so much funner that way
Same way i speak about El Salvador
"Confronting the devil in all his forms" I love how she said that so confidently 😂
The “bad cousin who teaches you things” bit always makes me laugh because in a large Greek family I definitely had *that* cousin who was an absolute hooligan, albeit a total badass when they were younger. I didn’t have older siblings so she was the closest persin to teach me some street smarts. It’s always fun to watch this ep when a bunch of my family so we can all side-eye at that cousin, who like Gloria, once she settled down and got married is now less of a hooligan but still a bad ass cousin who is definitely the person to call at 2am when you need to bury a body.
cute story but the ending is um... questionable
I want that...even tho I tell my friends they can always call me at 2 a.m. if they need to bury a body...🤣
“I am the cousin”!
@@amyboyd5760 that line gets me every time!!🤣
U wot m8?
“The exotic stranger who just popped into our lives out of nowhere? I’ve had my suspicions about her for years.” Strangely the most lucid statement Luke ever gave.
Jay's reaction always priceless lol
1:18 is my favorite “Why do you say crazy stuff like that?! That isn’t true, is it?”
6:09 was amazing. His worried face and her cold as ice "Never" lmao.
Gloria's chaotic backstory is exactly how my alter ego would live
Gloria: "I come from a neighborhood with a lot of prostitutes."
I want a prequel spin-off about Gloria's life before meeting Jay.
I’ve been saying this she CARRIED
Watch griselda 😂
"I am the cousin..." 🤣🤣🤣
As someone from Barranquilla myself, who happens to be one of the biggest and most developed cities in Colombia, I don't know if I should feel offended or laugh my ass off because this shit is hilarious 🤣🤣
I take it as Gloria exaggerating things as the situation calls for it
The actress is from Barranquilla, but Gloria never specifies where in Colombia is she from, I know they stereotyped and exaggerates a lot of her Latin stories but violence in the 80/90s in Colombia wouldn't be weird, and the character probably would come from a dangerous small village
@@laurispinni4890 no, Gloria does say she is from Barranquilla in an episode. In 4:46 her sash says miss Barranquilla, so we know she grew up in a village near Barranquilla.
I think she is trying to show the stereotypes that people have towards Colombia and Latino women. I’m Colombian myself and have family there and I find everything that she says as hilarious .
@@isabella-zy7tg let me call you a wambulance 😂
"Confronting the devil in all his forms. 😀" Always gets me! 😂
She's a perfect example of "beautiful" people who can get anything and get away with anything .
For real. "No, I won. Imagine all this when I was eighteen."
As she should.
“ what I can’t know street value” 😂😂😂
"Do you know what a doll is in my village? An apple on a fork."
In my village if you didn't have one of these you couldn't call yourself a drog lord. 💀
What ep is that from?
I love when tv shows just pick a character and decide to constantly have offhand one line references to their insane past (think Andy Bernard, Phoebe Buffay, Robin Scherbatzky)
Twyla in Schitt's Creek
Jane on "Coupling" "Oh, I love pretending to be another person. One time, on holiday, I pretended to be someone else. You know, I could get away with anything when I was my crazy twin, Jane." "Umm... But, YOU'RE Jane..." "Bbbbb... Long story, kinda stuck."
Alexis Rose from Schmitt's Creek.
She had the best one-liners of the show, and Sofia Vergara's delivery was also always spot on .
"confronting the demon in all of his forms 😌" a true queen 👸
That's not even what she said...
@@anthonycunningham8116yes it is
@@canadianmoth No she said "the devil" not the demon...
@@calistafalcontail lol k
the "I am the cousin" made me lol so hard. Also her favorite hobbie being "confronting the devil" gives Morticia vibes and I love it
2:38 "Gun to my head: Cheddar, Swiss, Gouda" ""As someone who has actually had a gun to her head, cheese is not what they're going to ask about."" 😂😂🤣🤣 I actually laughed out loud irl way to hard at this line lmao 😆😂
My favorite line in the entire show lol
6:47 "Mrs Rivera's still alive" had me dying 🤣
The combo of Gloria's stories and Jay's reactions are the greatest comedy on the show😂
Jay's face in the interviews when she tells her stories is priceless
Sometimes, watching the episode of Phil being afraid of Gloria makes me wonder how far back they had this episode or something similar planned. Unless that younger Luke is a different actor
Nope, same actor from s1e1
@@mariakhan7986 do you know if it deleted scene or planned?
@@bobbi7990 it's same scene of Luke from season 4 episode They just added Gloria and Jay part
My Latin American family would get scandalized about the stories they hear about the US and wondered why we'd live somewhere so dangerous. Perspective.
1:49 killed me. I was expecting the mother to be hiding something. At the very least a gun. But Gloria's exclamation! I'm wheezing!
"Either you work this out or you kill each other " The only thing I relate too
I mean if my math is right, she grew up in Escobar's Colombia. Not surprised she can handle herself.
I love how her accent completely vanished when she said, "confronting the devil in all it's forms"lol
By far she and Phil Dunphy were my FAVOURITE characters! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😭
Same
Gloria reminds me of how Faust lost his soul," please stay, thou art so fair."
Oh no you did not mention Faust 😩
As a Filipino, this is somewhat relatable
As a Latino even more. Most of her stories are so my family lol
yeah, we filipinos are considered the asian hispanics so im not surprised to some of her antics 😂😂😂
Indeed! AHAHAHAHAHA
Well i haven't seen any other Latino say this, but ¡¡¡Primo!!!
yeah, lol esp the part where she gave em knives and told em to either talk it out or kill each other. that's exactly what my mom tells me and my sister whenever we have bad fights
‘Is there paperwork or something that proves this’ 😂
Ayyy same name same mind
@@nataliaaa6604 ayyy!!!!
3:16 it's cute how Mitch reacted to Gloria's "doll" 😔💗
Gloria has the traits of an action film main character that now wants a normal life.
"The Gloria Ramirezing" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sofia I knew of since I was a child but Ed O'Neill became my tv dad. Had never really seen him act before and this show cemented him as one of my favorite of all time. God I will cry when he passes
I suggest watching Married With Children. He is the tv dad in that too. That was his first big hit series. This is his 2nd which honestly just makes him a GOAT imo
Love how gloria dad is look like a lot Jay
That was the joke of the episode, how they could have been twins lol
Seriously... her accent is not that bad. I can fully understand her.
She exaggerates her accent and loud voice to play into the stereotype
I'd be surprised if someone couldn't understand her
@@rakadoni8403 I can't, sometimes, but English is not my first language
My family is Columbian/Puerto Rican and they can’t stand her b/c she’s exaggerating her accent hahaha. We’re thinking the producers love it, find it sexy and they kept going with it. But we cant listen to her here any longer
@@aniturcli7 aw yeah fair play
It’s crazy how they revealed that Gloria was actually an undercover hitman hiding in plain sight
My goal in life is to be a turkish Gloria. I mean, the backstory and family history is there!

There are enough turkish Glorias messing up Germany with their primitive Clan families already. Dont become a migrant.
I would love a spin off for Gloria‘s past, Sofia still looks so young, so she could even play her
Gloria was basically just a long audition for Vergara to play Griselda
"As someone who has actually had a gun to her head, cheese is not what they're going to ask about."
I would listen to a 1000hr long podcast of Gloria talking about herself in Colombia - why isn't that a thing yet???
As a Filipino, 5:55 resonated a lot with me.
Hahahaha! Yes 😂 had the same experience 😂
Mom: *whips out two knives* AYAN MAGPATAYAN KAYO!
HAHA samee
Her deliveries tho 😂
"I am the cousin" i can relate to this 😂
Manny saying “Here we go with the village” always cracks me up 😂 Manny is AMERICANIZED 😂
Is two cultures joining and her realizing how really abusive her home was and due to being single how much her kid was actually high functioning. That's why she talks to him the way she does. That's her lil man y'all.
He's not Americanized. He's American. Manny was born in Florida.
"How my mother handled my two brothers. It's either, you two work this out (stabs two knives into the table) or you kill each other!"
“I have time for one of my old hobbies, confronting the devil in all his forms”
''I have time for one of my old hobbies. Confronting the devil on all his forms :D'' The casual smile is taking me OUT
I want them to make a young sheldon type of show about gloria
gloria is the main character, the ringleader we all need to take down the ignorant fools
"Which cousin was this" "... I am the cousin" 😂😂😂😂
I love Gloria with all my heart. I am also happy that this bond made me meet Sofia.
"Papa was so handsome" 🤣🤣
I have to say I feel bad for her Her tough past made her stronger but she didn't have to go through that hell At least she found a good family at the end
"Are you aware that a remarkable number of your stories end with a family member being carried off by a giant bird?"
5:46 Jay's reaction to that was just too great XD
“I am the cousin” iconic 😂😂
I love how she talks about the emerald mine while wearing green stones
In an alternate universe, Gloria Delgado and Alexis Rose met and outsmarted an entire cartel in Colombia.
1:43 is by far one of my favourite moments on the show. always make me laugh hysterically
In the first scene I was like who’s this young guy Phil is talking to then as soon as he spoke I was like shit that’s luke.
I started bingeing the series for the first time not too long, and I was everyone growing up slowly wasn't too big of surprise, but whenever I see the flashbacks and stuff, I'm like 😮😮 (especially the younger children)
Gloria is GLORIOUS. Chant with me y’all
Gloria should’ve had a spin-off with her past life in Colombia
“confronting the devil in all his forms 😁”
Gloria’s taste in cars in timeless. A Corishe will always be a beautiful car.
as a colombian myself this is accurate
As someone with parents in Tijuana, same
Someone should take this clip and use it as a template for Gloria's prequel series
Sure these jokes are funny but being raised by a filipina mom, Gloria knowing street market value of heroin hits close to home 🤣.
3:30 Precise moment that the showrunners of Griselda were absolutely convinced that Sofia Vergara could convincingly play a drug lord.
She carried this show on her back
Were we can lie and lie and lie and lie without feeling once ounce of guilt. "You don´t lie to me though, do you?" "NEVER".....LOL
No cause her chaotic reveals of her past reminds me of whenever my dad reveals anything about his life in Honduras
1:10 Gloria’s delivery on “I am the cousin” is just hysterical!
0:58 is my fav moment ever 😭😭 “I am the cousin..”
Gloria had and has a very colorful and eventful up bringing
Haunting beauty, great comic talent.
6:00 how every hispanic parents deal with kids fighting
This is one of my favourite sitcom stable. Every sitcom has that one character.
I haven't reached the end of the series yet and I loved it so much that I don't want it to end. But if it starts again, I sit and watch it every day.
“.. I have time for one of my old hobbies - confronting the devil in all his forms.” 🤭
She is hilarious!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
omg Haley’s face in that last part 😭
That doll looks like Gargamel 🤣 Love Gloria more & more ❤
She probably grew up in a cartel controlled area. And was courted by drug lords which is why she knows how to use a gun. And she might even have dealed once.
I've never seen an episode until now and i'm binging the first season
"I am the cousin" ☠☠
