Alan knows very well how seriously we take DJ's nicknames for these characters. R.I.P Beeper (Zombee)
It was sad when beeper sacrificed 😢
It's also in a minecraft mod video. So technically the beeper is a mod.
Creebee😢
I think it should be Creebee instead, although I know that after one or two more episodes, I'll be calling it Zombee as well! 🤣🤣
I thought he said Bombee😅
Alan:officially names a character after years of animating DJ:i missed the part where thats is my problem
I love DJ's constant commitment to being wrong when it it comes to character names
I think he's doing that to jokingly tell Alan to actually name the secondary characters in order to stop him. I genuinely think Beeper is one of the first
Day 6 of asking DJ and alan to play kingdom of two crowns
Poop guy :D
One exception: Ruben
@@zanerthegamer4747 Nope, that was DJ's name for the pig. Alan was always noncommittal
I just now noticed that yellow's powers at the "final boss" represent Tco. He flies with fire and shoots lasers, could hint that Yellow and Tco will be the main point of focus in the next AvA episode
Omg I just noticed
I mean yeah, since Yellow was captured by the other guys, that’s really plausible
Yellow is the Iron Man to TCO's Superman
Interesting
i feel like it shows that yellow is interested by tco’s powers, since his powers are pretty anomalous and yellow is the curious type
From all the new block staffs to Scott Buckley's amazing soundtrack to even the game references... This is my favourite episode so far in the whole AVM series
My favorite reference was the Getting Over It villager.
@@K-ZYsame
that double portal thing is from opm that was awesome to see
And a reference to the original animation vs minecraft
also a reference to Failboat
What I find really cool about this is that it works really well whether or not it’s watched before or after the main vs Minecraft series. If it’s watched after the main vs minecraft series, it’s a neat nod to the staff’s first introduction and expands on what other blocks can do in an entertaining way - the stickmen first discovered the staff but thanks to the circumstances the viewers could only watch how it is used for taking down the bad guy, now that they’ve got downtime they can explore what it can do in detail alongside satisfying viewer curiosity. If it’s watched before the main vs minecraft series, to the watcher, they’re exploring a new item - a staff, and shows the watcher the purpose of the staff and what it does according to the chosen block in an entertaining way - which hypes the viewers up for what is to come when the staff is introduced in the main vs Minecraft series due to seeing lucky block staff ep beforehand. Also completely different note but I am genuinely in awe of when Red twirls the staff when he tests out the lucky block, the movements flow so well wtf
You have a point in a way these types of episodes function as filler episodes, they either have a conflict that is solved by the end of the episode, or are just the stick figures having fun with a unique new thing they find in between the major conflict that happens in each season
Imo it’s less filler and more… informative? In that yes, it’s self contained and you don’t need to watch it for the main series to make sense, but if you do, it expands a lot more on certain concepts that the main series brought up but didn’t explore much in depth, while also making callbacks to previous episodes and combining it together in interesting ways, which gives a good Easter egg bonus for the people who watch it. It’s pretty good worldbuilding and provides us more info about the characters in a refreshing way. Might not be necessary to understand the main series, but it sure does add a lot of depth to the mechanics of it, at least that’s how I view it.
Just for the record, Green doesn't actually need the staff to sing anymore. But everything else, great job to Skim and the rest of the Alan Becker team! This is extraordinary!
I don't think he could use his own singing as a weapon
@@AlexMechEmperor TSC certainly can tho
@@tornadomash00LAAAAAAAAAAAAA
@@AlexMechEmperor Yeah good point, I guess we've never actually seen it.
@@easymodegamer501 So true 😂
I dont think people relized tht the Villager in the culdron with the anvil is a refference to "Getting Over It" And I honestly love that detail, As well as all the other attention details. Such an amazing series, Team and Creator
I realized. I had to pause for a moment when I saw it.
Dude there are so many references in this one video it’s insane
I immediately recognized him even though I've never played the game (I have played the Scratch version tho, but I haven't completed it). Really nice detail :)
Kamikazbee
Glad to see I'm not the only one
Alan, this had to be my favorite AVM so far. I loved watching the stick gang use and find out what each block did in the staff. Keep up the good work!
DJ is honestly just a great person for reacting, he got his very own sense of humor.
I love how this episode is structured like a video game. It has different stages and boss fights, along with loot that you get after beating a boss. But seriously, there are a lot of bosses in this video, so I might as well cover them all! Boss #1: Lucky Block Mid-Boss #1: Zombie Piglin Mid-Boss #2: Iron Golem Mid-Boss #3: Zombie Boss #2: Queen Bee Mid-Boss #4: Shulker Box Mid-Boss #5: Lightning Axolotl Mid-Boss #6: Villager Mid-Boss #7: Spider Polar Bear Mid-Boss #8: Wither Skelton Mid-Boss #9: Portal Cow Mid-Boss #10: Boat Final Boss #3: Lucky Block Rematch And finally, 2 unknown mid-bosses who died offscreen.
Yes, this needs to be a video game. In fact, there should be a full-on free roam sandbox Alan Becker game, but there would be certain quests you could do, and this would be one of them!
There are 3 stages to watching a AvM Video, watching the video, watching DJ's reaction and listening to the music video
Absolutely right 👍
music video?
@@zixvirzjghamn737 i guess his name is scott. The musician who makes the cinematic musics for these episodes. Also there is Aaron groove who makes music for these episodes too but he makes the more joyful and hiphop likely ones
And stage 4: repeating the whole thing until a new video
@@Tomos_J-J fr, i watch all of the Alan becker's videos at least 3 times
13:10 I was hoping dj recognized the 'getting over it' reference A dude in a cauldron with a sledgehammer
Thank you, I thought he would notice it to
Who don't
I also noticed that
I love how Alan can put a soul into anything form stick figure, all the way to a stuff or a boat. truely an amazing episode. I'm sure everyone is happy about all of the abilities the stuf has with diefferent blocks.
Since Beeper always wanted to blow up, I can imagine Beeper went like "Yaaaaaaaaay" *boom* when Red nodded yes. this is supported by the fact that Beeper did kind of a happy dance before exploding.
Personally, i think the way the sculk detects sounds and give it's wielders a more reactive and instantaneous reaction to threats is a really creative approach. They basically made you have UI
I love how many references there were in this video. I'll list the ones I caught: AvM: pigman fight has repeated choreography from the original and the gang's entrance to the room is the same as well AvA: Yellow's dual-staff fighting style in the final boss is basically TCO's main stuff Getting Over It: Villager in a cauldron with a sledgehammer that gets caught on the ground The intro animation for the Big Bee looks familiar, but I can't tell if it's something specific or not Across The Spiderverse: Green's loadout in the final fight is basically both Spider-Man and The Spot combined I almost definitely missed a few, but I'll add more to the list if I find them. There's so much happening on the Ghast ride up, it'll take a few watches
you missed Failboat, the boat(good at fighting)
There's also the cute chaos in the way that the gang mines into the Lucky Block Tower which is a reference to when they also mine into red's netherrack base in AVM Original.
@@zixvirzjghamn737 I'm not familiar with that, probably why I missed it
Also that one move where green made a magma block over his head is ripped straight from steve's smash bros moveset.
The initial fight with the portal cow was basically Spiderman Vs The Spot, plus the way they defeated the cow.
At 14:54 I was VERY surprised that DJ didn't say something like, "Oh, it's the final boss battle!" 🤣🤣🤣
He said something like that at 15:20
I normally don't notice the differences between the reaction and the normal video but this time I did. The bamboo staff was longer in the full release than in the early version they used in this one.
I made a Loki reference in Alan's channel and I'm gonna do it here too 18:36 beeper : "I know what I have to do, for you, for all of us"
I don’t have the hands, but I have the power. You’re on your own red. Beeper out.
"Must Journey to the top of the tower. Where the orb of light sits." sounds like a OneShot reference to me.
14:20 the first time watching this scene with my sister, i was yelling "BULLY THE BOAT!!"
BEAT UP
Now that you pointed out the couch the figures sit on, I've started wondering where did they get that couch? I know it's in a couple of the videos, but it doesn't look animated the same way as SC, and it doesn't look like it came from the game the other stick figures came from. Could we get a couch backstory sometime?
They could've pulled it from a google image or something. They've done that with other things in the past.
We love beeper, we love blind SC, we love this. My personal favorite episode EVER! Thank you skim ❤
I don't think he was blind with the sculk staff I think it gave him hyper senses so he could hear every little sound and notice every little movement which is also why everything slows down when he uses it
correct. @@Detective_Lavender
erm akshually its zombee not beeper
@@Astral_Divinity nah it's Beeper it's not a zombie bee it's a creeper bee (yes ik this comment is a joke but still)

DJ talking through the whole thing with voice acting is golden
I feel like if the Herobrine staff actually had his full power, it would probably single-handedly destroy the luckyblock staff in seconds.
Did anyone notice the fake staff that red made was actually one bamboo shorter then the original video?
Yes
Yeah, DJ and Alan react the "earliest version" of the episodes, all of their reactions have some diferences from the final product
I did too.
Oh wait what
@@cacovonluca Yeah, sometimes the videos are altered slightly. They react to the video before it comes out. Personally I think that should be changed.
Even if I saw it coming, Beeper death was kinda sad. At least it's probably the end of luck parasite the orb.
Love the reference to boats being considered entities.
Now we just need living paintings, item frames and a few other things
the visible frustration on alex's face as DJ continues to address Beeper by the wrong name
19:14 Victim, The Chosen One, The Dark Lord, The Second Coming, Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, Purple: are we a joke to you?
I found 4 refrences 1. how green defeats cow is a portal reference 2. the end portal frame ability is a spot reference (into the spider verse) 3. Cobweb is spider man reference 4. The villager in a pot is a getting over it reference
The lucky block staff is like Godzilla, has 4 stages of evolution with each stage getting ridiculously stronger
Oh you mean shin Godzilla?
That's real deep-

Welp, it's official. The stickfigures went from lawfull good to chaotic nuetral. Could it be possible that they become anti-heroes?
I'd say they're chaotic good, since chaotic neutral is more self centered and do what they can to have some fun. The stickfigures like to have fun, but they also care about other people and try their best not to cause too much trouble! Red was just a biiiit too curious haha
I mean, they litteraly defeated a god trying to protect itself and its world for a staff. They killed many endeman in a speed run that were just vibing that alan made actual people. They killed bees they befriended, killed a chicken that was trying to killed them that would probably not be able to do anything, and used a child as a weapon. Also, they knocked out their teacher only for a bit of food. Pretty much, they went from lawfull good to chaotic neutral in a few episodes. @@ServerGlitch
@@ServerGlitch red was way underrated by the community, he was only known as the herobrine guy. But now i love how they give him to a personality. As a chemistry student my fav is blue btw

AVM 33 comes out after the Actual short..and the AVM and Actual Short series's are separate anyway.
@@Fibero-Fibero69_420 uhh.. why does it matter if this came out after the short?? theres always the possibility that the short takes place after the episode.. there's no real order. and no, they are not separate, since Yellow's staff is present in several of them and I'm pretty sure both Purple and King Orange have also appeared in 1 or 2 of them. the 2 series may not directly interact with each other but I can say with high certainty that the AvM episodes do impact the Actual Shorts
@@freerobux49so by your logic the time when I take a shit in my bathroom and the time when I solve the hardest math problem in the world they are not separate because they both take place in my life. and the order I depict is date uploaded, They are separate because they take place and have context at completely different times but are in the same universe, like my scenario of me taking a shit and solving the worlds hardest math problem.

18:45 BEEPER NO!

2:16 meanwhile alan's taskbar
The bamboo fake staff is shorter here than in the official video, how did i spot this of all things
Bc they react to the earliest "completed" version of the episodes, where everything is laid out, colored, animated, all that stuff, and there's stuff bound to change, like the length of the bamboo fake staff, This is also a VERY subtle one but whilst the gang is still in ALANSPC (that's actually the name of the computer, saw it in AVA 5), whilst the camera is scrolling towards blue before he throws a 1s swiftness X potion, red is static whilst the camera scrolls but in the uploaded version where everything is final
The Second Coming has unlocked AUTONOMOUS..ULTRA INSTINCT! 13:22
I kind of said that the main antagonist of this episode is the most powerful character in the lore mainly due to the fact that it did so much damage within a minute I even believe it to be stronger than King Orange, the dark Lord and victim

You know, Ex-villain Orange would've been mind-blown and speechless from this whole experience.
I think there should be an official mod including all of the stuff they've shown thus far. I think that'll sell well

That's why I love these animations, so much detail
For some reason the AvG videos always get recommended to me, but never the stuff on Alan's actual channel. How about adding a link to the original video in the description to help out people having the same issue?
2:31 in the actual video the bamboo is longer. I can’t believe I noticed that
1:46 I thought that same thing! That stuff would be awesome to play around with!
Witb DJ saying the staffs that each stick figures has represent their past make sense. Second has a sculk sensor to represent him taming the warden in ep 26. Red has minecraft head to represent him being being possed by minecraft in the first episode and ep 30. Blue has a berwing stand to show his love with his drugs and being good to make potions. Yellow has redstone block since he is the best with redstone, making machines, and hacking alan to help defeat the Dark Lord. Green has a end portal block since him and Blue went to the end with purple and almost died. Also R.I.P BEEPER
19:00 thanks alan
