A new page in this Altered Book Art Journal. I've lived close by a river all my life and I always think under the water is a magical place!
In this page I used:
Distress Ink Pads (Rustic Wilderness, Bundled Sage, Rusty Hinge, Stormy Sky, Unchartered Marina, Peacock Feather, Vintage Photo)
Distress Mica Spray (Tarnished Brass)
Versamark embossing ink
Stampendous embossing powder (Detail White)
Ranger embossing powder (Clear)
Inktense pencil
I hope this inspires you to get creating!

  • I turned on KZhead literally 2 minutes after you posted this and was so happy to see the next page. I will be sad when the book is finished because I so enjoy watching these pages evolve. Hope you have the next one planned in your head! 😅 I can tell how much I have learned through your process because now I can anticipate what you might be doing next on the page before you do it, and understand some things much more, which then helps me see more when I look at something, if that makes sense. I love the depth and movement you have created on this page and your grumpy old fish.   • I don't understand why you use distress ink pads? perhaps its just because you have them available and need to use them up. i like the idea of using the linen dentist plug as a texture.

  • Please tell me what kind of material or paper that was you glued down onto the pages? And did you use glue or what to make it stick? Your artwork is lovely!

    • thank you 💜 The material I used was a gauze that the dentist gave me after I'd had a tooth out, lol 😂 Hopefully you won't need that but I'm sure you can buy a small roll of gauze from a pharmacy
