In this video we attempt to cut off around 2 tonne of salmon from a 25 tonne school on Tooregullup (Trigelow) Beach in Western Australia which commences approximately 24 km south of Point Ann in the Fitzgerald National Park.. In the video we can see 7 sharks circling the school and come over to the dinghy to enquire!
How are they best eaten? Amazing work!
We just do them in flour and egg, then cooked on the barbie - such an underrated fish, especially for the price!
Was this Hamelin ?
Trigelow Beach, just East of Bremer Bay
@@OceanLifeAU > Cheers . I flew Tiddly Tysoe along the coast from Pt Anne to Albany many times in the 80's during Salmon season . Delivered messages to the various camps along the way .
How come you dont use an outboard?
Bit more traditional and environmentally friendly to row - we could have the platform off the back over the top of the outboard but there's just no need. The whole operation is a bit more lightweight these days.
