    • That's exactly what the Japanese card store mystery packs are all about. Sure you'll get a SR or SAR sometimes, but the house always wins. My best oripa pull was a meijin charizard card out of a vintage pack of 3 random cards(priced at 1000 yen or $7)

  • That is the very old CGC label. In those days they also had a Perfect 10 that isTODAYS pristine 10. Todays pristine 10 is a perfect card but the pristine 10 back in the day (blue label) was not 50/50 centering or a perfect card. It’s basically todays gem mint 10, which would also be a gem mint 10 in PSA as well. Just wanted to clarify. The CGC pristine 10s they hand out now (gold labels) sell for more than regular PSA 10s as well. The gold labels are 🔥🔥 as well! Just wanted to drop some knowledge by cause I know you don’t use CGC often! Keep up the excellent work rev! You the man and the OG! Love the content and God bless you and the family! Much love!

    @kristophertodd6471@kristophertodd6471Ай бұрын
    • I can assure you today’s Pristine 10 is NOT old label’s Perfect 10. Pristine 10 is… well… Pristine 10… You can outright relabel the old Pristine 10 into the new Pristine 10. They didnt change the grading scale, only the label… The Perfect 10 are gone now, so Pristine10 is their new ceiling, which can come with a tiny bit of imperfection as long as it’s still 9.5-10-10-10. And Gem Mint 10 is still the old CGC Gem Mint 9.5… Again, they didnt change the grading scale, only the label.. So you can treat Gem Mint 10 exactly as the old CGC GM9.5 or BGS Gem Mint 9.5. They came from the same scale, and apparently came quite close in Market Price too.

      @RisduduMonke@RisduduMonkeАй бұрын
    • This response couldn’t be farther from the truth but I get most people watch too much shinyvert and hate CGC and don’t know anything about them. The new pristine 10s very much took Over the same grading parameters as the old perfect 10s. There is NO allowance for imperfections in pristine 10s. They require perfect cards basically, the same parameters that were required by the PERFECT 10s of old. Also, the gem mint 10 has nothing to do with a 9.5. They have a 9.5 now that is a mint+ which has NOTHING to do with a gem mint 10. A gem mint 10 is just that, the same thing as a gem mint 10 from PSA. In fact, PSA is MORE lenient with their gem mint 10s than CGC is. So basically everything you mentioned above is a falsehood and is bad information for the public who doesn’t know any better. CGC pristine 10s now are highly regarded and are way harder to get than any 10 from PSA. I enjoy both companies equally and have no beef with either but at least give CGC the credit they deserve. If you don’t know just don’t reply.

      @kristophertodd6471@kristophertodd6471Ай бұрын
    • @@kristophertodd6471 Roflmao I cant believe someone who are so badly misinformed would call me as such. I grade with CGC, hundreds of them by now. I KNOW what I’m talking about. It’s already clear from the start how they are relabeling old 9.5 into new GM10 and old Pristine10 into New Pristine10. That’s already the clearest indicator on how the grading scale for both grades stays the same. Pristine 10 is like the Old Pristine 10, much harder to get than PSA10 for sure, but is nowhere near Perfect10s or BGS Black Label rarity. Out of 100 submissions I sent them, about 35% of them came back as Pristine10… That’s 35% rate to get Pristine. Whereas BGS Black Label and the old Perfect10s have around 5% or even less out of 100 you sent them depending on what you sent. Of course this means Pristine still a very low rate compared to PSA10s which is about 80-90% rate of getting them. But those Pristines are not Perfect10 or BGS BLs, stop misinforming people for it. And about the new 9.5 Mint+. That’s a new scale for cards which are too good to be called a Mint9 (which usually could have a glaring imperfections) but still fall short to be called Gem Mint… And It’s certainly not the old CGC Gem Mint 9.5 nor it is BGS Gem Mint 9.5 scale.
