Perk doesnt see that tatum had 3, 4 defenders on him but wants him to go off. But if he did he would turn around and say tatum has to use his teammates if they want to win it all. 😂

Watching that game it felt like Tatum didn't need to be the guy so he didn't force it. Brown and D-white were both cooking starting early in the game and Tatum was still getting heavily guarded so might as well let them keep cooking.
@YouCanCallMeReTro exactly my point. Him being heavily guarded was why he didn't have the points he normally does but look at the rest of his stat line lol. It's like these people on espn only watch the highlights or something. There was no reason for him to jack-up shots when brown and white were cooking. The cav coach even said their plan was to take tatum away obviously that backfired so let's see how they guard tomorrow lol

@blablablaa14 and these guys can do that for a couple series but for a whole playoff run these guys start getting fatigued... which is what happened a couple years ago to the Celtics

Brown has leveled up these playoffs. Hes making superstart level shots on defenders and bullying. He's also defending the other teams best player even bam last series. I blame the media and casuals for just painting the celtics as a tatum only team. Brown is legit part of the the dynamic. Tatum has matured and made smarter decisions these playoffs. He's impacting the game in other areas. Jist like if brown is missing shots he still had his great defense. The celtics are back on their bully stuff on defense. I know the cavs and heat suck but it helped them by reminding them how they should play.

In regards to perk saying JB is the #1 option and better than Tatum. He needs to watch the game every time Tatum touches the ball he has 5 defenders looking at him and he creates shots for others (like JB) off of that

Please Park. JT was double & triple teamed for 6 games straight & isn’t forcing shots but instead making the best play for his TEAM. Peek needs to talk with his OG Pp who broke it down yesterday and sees the maturity. JT doesn’t need to score 40 bc he has 4 other players who are capable of dropping 20/25 with ease especially if 70% of the other team is focused on JT. Jb is carrying the load, he’s also not being doubled & tripled every possession. Be better Perk

Beside the dunk contest JB pretty much did everything right this season
Miami without Butler, Bucks without Giannis, and a very hobbled Embiid. And a Knicks team without multiple key contributors including a multiple time all star (Randle). The Celtics have the easiest path to the NBA finals in decades.

Always is a bit much like there's been series yes but Tatum has led the team in scoring the last 3-4 playoffs. Has he played better so far this playoffs yes, but it's not like Brown has consistently out performed. If Brown has consistently outperformed Tatum in the playoffs every year Tatum wouldn't have 300 more career playoff points, 45 more blocks, equal amount of steals, 200 more assists, and 150 more rebounds in 11 fewer playoff games.

JT is still rebounding and playing good defense. He will start to play better on offense i believe. And if he does,watch out NBA.

The hate of the Boston Celtics blinds even the biggest of casuals. With Denver being down 0-2, the Wolves are not gonna let up and let the Nuggets come back and win the series. If the Celtics go to the Finals, they will meet either OKC or Minny. There is no way Boston is going to lose 4 out of 7 games against either of them, when they’re 1st in offense and 2nd on defense. Barring a huge injury, this is their year, watch.

It was no surprise with how weak the East is.
The biggest thing Boston must overcome the rest of the way is playing down to their competition. There have been far too many times over the last several years where this has been the case. If it isn't, and things are indeed different this year, they should destroy everyone in their path even if Tatum is still the most inconsistent superstar in the league. Seriously, when you have a roster that's compared to the 1986 Celtics in talent, you better win it all! And even as a fan of a rival, I must say this. They better win it all! If not, they like their TD Garden brothers in the Bruins will be the ultimate meme of memes. And I mean it too.
