Surco Model # 103H, painted and installed onto our Ford E350 Cargo Van. Step by step instructions. Ladder feels solid once installed and no issues for anyone up to 200 lbs. I would think that for folks over 250 lbs. this ladder may not feel as sturdy.
January 2021 update: we've had it on the van for about 7 months now and paint is holding up great.

Great video! We were just talking about a ladder for the van! We will have to clean the solar panels on our DIY topper of our 2012 Econoline van project. I like how the paint job turned out! Nicely done!
After watching your video, I did some more research. I ended up on the Surco website and they did have an option for a black finish. More expensive of course but I ordered a black one for my van.

How's it holding up? Only thing I could think about faulting you on is whether or not you used galvanized screws so they don't rust.
Satin clear coat multiple layers would calm down the scratching
Can I put the ladder on the side of my van?
What spray paint do you use? Whenever I use spray paint it chips off and scratches really easily
Try using a primer first than a spray paint maybe two or three layers and than a layer of clear coat or sealer. It should last longer that way
