’s not playing.. Arteta likes Lefties coz they’re harder to dispossess in challenges.. Again, he needs minutes
He’s been on several loans it’s time to move on
@@JoshuaGuevara-yf7wp he’s been injured.. Just needs to play we could regret letting him go. There’s a player in there
@@alisankoh4052 you only like him because he is hale end. There is a reason at almost 24 years old he doesn’t even have 150 games for club and country. If Arsenal sell him and he becomes an okay player that’s nothing to regret. He would have to become one of the best players in the world for a club to be regretful. And I know you don’t actually believe he has that potential.
@@JoshuaGuevara-yf7wp I do, & I work in physio and it can take time for players to reach form again.. But even harder if you’re not playing coz you’re not progressing training isn’t enough
He looks like he has put on weight
