Props to Greg for sharing his story with such vulnerability! So glad to hear that he had community supporting him in tough times.
Teddy. This is the best interview I've ever watched on your channel! Thank you for bringing light to real people and real stories.
Absolutely! ❤
I think Teddy may have stumbled on a niche content opportunity. We love good watch stories. This video was absolutely perfect.
This is why I love Teddy, no advertisement of his own shop, no showcasing, letting the story be told. this is why this is the best watch channel on youtube. Nothing but love for watches.
He used to interrupt everytime he knew what the interviewed was going to say to show he knew already. It is better know.
@@simonrano8072good to hear
I like how Teddy lets the guest talk. Doesn't interrupt and lets him tell his story.
To remain a grateful person after something like that happening is testament to this man’s character. It’s people like this that we all should look up to. Thank you Teddy for letting this man tell his story.
Well I did not expect a watch video to make me cry. Greg seems like a good man and I love how the community looked after him and this family.
As a retired Air Force officer and retired federal employee with Homeland Security, thank you for focusing on this dedicated agent's story and his watch collection.
Thank You for your service Sir ❤❤
That’s it. I’m getting a Panerai That’s all there is to it. Legendary group of people who supported this man The best story about a watch I’ve ever heard
i will also get a panerai in the future the community is crazy
Never wanted one before. Might be in a few years, but I'm definitely going to get one now
Considered panerai few times Now definitely getting one
I'm with you on that one. Totally bowled over by this episode.
Same here - definitely getting one. Never liked Panerai's design, but there is more to them than just keeping time after seeing this.
Greg is a gentleman and has been running red bar Chicago from its beginning! He works a lot for the community in the Windy City. Thanks for this great interview Teddy
I'm not crying, you're crying😭... what an incredible story. Sadness and love. Moments in friendship from a community that really rallied for one. That's the stuff Teddy. Thanks to Greg for sharing his story and to Teddy for opening this window for all of us to see.
You're* Like seriously though, can NO ONE spell anymore???
I’m with you guys. Incredible story, collection and man.
The fact that Teddy didn't start crying is making me wonder about him.
@phunkdoctaspock I'm with you on the spelling thing but this particular video deserves a little less bickering in the comment section.
You’re is correct. Meaning you are. Like you’re an idiot. If he had written your crying, it would have been in reference to the crying that you have been doing.
I feel lucky to be able to call Greg a friend, no matter how many times I hear his story I get teary eyed. #RedBarCrew
Did they catch the shooter?
@@davec4224 the shooter is serving time, but wasn’t found guilty due to mental defect. He’s been committed to a state mental facility for 40 years

I came here out of curiosity to know more about government agents' watches, and I heard the most touching story, a story of love, courage, generosity, passion and brotherhood. Thank you so much Greg for sharing that story, and Teddy for making this amazing video.
Ah finally. The Monster makes an appearance. And a very apt one with the nature of the owner. The story with the Panerai was deeply tragic and hard to hear. Coupled with the cancer, Grey's been through a lot just as a person and I hope he remains strong for himself and his children. We absolutely LOVE this series, Teddy. Don't ever stop doing this - we're here for every single one of it. Much love from Malaysia!
People who work these jobs come off so gentle and polite! Edit: More of these types of interviews please Teddy! No one else is doing it like this. The reviewing the specs of a single watch format is oversaturated.
Agreed. I zone out when I start hearing lug width and case diameter blah blah blah. Very impersonal so we need more of the human element now.
With all the darkness in this world I can understand their need to have a personality that's gentle
nobody undertsands the violence it takes to become getle in these lines of work..
This man's story put tears in my eyes. I'm sorry for his loss. It was one of your best interviews.
Bro look good with no hair. Greetings from Ethiopia!
I have never commented on your Teddy, but this interview, this conversation is something incredible, which made an incredible impression on me, and lying in suffering in my bed, in illness, learning to walk from the beginning, as an enthusiast of the world of watches, I will tell you that it was something special, so optimistic at the end giving strengtch to other people out there. Thank you for that, Merry Christmas everyone
I hope you're doing well Paul and your situation improves a little each and every day. God bless.
Paul I hope this finds you well, or at least comfortable. I just am getting back to speed after basically spending the winter bedridden with an illness that completely baffled doctors. Then one very astute doctor figured it out. I was hopeless but now have new life. I know your situation is likely different than mine. But I do know the isolation and exhaustion you’re feeling and just want to send you some prayers of understanding and strength. Keep your faith. Sending you healing love from Detroit❤️
This is the most popular Panerai story... I've heard about this story a few years ago... I'm just so blown away when I reached the end and realized this was the man in the Panerai story... Thank you, Teddy... I actually shed a tear due to this.
This is one of the most touching interviews I’ve ever listened to. Never would have expected to hear something so tragic and then something so uplifting from a watch video.
Your Collector's Talk is a great concept, Teddy. It kind of pops our watch enthusiast's bubble, takes the watch fascination on the road and let all the great watch stories unfold. Keep ’em coming, please. Love your channel!
By far the most inspiring video i have seen on this channel. I appreciate how Greg expressed so much kindness and resilience and how Teddy was able to make this interview happen while remaining so amble and respectful. Blessing
Another collector who was influenced by their appearance in the movies. I was always distracted by the copious amounts of explosions and gunfire to notice what Stallone or Arnie was wearing on their wrists, but this series has shown me how movies popularized and got so many people interested in watches.
I started noticing them because I got into watches. Now I’m always curious and I get an itch to add to my collection when I see it on screen.
you can tell he's a legit watch collector who has great stories from each timepiece he buys. the same could not be said about those fashion youtubers who just rent in order to make a video about their "collection" so they can have some cred from the watch nerds. 🤣
I didn’t think I would be crying when I started watching this! Great interview.
Wow! What an interview… I was holding back tears as I was watching this. This man has experienced something so horrible but the story that follows is one of the best ones I have ever heard. This is Panerai’s marketing golden ticket moving forward. Hope they make something of it
It’s said before, but this is the most touching conversation about watches and watch collecting i have ever seen. Great story, Teddy, also because you let the man speak without interrupting and drawing attention to yourself. This is about more than watches, this is about life. Cheers!
I never knew a watch video would make me cry. Greg’s story is so touching and you can see the love for his family through his stories and watches.
My favorite watch-related episode ever. Thanks so much to both of you for sharing this story with the community
I couldn't holding my tears.. What a great guy.. So we should pick our watches if we like them ,no matter what other people think, cause life is short and also every watch has a story behind it.. Wish all the people to be happy and healthy. Greetings from Greece. 😊
Ακομα και δω ρε φίλε Ελλάδα! Να σαι καλά αδερφέ.
If Teddy ever goes missing, it's because he insulted this guys collection
BAWHAHA
That is a crazy comment 😂
@@ephraimchama4756 just so we all know 😂
Hahaha 😂
He probably does have a very particular set of skills…
The timing on this video right before Christmas is great, great example of people being great to each other after tragedy. Great video.
Outstanding interview, Teddy. Great guest with a very moving story. Just shows how watches can bring joy into your life just like a good friend.
Wow, what a story. I am sorry for the loss, but what an amazing experience came out of such a tragedy. Big respect to all people involved here.
Amazing interview, great guy, what a life story. Such a nice, humble, but tough character. Great job Teddy.
What an incredible story, wow. Well-done, Teddy, as always. Merry Christmas to you and the team!
Just wow. Possibly the most memorable and meaningful 30m of content I’ve ever watched on KZhead. Greg, thank you for sharing your collection and your story- and Teddy, thank you for doing these interviews. I love all of the “standard” watch content out there including yours, but conversations like this are so needed and appreciated.
I enjoyed this guy and his watch collection. Thanks for letting him do the talking. Just as cool as the stunt guy who dumped all his watches out of a bag onto the desk Well done for picking true enthusiasts with nice watches and good stories. Great to everything from citizen to Vacheron
Wonderful collection and a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing, Teddy.
Teddy, thanks for inviting Gregg to this episode and for allowing him to tell his incredible life-story to all of us who follow your channel. One of my great pastor/mentors told me to always tell the story. It helps people understand what others go through in life. Again, thanks!
Absolutely loved this. I’ve been killing downtime on deployments with videos like this one, and I was not expecting in the slightest so be so touched by Greg’s story but holy cow, what a stand up guy. It’s people like him that make people like me proud to serve our country, and ultimately grateful for folks like Greg to be looking after our communities on the home front while we’re away. The Paneri community sounds like a bunch of saints, and at the same time I completely get it. A man like Greg is worth going to the ends of the earth for to show your appreciation. Thank you again Teddy.
Thank you Teddy for bringing class and integrety in the Watch community❤🎉🎉
Teddy's camera work makes every watch look stunning
Okay that Panerai story is amazing.
I've known Greg for a long time now. The stories told in this interview really touched my heart. Thanks, Teddy, for sharing him with the world. Much love to you and the family Greg!!!
Greg reminds me of my father, albeit he has a much more expansive collection than my old man does, but there is a certain sincerity and joy he shows that one can’t help but see on his face when he talks about his experiences, the good and bad. I truly appreciate the vulnerability and honesty about his difficulties with illness, or tragedy in general. Also, this is an incredibly touching reminder of the profound importance that the ministry of presence plays on the lives of people around us. Sometimes that invite to a random party might be so much more than just an invitation to that person, and that a little compassion often goes a long way. Great content, Teddy. I always like your various lists and informative videos, but these intimate one-on-one conversations are truly what I love about your channel. (Plus when you absolutely SHAT ALL OVER and walked into MVMT’s HQ and said it to their faces too was truly amazing docuseries work ❤)
Very moving video. Greg certainly has been through hard times. What a true gent and lovely family man. Certainly tough watches for an even touger fella. Well done Greg. Great video Teddy.💯👍
Love this video Teddy. And love this 007’s collection. Every piece has a story. This is the kind of collection I want to see. Not some rich dude showing off his hype pieces without any knowledge of the horological context of the watches
Wow what a sad and heartfelt life story . How a group of Panerai watch collectors can show compassion ,support and love! Greg I hope you will find peace! Teddy great job!
Most touching watch story I ever heard indeed. Kudos to both of you for posting it online.
This is the type of watch conversation we long for. Amazing work on this series. Thank you, Teddy!
This is my favorite series. Listening to people of different walks of life take you through some of their life story and how each watch represents portion of it is wonderful. This is the heart of the hobby.
I came for a chilled collection video and now I'm crying... bless you Greg, your wife, your new friends and thanks Teddy, as usual.... what a phenomenal work you do ❤
I wasn’t expecting that ending. Very profound and touching.
Please keep doing these. What a profound story about the power of certain watch communities. Makes me want to learn more about Panerai.
What an incredible human being and a wonderful interview! One of the best watch interviews I’ve ever seen! 🙏🏽
The best advert for Panerai of all time……stunning interview.
This a beautiful story, very moving. I love the sentiment that behind every watch there is a person. This is why I love watches, they are more than objects, they are extensions of us, the stories we hold and the lives we lead. Thank you Teddy, again, a beautiful episode.
What a great interview with a down to earth kind of watch collector. Love the interviews with collectors that are average folks. I use the term loosely. Thanks for this content!!! I like this one especially as I am a government employee as well. BTW. The human factor was heartwarming.
Thank you for making this video Teddy and thank you Greg for that story. It is genuinely an inspiration for humanity, let alone watch enthusiasts. This is the true soul of the hobby, memories throughout time. Bless ye and Merry Christmas
My goodness! I haven't watched every interview you've done but by far this was the best one! What a story. God bless Greg and his children.
What an incredible guest (and video) Teddy! I love seeing these collection videos not merely for the "cool collection" factor, but to hear the lived experiences that accompany them. I believe it's less about acquiring the collection, and more about building an incredible legacy to leave behind once you're gone. You're really hitting the nail on the head by allowing people with such rich lives share their stories, because that's what it's all about. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
This one hit hard. Thanks so much for this Greg, truly inspirational.
This is incredible. Hats off to Greg for being a great storyteller, and for having the strength to get through this tragedy with his family. Teddy - those who let the interviewee shine are rare these days. Well done.
Amazing piece Teddy. Thank you Greg for opening your heart and your stories. Truly hit hard and as a guy who’s similar in age I was struck by your stories and what shines through is your perseverance and love for others when it would have been so easy to turn cynical and hardened. You prove a “tough guy” is much more than just about physical toughness.
Went in thinking i'll be watching a watch collection interview, ended up listening a story about kindness and love. Thank you Greg and Teddy for this great session!. "Goosebumps", Teddy couldn't said it better.
Great story!!! Great collection and a great guy!! Thank you Teddy for having him share that amazing collecting journey
This might be top 5 teddy videos. Keep up the great work man!
I'm sorry because my English is not good enough to express correctly all the things I felt watching at this video. It was really touching me. Thx to both.
Oh my I was going to say 'what a great story!' but actually there are a lot of stories inside this really awesome watch collection video! Greg is such a wholesome guy and a true collector. I'm so glad he had some close people around him during his dark periods of life and I really want to highlight that exactly THIS is what we should focus on more. Last part of the video brought me to tears. But tears of relief and happiness. If there are still guys like those incl. Greg, life's hope isn't gone yet.
Thank you for sharing your story! All the best to you and your family
Love this episode Teddy! More of this. I love seeing interviews of collectors with just interesting stories. Even more so, not more rich celebriity interviews with all Rolex/AP/RM, but just interesting people everywhere!
I don't know what I was expecting when I read the title to this video but it wasn't this - I'm blown away - grown man here with tears on my cheeks. Amazing. Extraordinary. No other "watch channel" compares.
What a story and episode. Brought tears to my eyes! Thank you for sharing your story and really enjoyed your collection.
All the best Greg to you & your children. I’m so sorry for the loss of your wife. Thank you for telling your story. Brought tears to my eyes. Teddy, you are truly a class act in this hobby of ours. Whilst many other KZheadrs focus on nonsense & typically Rolex related speculation without much else to add, you produce real quality. You & your business deserve every success. Happy Christmas.
What a great storyteller :D
This was a good vid That last watch story made it an incredible one Tears streaming listening to that
One of the best uploads, Teddy! Really touching stories from Greg! Very heartfelt. This is the very essence of why we watch collectors collect watches. It's for the stories and meaning behind these wonderful timepieces!
Love these types of videos. Have a great Christmas and new year Teddy.
Good collection👍👍. As a military n x nypd watch collector guy, Salute to u for sharing ur story🙏
Thanks Teddy. Thank you Greg for sharing your story. Truly touching. Merry Christmas!
Major props to this guy being this vulnerable and real
Thank you Teddy for this type of content. Much love from Cebu Philippines.
All of us watching along and then these stories of Greg's life challenges unfold. The compassion and kindness extended to him in the darkest hours is a testament to those kind people who went out of their way to comfort him. Teddy as always natural and dignified in his delivery. The film confirms that there is hope in humanity still.
What an amazing man... I'm touched by his families story, tragic but uplifting. Happy Christmas to all of you and much love to this special man and his family. ❤❤❤
Heard Greg's story through other KZhead channels but to actually hear it from the man himself just brought a tear to my eye. Great interview Teddy!
Wow ! To see how positive he is even though life has dealt him a mess up hand is amazing. I love to see people like him . Bc in reality it helps me realize how grateful I should be . Awesome teddy !!
Just.. wow. What a legend, and I can’t imagine there were many dry eyes after the Panerai story. A first class interview/chat. Actually the most engaging one I’ve ever watched. Thank you both
Teddy, really well interviewed. The ability to ask questions in the right spot is good but the ability to simply listen and not chip in is especially. Good interview mate, well done
I bought my Panerai because of this man story. Best interview yet Teddy keep them coming.
My wife bought me that BlueAngels Citizen shortly after we were engaged also. Was my grail when I was in college. Still have it, hope I always will. I really enjoyed the stories, thank you for sharing Greg. Favorite of your video's yet Teddy.
Fantastic video....Vacheron is the pick of the bunch for me. Stunning. And what a harrowing story. I'm so sorry you had to face this in your life. All the best to you and your family. I'm also being drawn to Panerai. Very similar to the one that the guys gifted you
Amazing interview and story , many people were in tears watching I bet . The most emotional watch video on you tube
Wow wow wow! What an incredible journey and story Greg had to tell. I still have tears in my eyes. As a newer collector this made me appreciate the hobby and community so much more.
Some awesome pieces, really great background story to them. Very down to earth guy 👍. Devastating what happened to his wife!!!! Great video Teddy! 👌👊
Interesting collector talk! My dad was an Explorer 1016 guy, but I when I wanted a Rolex, I was declined from even being on the AD waiting list 😂. What a nutty company 🙄
The most touching story. Greg is very fortunate to be in such a great caring community. What a great group of people!
Wow, I was in tears during this video. Amazing how this little pieces can impact someones lives and create that kind of community
Damn the level of production is getting insane
What a touching story! It brought tears... Good job, Teddy and Greg!
One of the most interesting heartfelt and meaningful discussions I've ever seen around and about a watch collection and its owner. Well done Teddy. This was real.
Amazing stories. Panerai just moved to the top of my wishlist.
