Science tells us that enjoyment is more instinctual in animals, it is enjoyable to do that; but why? most likely a evolutionary reason, like; she enjoys it because it is also good for her.

Maybe cleaning and enjoy it, my dog do the same. And she clean and enjoy, all in one. But yes, she (the polar ) is really enjoy in the sun and ice :)

@@rand0m0mg Not really. Humans enjoy doing things just mainly for the sake of doing it. That is a major definition of sentience. For example going on a roller coaster. Sometimes these things can even be harmful such as eating unhealthy food. I highly doubt it is any different with animals.
Attenborough could narrate a shadow for an hour and it would still be EPIC....

I know that polar bears are one of the most deadly animals in the world, but I just can't get over how adorable they look every time they blink with their cute and tiny little eyes.
They're actually not that dangerous at all to humans. The friendliest of the bear species

Shermarki James Before that she was whaling up while sealing her fat under her thick coat.
Shermarki James She was hibernating. Winters are way too harsh in the arctic and it's not worth their while to hunt for food during that time. That's when they burrow-up, minimise any body activity, reduce the body's metabolic rate so as to allow their body fat to pile-up and cover for their energy needs.
Shermarki James because she already ate for 5 months, in advance, to sustain those 5 months
And every single meal was at least 100,000 calories of flubber.
They eat allotvin the fall and hybrenate in the winter

Every action has it equal and opposite reaction we humans will get a lesson when we can't undo our steps we had taken today the future generation will suffer because of us. we have to take some serious steps to stop ruining our planet earth. The main problem with us is that we don't know we all are same we all have a mouth and ears but some people don't realize it and they make us what is called Americans, Indians and Pakistani's

The humans will never stop. Humans will never realize the importance of other living creatures becoz we think we are superior to them. Until we lost everything thats the time we will regret when its too late already. So tell the humans to keeo destroying the natural resources.
This isn’t a planet we are more special than this.
The sun dies in 5 billion years and it starts to expand and it Will destroy our entire planet. All stars die At some point. And some day, Our universe Will be empty and nothing Will ever happen forever. All life dies some day. We dont know if there Is life in other planets or other universes.

I Do Monologues life passes. even without humans these bears would eventually die out in nature as so many species before us. don't be possessive of the moment. enjoy these animals and let them pass. instead of looking at the animals dying because of climate change, look at the new opportunities being created and of the new, accept the good with the bad

Abraham There is a lot we can't stop, but this indifference on our part will be disastrous. If you liked this video, you probably also treasure the amazing biodiversity on Earth, the 'new opportunities' being created will be at a huge cost and irreversible damage will happen. Nature is not prepared for your new opportunities.
AlexxAmadeo I don't understand what you mean by 'should'. humans will die out someday, if not when our sun dies then when all other energy in the universe reaches that still state. someday humans simply will die. I don't see what you mean when you say we should die. we will, regardless of whether we think it should or shouldn't happen, it'll happen nonetheless. now I'm not going to tell you what to do, as you are free to do whatever you wish. but i am going to enjoy existing as it is, without worry for the future. so what if we will die out. so what if the animals die out. our children won't miss them since they won't even know they existed. same as we don't miss the native European lions that were hunted to extinction by our ancestors thousands of years ago. enjoy the present as it is and enjoy the future as it will be, when it becomes the now you will enjoy that now the same as the current now. worrying about the future (the animals will die out) or regretting the past (the animals have died out) only keeps you from the now (the animals are alive)
Shivam Shukla we are nature. humans aren't supernatural. but ultimately even if we are destroying the environment with absolutely no benefits, I don't care. I am enjoying the present, and in the same way I now don't miss the past, in the future I won't miss the now. because it will become the past and I'll not care for it anymore.

There are more polar bears now than ever.
Those animals will die either way. All living things die and all species eventually become extinct. But I guess you plead for the cute bears to not go extinct long before ourselves so that we can admire them? Fair 'nuff.

The mother looked so happy and relaxed when she first got out of the hole and slid away. The cubs were so cute the way they followed her everywhere. I sure hope she found food soon. Of course I doubt if the seal she eats wants her to.

Адель Инкогнито В собчтвенном Храме живу из 300 летнего Горно Алтайского кедра и у меня уже третий Коржик,экология просто суппер,ЖКХ нет,налогов нет,вода чистейщая и ОДНОРАЗОВАЯ не как в городах после очистных с хлором и 7% содержания мочи,воздух чистейший,а в городе с выхлопными газами,а продукты все финские не как в городах из гавноПятёрочек.Вот оно счастье,когда живёль в гармонии с природойюа не херачишь половино своей жизн на ЖКХ и налоги.Вот почему люди хотят быть добровольными рабами и такими дебилами?

I tried to sleep early tonight. Slept for like two hours and then woke up and couldn't sleep again. I tuned in on KZhead in my phone and now I am watching this incredibly beautiful video. I feel delighted, and a bit sleepy again. So I will just go back to sleep like that polar bear did for 5 months.

So pure. I cant describe the comforting heavenly feeling that i get from watching this video. It somehow makes me inspired. Among other elavated feelings. It is bittersweet that the world is dieing out and no one cares. Not even I can do much because i need to consume electricity and food to live. I recycle and stuff but that can only help barely a little. Bittersweet.

@@blucat4 there is no need to get defensive why would it be preaching when in reality the onus is indeed on every single human being to save this planet and its beautiful animals ( including us morons) what we have done to the environment is unprecedented in the last 100 years alone the amount of habitat loss and animals killed amounts to more than 50% imagine the earth has been around for how long and thanks to our greed and ignorance so much is lost and still ongoing :(

The Earth has been through 5 mass extinctions before. We did not cause those. 99% of the species that have ever lived on this planet are gone. 90% of the sea creatures that were alive 65 million years ago died then. There's an interesting thing that no-one understands. 19 million years ago, 90% of the sharks that were here died out. No-one has any clue why, yet. It's a complete and utter mystery. Don't be so sad. Regardless of whether or not it is clear to you, things are working out the way they were intended. What is happening now is not our fault. To think that is arrogance.
