I love watching a good operator apply his/her skills, and this guy is as good as they come. Steady, concise and accurate with every move. Rocks aren't easy on equip, and he seems to be keeping it very much in mind. Plus, rocks can be hard to handle. The. Seems to have the knowledge down to a science as well. Kudos for a job well done!

Amigo, isso aí é quartzitos muito resistente. Quanto maior a escavadeira mais lenta ela vai ser, rocha não é igual terra. A produção é mais lenta mesmo, entretanto o operador parece estar com mal de Parkinson.
Hey Ihr Schlaumeier jeder guter Baggerfahrer würde sehen, dass es nicht der Fehler vom Fahrer ist, ich habe viele Cat in der Größe gefahren und ich sage Euch, dass der Cat kein Dampf mehr hat, wenn Ihr Euch, dass Video genau anschaut, seht Ihr es selbst, wie Schwer sich der tut nur die halb volle Schaufel über die Lkw Wanne zu bekommen. Würde Wetten das der schon über 10000 Betr Std hat wahrscheinlich sogar über 15000 Std. Der hat seine besten Zeiten schon hinter sich. MFG
Ich bin kein Baggerfahrer, aber ich sehe nicht, dass der Bagger schwach ist und kann seine Arbeit nicht mehr machen, wenn das so wäre, wäre dieses Problem schon längst behoben.

Interesting. It looks like the loader operator is trying to get most of the very large rock into the big dumper, and smaller rock and soil into the small dumpers. The biggest rocks are big enough to damage the little dumpers?
Drop those kind of rocks from a meter and they'll punch right through the floor and more than likely ruin the truck. Keep in mind they easily weigh like 2 tons. Also, on the first scoop into the bigger dump truck you can notice him taking some of the 'dirt' as well, just making a small bed sort of for the bigger rocks to land on
And then there's the tailgate on the smaller truck. Rocks can get stuck, or rip it off, when dumping.

He is scrapping about, trying to load the bucket and only ever getting it half-full. This is a short-stick machine, designed to work from the top of the cut, leaving a clean bottom.
This machine is not a face shovel. It should be on the top of the cut, not the bottom.
Plenty of experts on here sayin do this don't do that how many of you have actually operated an excavator nevertheless one this size ? The point is I have and still do no two operators are the same and yes it does depend on the material you're digging into and yes experience comes into play minings all about moving volume and if they thought that operator was hard on the equipment or too slow he'd be outta there in a flash 👊

@@geraldlrstubbs not everyone can afford a face shovel do you know how much a decent second hand one costs or how long it takes to build a new one ? Excavators are perfect for this kind of work because I do this for a living for 27 years
@@geraldlrstubbs by the way this mine is in Greece they're mining coal this is one of the bigger mines in Greece there's over 120 mines extracting copper , coal , silver , iron ore , the mine featured here operates three rh 400 electric shovels , two cat 6040 diesel shovels and two terex electric shovels and over 70 excavators of various makes & sizes wheel loaders are also another alternative to excavators and shovels , truth is shovels cost more to build transport and assemble at site plus more to run than excavators & wheel loaders it's all about how much they can afford to fork out and excavators are quicker and easier to run a business like this can't wait until they have a shovel at every rock face because they would be out of business if they did like I said speed & volume uncover the coal seam quickly as possible that what makes money
