In this video we attempt to cut off around 2 tonne of salmon from a 25 tonne school on Tooregullup (Trigelow) Beach in Western Australia which commences approximately 24 km south of Point Ann in the Fitzgerald National Park.. In the video we can see 7 sharks circling the school and come over to the dinghy to enquire!

    • We just do them in flour and egg, then cooked on the barbie - such an underrated fish, especially for the price!

    • @@OceanLifeAU > Cheers . I flew Tiddly Tysoe along the coast from Pt Anne to Albany many times in the 80's during Salmon season . Delivered messages to the various camps along the way .

  • How come you dont use an outboard?

    • Bit more traditional and environmentally friendly to row - we could have the platform off the back over the top of the outboard but there's just no need. The whole operation is a bit more lightweight these days.
