He is a great drummer, and TBH he seems to be an easier guy to work with than Silveria. During the recording of Issues David was a no-show a lot of the times, that is why J.D recorded some of the drums for that album. I would say Ray is underrated, but drummers never seem to get the respect they deserve so I would say mostly all drummers aren't appreciated as much as they should be. I believe David kind of got screwed over though creatively after Head left and they resorted to working with song writers, I think that is one of the main reasons he split, he wanted to write as a band, that's what he was used to and when that magic was lost he just seemed to disappear. Comparing albums like SYOTOS and TALITM they sound like two completely different bands.

All this "Ray sucks, David is the best!" stuff really irritates me. No, Ray doesn't have the same type of style David had, but the guy plays his heart out in every show. He said it himself that he plays what he feels. Why would you want to see a show where everything is played just like the recording? That would be pretty boring to me. Ray adds stuff to songs to make them his interpretation of them, not to be a show off or anything. Plus, David is one of the biggest douche bags on the earth. He talks bad about his old friends all the time. I highly doubt if KoRn were to let Ray go, which I hope they never do, he would ever talk bad about them. Lay off the man, apparently they loved home enough to bring him on to play with them. Otherwise, they wouldn't have picked him ever. Rant over.

Might not be David up there, but the groove of classic Korn is there. I don't care what people say about Ray, he hasn't disappointed me yet. FTL was a very commercial record, but it was still very much like it's predecessors. Dead Bodies Everywhere wouldn't have stuck out on Life Is Peachy.
***** David Silveria suckss 18 years listened a Korn
EyeShotFirst LMFAO
No look at heads religious tats
Ray is an amazing drummer i saw them in 2016 (5th time seeing them) Head was having trouble with his guitar pedals so Ray went on like a 10 min drum solo and omg it was the best solo ever he's too underated as a drummer
I would have been glued to it listening to school being tossed at me
First time I saw Ray play live was Bakersfield 2010. He did not stop drumming from the open to the close of the set, even when everyone else went backstage for a break. It was an awesome introduction to the new drummer.
Yes he is very good, I saw Korn live and they played a bass/drum solo it was really cool.
This band is Legend.
They are immortal.
One of the best Korn songs ever.
Ray is such a killer drummer.
He is. Word up!!
He sure is! A silent MVP.
Nah.
had no idea family values is still going on, that's awesome.
Chad Miller, go back to school you unemployed turd
@@Grimeyhoob Tf did chad miller do
@@kupk6125 nothing. I was just trolling sorry. This is 3 years old. I am no longer a troll

The crowd had absolutely no appreciation for the efforts it took to play this song.... At all!! Im pissed!
Having seen #korn live a total of 3 times I'd definitely say KoRn sure puts on 1 hell of an impressive concert. I mostly like the overall style guitar playing they used for this song.
What an experience! Each musician is a master of his tool and together, they make my ears want it LOUDER
We are discussing this song in music lessons in school. It goes much deeper than most might think
+Janniboy “abcnon” lp What does it mean??
+Daynbren well it is not the meaning of it but most people just listen to it for entertainment and don't think about what impact it has on you and by what it is caused
Janniboy lp Yes, I can see how ppl don't see the music they're listening to can impact them in a certain without them noticing themselves. Good point!
Ozkurl You kinda do bc the lyrics tell a more than just the story story than the title, it expands on it. JD himself has stated what the song's about anyway though.
Great performance! The KoRn is A L I V E
First time I heard this song live, very bad ass! One of my favorite songs of all time
There is no Band that sounds anything like Korn and that's the best thing a band can do I have no idea what you'd call the guitar and Fieldies unique bass The guitar is truly eerie You have the basic riffs but some of the sounds they create are truly incredible
me gusta cuando el vocalista se cruza de brazos❣❣
Munky is so awesome!
This song is all Head
bad ass song love it
I started head banging back in the day with BS and Ozzy. Still bangin it today.
Love how fieldy has his hands in the air but you can still hear the bass being played
I didn't see anything, so I'll assume you meant the bass hits at the beginning. That was never Fieldy. It's a sample played by the drummer.
That's a bass drum that's not Fieldy even on the record. Fieldy doesn't come in until the distorted guitars start up after the intro
My favorite band of all time! I LOVE KORN - #Family values
An amazing Performance . Korn 4 life !!!
My favorite song but in all the times I've seen them live , they never played it when I was there.
they still got it!!!!!
When I first heard this song, I thought the first part was a horror game soundtrack. Later I realized how commonplace this sort of thing was for Korn.
Ray added new life to KoRn....idk what everyone is talking about
For reals
Ray helped put a different flavor to KoRn that i do really enjoy. Not a fan of his overplaying at live shows. But David's style is unique to him and David's groove really helps fieldy. Imo David and Ray are equals in their own right
David still one of soul beats of KoRn... All greatest album of KoRn david create rhythm drum so awesome
Wow,epic & perfect
Desde Argentina con el alma, aguante Korn! Hoy, mañana y siempre...
que hermosura preciosa melodia grande korn.
La mejor canción de Korn.

I went to the 20th Year anniversary of Follow the Leader..09/15/2018 here in Vegas it was fucking amazing and it happened on my birthday also!!
This song is a banger!!
Como puede un público desaprovechar de una de las mejores canciones hecha en el mundo?
2013 was an amazing year
I agree with that statement.
Korn é bom d+
Good to hear the bass finally.
ONE OF KORN'S FINEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
Korn rocked it baby!!
I hate how weak crowds in metal concerts are now
Cate I’m a retired mosher and I don’t see the fire in these kids eyes. I saw Korn last summer I didn’t come out of retirement but I was jumping up and down waiting for that familiar push. Never happened
Gotta tweet and fake-book and selfie..ok boomer.. yes I am,and back in my day,, we had better music,, a better connection.More fun..shit 2020 has sucked. I'm rambling... I'm a boomer

me loosing all my friends after asking the DJ on the party to play the song "Dad bootys everywhere"
I've often never wondered what it would look like to see Munky's lips wrapped around a mic...ever. Thanks KZhead
The guy in the cage at 2:40 behind Jon doesn't seem very excited lol. Should have given me his ticket!
Korn the best
A classic

2019!!
I miss JD wearing addidas!
Rant over.
Josh VanAtta and Silveria turned out to be a bit of a dick. May be an original member, but easily replaceable.
Because minimizing your drums is also a skill. To much show off... you might not hear it, but David did allot for the sound of Korn. It was so groovy then, Ray is not that groovy...
"Easily replaceable" lol. Somehow Ray can't reproduce original sound of the drums...he doesn't have right groove.
Music is a living thing. Just ask Jerry!
Josh VanAtta ray is technical and a percussion badass
Pasada de concierto ❤️
Cierto.
Coolest dad ever 😎
Блядь, как я это люблю. Не хватает слов!
FUCK YEAH! KORN! MUCH LOVE
El bajista tiene una actitud barbara !!!
I’m native to Colorado and I seen Korn maybe three times and each time I saw them It was amazing but Brian was the first member I meet(well not really) my cousin had invited me to a church club that she had been going to for her first communion this was also the time Brian left the band I honestly didn’t wanna go but she said it’ll be fun so I went we ended up going anyways we had a meeting with a surprise guest and and holy fucking shit it was Brian from Korn and me being a Korn fan I lost my shit I was probably the only kid in there that recognized him haha
Props to the cameramen!
Their guitars used to sound so powerful. Now they just sound like background noise.
Slapa Da bass Mon
que buen tema y que buen disco
Yeah it be awesome having a father like that.

Fuck yeah!

Dudes playing drums is fucking it all up
Te amo Jonathan Davis. 💚💛💜💙❤💖💜💓💔💝💘
Nossa estava procurando essa musica
I have seen Korn 18 times and there are always people who don’t know all their music and only activate when the popular tunes are played. Who cares? I go for my enjoyment and always rock front row and could care less if you aren’t enjoying the show as long as you don’t interfere with my enjoyment. 🤷♀️ 😊 Do what you want and stop being so judgy.
Jonathan Davis *-* muito lindo
Nice
never heard their music...never seen them before but I spent 6 months in the county jail and their name was scratched on to everything...I like it...good fuckin shit maynard….

That crowd sux. I love korn been a die hard fan for over 20 years. I think they are extremely underrated as a band and as musicians. Jon is the best vocalist by far, head and munky and the best guitar duos ever, fieldy is a great bassist and ray is a very good drummer but I think David is better. Much respect for my fellow korn fans.
I agree with you completly. I would add David slammed those drums like a mf. You can feel/hear since 1st album. Otherwise Ray is good aswell.
I personally think that this version is better than the studio version because in the little break thing they do by the 3:36 mark it does not have those stupid noises
