    • I think they were trying to think of the positives from the trauma to remain level-headed, but I did wish they showed a bit more care. At least we all know why the other dude got spat on frequently - man deserves it after what he did to the prince just so he could get laid.

  • I wanted to like this movie as I loved the original. However the nature of the backstory and how nobody said WTF made me question the whole premise of the plot if it was a Queen. How would that work? Simply going back to America where the Queen gets raped... Yea that story is not gonna be a Comedy. I mean we're not talking about a guy, as the King said, trying to spread his royal oats, but rather find the one. Only to have his lets be real, virginity taken by a women who drugs him. I just wished Eddie Murphy made them have some sort of repercussion. Instead we get this movie, everyone wins, including the rapist.

Females can be rapists too, remember he came to America to find the one but instead he attends a this party cause that's what 'Americans' do and was drugged. Due to memory loss, no doubt it was GHB, a date rape drug. He never sought out to party, do drugs, and ruin his life. This is about the story of the first movie. Innocence until he was drugged. If you think drugging him to have sex with him is okay, then I feel sorry for any of your children. It's not a simple movie if the entire backstory is rape, who thinks of rape as simple?

  • I dunno as an African, everything about the so called Africans in this movie are just so American it feels so disconnected hahaha. Like every clip I've seen just make me feel like it's a bunch of African Americans who happened to rule a country in Africa or if Africa was made up of African Americans, or something of the sort. It's incredibly culturally disconnected. Not offended though, it's really just super weird.
