My heart aches for Zhou Zishu because at this point, he's losing his sense of taste and hearing. He knows his days are numbered, but with Gu Xiang set to marry Cao Weining, he would rather suffer in silence than have Wen Kexing lose another important person in his life. This kind of love is very selfless, pure, and one that rarely exists in our world.

Though her words seem rude, she’s still a decent person with attractive appearance and warm heart. He fed her, built snowman for her, taught her martial arts, protected her and granted her request quickly. It’s great to see a sassy, fierce man like him becoming confused and worried when his sister cried out loud. I don’t know if anyone could raise her better than him

The character development that we see with Wen Ke Xing and Zhou Zi Shu is absolutely wonderful. In the past, Zi Shu was very quick to condemn Ke Xing and throw him aside, clearly upset by his behavior. But more recently, he has become more patient and understanding with Ke Xing. It's so heart-wrenching to see Ke Xing struggling and drenched in despair and anger, but it's reassuring to know that Zi Shu is by his side. On the other hand, it's equally saddening to see that Zi Shu's condition is getting worse. When he was drinking the liquor and Ke Xing tasted it, comparing it to vinegar, Zi Shu paused and realized what was going on. He's beginning to lose his sense of taste. Zi Shu and Ke Xing are both suffering, physically, mentally, and emotionally, but I believe that their friendship is what is keeping them both sane and somewhat sober.
@Yizhan_ Wangxian They might not know Word of Honor was based off a BL novel and that the only reason it's not 100% obvious that Ke Xing is in love with Zi Shu and vise versa is because of China's censorship, as it bans all BL. So China made it into a bromance friendship, even though originally they were in love with eachother romantically. I mean I think it's still obvious that they are in love with eachother romantically, even if they don't say it out loud, but for some people, such as the ones who don't know WoH is based off a BL, it might not be too obvious. Or they might know that both of them are in love with eachother but also have this special friendship too on top of it.
I found the think about the liquor weird but I didn't even think about his condition making him lose his sense of taste. It breaks my heart now that I think about it.

Heartbreaking to hear when A Xiang asked WKX if he plans to abandon her! 😪😪😪💔 They have such a special bond.
I loved the part where he told Wen Ning that he didn’t just save her, she saved him too. He would be such a different person if it wasn’t for A-Xiang to take care of and her taking care of him. Their relationship is probably why ZZS gave WKX a chance (I know I liked them more bcuz of A-Xiang and WKX’s unusual but cute dynamic). And they both want to be accepted by the ones they love but they’re scared of being rejected once they show their true selfs! A-Xiang really is a Daddy’s girl and yes WKX, she is your daughter! I love this so much🥺🥺🥺🥺

this whole episode was just WKX being a dad to our wonderful Ah Xiang T___T i loved how he was so vulnerable in this. i also loved how as he was giving Xiang away, he was getting more and more comfortable with the idea of living a life with ZZS and his silly disciple. "forget about the tranquil life, with this this little brat, we'll only have messy days." it's like he's fully stepped into this role of being a father to this kid that the man he loves has picked up, and he wouldn't really mind spending the rest of his life with them.
YES! He really is losing a daughter and gaining a son - not just his son-in-law, but the son of the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with!
