This is a match that you need to watch to see that it was Morocco who controls the game, the highlights simply didn't tell the full picture. Absolutely deserved to win.

@@olukayodetemitope4771 Possession is not the same as controlling the game, Morocco executed its game plan perfectly, allowing Spain to keep a totally pointless possession as they barely found spaces throughout the match while counter attacking dangerously at times. Morocco forced the penalty shoot-out and they were ready for it. Very well played.
Well played Morocco and very happy for them, but you really can't say they controlled the game. It's immediately obvious from watching the match and seeing all associated stats.

@tiki taka what control? you may say it was a close game i would have given you the benefit of doubt but to say controlled it? nah Morocco was playing it very safe and steady nothing too flashy like spain it may even look boring to most casual viewers understandably but it's a solid strategy with an unshakable mental fortitude and calmness from the players backing it up
