Color theory plays a large role in saltwater fly-tying patterns. Subtle or overt changes in material color on the same pattern can result in completely different baitfish limitations. If you find that a pattern was working great and then suddenly stopped working, it's time to change up the colors. In this video, Coby goes into this theory and ties up one variant of his ever-popular Boogie Minnow.
