  • I went to see the little mermaid 2 days ago and I know why Halle Bailey was cast as Ariel, she was absolutely phenomenal! Her voice is incredible! She definitely captured the essence of Ariel🧜🏾‍♀️ can’t wait for it to come on Disney+ so I can rewatch it over and over!

    • Yeah as a black woman, she’s made a lot of non black children a lot of non black women happy as well, this was for all of us. I saw so many little kids and families at the theaters and we all clapped.

  • I never cared that a black actress was cast as the new Ariel. I never saw the issue. This girl had the goods. Her singing voice is ridiculously good. Plus, she is good at meeting and greeting the child fans which is equally crucial. I give her all the credit in the world.
