Three OLED TVs (same size)wrapped around the field of view of the car. OR just use a VR headset.
that was fucking dumb
anyone notice that this sim racer is an anti fat friendly? anything over 220lb might not fit. XD
PLS, MI PUOI DIRE DOVE L'HAI COMPRATA?!
Man this video would be awesome if you recorded with like those rayban glasses with the camera on it so we could see what it looks like from your view
What they need to add is some sort of fan that blows in relation to the speed the car is moving. Even if you end up putting a helmet on, you'd still feel it and it would help with the sensation I think. Shouldn't even cost that much to add.
100%, that would definitely add to the immersion factor!
Simlab has this, can be done extremely cheap with an arduino
@@WhiteG60 agreed. I use even a basic non-speed control fan when I'm iRacing in VR... It's a must imho
I know for sure that there are some programmable fans in the market although I think they're just ventilation fans that don't make winds beyond 100km/h. You'd need something big and powerful to truly experience F1. (Minus the G-forces). I mean, if you're buying a sim for over 100k then budget won't be an issue for you to get your hands on it.
It is an option if the customer requests this feature ;)
He really did buy a full size F1 car! This guy is taking it to the next level
Lmao I wish!
@@TheCarDoc1 No for real can you actually, drive it?
It's just trash. 3 screens in front of you, no left or right look like in real life. This setup is just cool looking, screen setup is horrible and the car is heavy so the motion isn't working as good as in a lighter rig. Just waste of money.
@@janthey jelous
@@janthey yea jit is just jealous
A VR head set with this, would be more immersive than 3 screens.
Agreed in someways, although it removes the spectacle of an unnecessary full sized F1 car 😅
Might as well sit at home then with a VR headset
@@MaxskiSynths Home is where most people play racing games.
@@fastmclaren71 Yeah I didn't quite word it correctly. What I mean is, might aswell not even have most of this setup if you're just going to use a VR headset. Being in a tight space and having the engine noise behind your head would be cool though.
i think the whole deal with this is seeing youtself in fullsize car, a VR doenst make sense bro
Only takes 2 seconds to see that this has failed on possibly the most important thing in a sim. Field of view
For real, I like my triple setup at home better that only uses 27 inch monitors. Cause when I'm in it, the screens dominate my peripheral vision
A VR version of this should be epic!
In one hand it would be cool, but you wouldn't be able to see the physical car anymore.
Makes sense.
What about 360° curved monitor setup? 🤔 @@dogzer
@@petrklicz6939 i think thats too much for a setup, it will stretching all the way
This would really make Dave n Busters some serious money... I would love to see a chain of racing SIM places to go that had setups like this. Kinda like SIM golf..
nobody that eats there can fit in it. not even the kids.

The whole system needs to be on a moving platform that tilts 45° in all directions to simulate the braking, acceleration and side loads on the driver. That combined with a weighted helmet, would give an awesomely realistic sim experience!
you ever driven a car that tilts 45 degrees ?
@@u982245 No, but tilting a sim at 45° gives 1.414 G side loading which can simulate the 4 Gs an F1 driver feels when cornering!
how can 1.4 g simulate 4g ? its 1.4 g and the force you would feel is 1.4 not 4 , it would only simulate a 1.4 g corner @@ColinHolloway70
@@u982245 The screens would tilt with it, you'd just end up feeling the forces without any confusion. Of course, it would need some blacked out background so your immersion isn't ruined.
and maybe a way to hold you back when accellerating at high G forces that these can get and make the braking extremely difficult like a real F1 car
I'd get the same effect parking my fiesta behind a triple screen and getting my missus to rock it about a bit.
I think just one of those tires costs more than my entire set up 😂 Awesome stuff
My question is wHaT hApPeNs WhEn YoU cRaSh?!
That’s what I’m saying
He crashed but nothing happend
The ceiling falls down on you
Just Lots Of Vibeation
I'm glad real F1 cars don't have that much body roll! That's the only thing that looks really off to me. I'm sure it's for the feel of the car, but just looks weird.
It does also simulate G-Forces as you guessed :)
A few years ago I had the chance to sit in the training Sim from the f1 honda. I don't watch formula, but experience was incredible.
Just sort of stumbled upon this video. Very nice and well put together. Subscribed. :)
Thanks mate :)
just ordered 6 of these so I can play with some friends thank you
Would be awesome if it had some system to turn the front wheels when you're turning the wheel too. That little extra bit of extra immersion. Maybe make them turn a little too, just so they're not stationary when at speed.
Would be difficult because the wheel isn’t actually attached to the wheels, it is attached to the wheelbase
@@Quostado Nah, just needs a little motor connected to some simplified uni-tie rod controlling the wheel movement by going side to side (forward and reverse on the motor). Controlled by some simple controller, that just transfers the steering wheel inputs from pc into the movement of the motor. Lil simple programming. A bit like steer by wire system I guess? Or an RC car steering.
I think a better way to feel more immersed is to get a vr headset like a pimax crystal or varjo headsets but what you have there is insane!
This customer also has a Varjo Aero - you can see the sensors above the 2 outer screens ;)
The problem with VR, is you don't see the rest of the car, or your hands, or the wheel... etc. I love VR, and use it a lot, but not as much for sim racing as I thought I would.
@@TheRealMafoo my guess is with the release of the Quest 3, theyve started working on really good augmented/mixed reality, so my guess is in the near future vr will make sense because you can have mixed reality.
meta quest 3 @@TheRealMafoo
That is called Passion. I would do the same if I had the money.
And w/o the stress on ur neck from the g force haha epic 😆
This is just insane. But this would be my go to to relax. 🤘
You and me both!!
Wow, dats awesome, congratulationd 😊
Been waiting for your review of this
The best set up bro!
Alright, can we get this straight. This isn't a HOME Racing Sim but it is clearly and easily one of the best.
nice video bro!!
Thank you!
lol you sure can feel all the turns in that sim... those g forces must be staggering
You can never take toys too far. The difference between a boys toys and a mans toys is the price, and price alone!
VR will make it the ultimate simulator really, motion + vr + sound, wow man
VR would kill the purpose of the dummy F1 car
3:07 for a second i thought the camera man was max verstappen 😂
same
The only thing that this needs (except for that wind thing that WhiteG60 commented about) is a more comfortable seat, it looks a little plastic. But maybe I shouldn’t say anything since I haven’t tried it😂
we could take a V12 engine and put it in the car to increase realism, and replace the screen with an actual track, that would be perfect
First time watching your content and thought it was a 1M+ subs size channel because of the production value🤭
this setup would be the best if it had a vr. if it had a vr you could wear it while driving so you feel like you really are in a f1 and the games you can look around.
there used to be an f1 sim fairly close to me that I went a handful of times it 10 cars all lined together and screen like that it was called lets race. the thing I went on used to move around also.
If he found a a way to put monitors on the cockpit that would like mold to the cockpit so you couldn’t see the outside world yet you can still see the inside of the car and some fans so it feels a little bit windy depending on speed feel like it would be a hard task but worth the fun
You also need to place a powerful fan in front of your face to simulate wind
The thing with these motion rigs is that it seems as though it might be weird that the car is rolling left when the car turns right, like it has bad suspension. Makes sense for a bike sim though but developers don't understand, or it's impossible to implement counter steering. 🤷♂
As an idea to go one step forward: you can build a helmet and a seat with a belt sistem (for the body better something like a blanket around you from the waist to the lower chest than a belt) that pulls you towards the F1 headrest and seat according to acceleration to create a luck of simulation of the Gforces in your body.
I used to put my shifter kart in front of the TV and drive the entire race
Vesaro do actually make belts like that, they pull when you brake so you feel like you’re being pushed forward
this would be the sickest streaming set up ever
That one guy: "nah my racing setup isnt THAT expensive"
Besides a fan right in front of you, they should've also added another moving plane underneath the car. Its DOF is only limited to simulate the incline and angle of the plane the car is on. If we're spending that much on a sim just for immersion, i don't see why i wouldn't want to be adding something like that.
Reminds me of my friends' race car bed frame from childhood.
this is an art piece
If the wheels rolled that would be an experience. I plan to have this experience one day.
Now this is an insane setup
Driving without G forces is like you weating a beef burger without the beef. Whether you are seating on your chair or inside the fibreglass rig, you can't notice much of a difference.
now imagine this but nascar, in the air, and able to turn to give the TRUE best feeling, like console attached where the windshield would be, imagine how cool it would be if you were in a nascar game and start flipping, you would FEEL your body flipping with the car, imagine how cool and terrifying that would be, and i think if someone with like 50 million dollars/pounds tries this, i think it's not that far fetched!
That lools absolutely amazing ❤
Didn’t realize you didnt have like 600k subs until I looked at your channel you’ll get great job man
Thanks so much dude, much appreciated! 😁
Dream setup right there for sure
Me and my dad we have a simulator but it’s only the front nose and the seat, and me and my dad agreed we’re gonna make another one but bigger and with the nose, wing and cockpit, along with some tires aswell, but not Pirelli tyres and I get the first one we’re using now, but it won’t have vibrations and that but yeah I hope it will be cool
Since it's inception, I've always thought that the halo design would make F1 drivers crosseyed. Like the Opti-Grab did to people in the Steve Martin movie "The Jerk."
I'd be racing for 5 minutes before I just start scrolling KZhead in my SIM car...on my phone.
Man this thing is more expensive then a actual car and that's crazy ,i wont say it's bad at all it's actually very cool
Changing the tires would be a PITA if you had to do it in your livingroom.
add wind blowing fan in the front too. automate the fan according to car speed (speedometer of car= fan speed )
2:36 imagine racing in this and you look away form the tv and the tires arent spinning then you crash cuz you werent looking the you realise that you actually racing
as cool as that is, i think i would take a chair strapped to the motion sim, a cheaper wheel, pedals, and a vr headset.... Personally. The thing that strikes me is the three monitors are VERY far from the cockpit. The whole time i was wondering what the monitors looked like from inside the cockpit, and i am sure its a bit better when you are actually seated there, but from what i could see it looked like the monitors just had a ton of white space surrounding them. If your going for immersion, you really do not need the car around you with a good vr head set.
Next step is putting this inside Nasa's gforce simulator...
Bet this would be better with VR over triples. Love motion part.. bet that could motion part could be done a lot cheaper without car which isn't needed in VR either.
Wow 2.1 surround! Can't wait for 0.0 surround! :p
Should have hydraulically actuated level adjustments under each wheel connected to the suspension giving it elevation that would give you the real feel of a track
For $100K it better come with it's own Pitt Crew and 5 year warranty with full service.
Good to know that Will.i.am love racing too.
put some hidden rollers under the wheels. then add motors to the wheels and make em spin accordingly
Pretty cool, but a High end Pimax crystal VR setup would replace those outdated 3 screen up and be much more immersive. VR racing is much better than flat gaming screens. You can't see depth nearly as good on flat screens. VR rules! Falt gaming is gonna be in the past
Yep. When I did my first laps in Gran Turismo Sport VR I was amazed. The resolution wasn't that good but it really doesn't matter. I always told people that it feels completely different and you get a much better feeling for distances, the width of the track and the depth in general. Since then racing games just aren't fun anymore if they are not VR. I needed some time to adapt to the movement and not feeling sick and getting a headache after a few corners and I still can't reverse without my head feeling like it will explode, but as long as I'm going forward I can do this all day long now. 😂
That’s pretty cool!
So I presume you're getting two of those bad bois? One for actual racing & one as a backup? lol
One for racing and one for sleeping in bro 😂
Yoda concedes to the dark side, steals Potter's glasses and discovers F1, simulation.
LMAO
fov is all wrong, monitors should be inbetween front wheels and halo, with front wheels appearing on screen connecting you to the virtual road, whilst being fully immersed with the wrap around screen, not being able to distinguish you are in a garage, nice thought though
Would rather build a track day car which will cost around 20-50k and use the rest for maintenance costs and track fees
True, but you have to remember people who have bought these also have proper racing cars as well as this + more 😅
gravity playing a key role to win the race...
Looks impressive, but personally I’d rather have a hydraulic multi axis cockpit rig that gives the best g-force simulation possible.
look at the kinemaniacs portal and you will change your mind
Should include with VR helmet...that will be awesome
depending on the car of choice I can make a real racecar for around or less than $128,000, but this is a cool sim
2.1 surround system. I didn't even know that was a thing!
can this even be considered home racing simulator?? Great video!
what if they also do car types like: the lotus type 49 cosworth, the porsche 804, matra ms5, and more from the 1967's (i don't have intrest in modern cars. i do love vintage cars, those also have to be remembered, because those brought us where we are today.)
Thats a gatta have its definitely on my bucket list ❤
Would've been a better experience with VR Glasses for sure.
this with vr would be amazing
Be crazy wearing a vr in that thing
someone should buy this man a real f1 car at this point
Need a sim where you wreck, and roll it actually ROLLS. Now that would up the ANTIE quite ABIT!
Lottery money will definitely buy one of these when I hit it. Lol.
calls it a home set-up as it's sitting in a warehouse
One way to increase the immersion would be to go to a track and then remove the screens and mod the car so the wells will tune and bring you around the track, resulting in a more immersive sensation.
straight to the hospital !
wow, howd you think of that
bros got charles leclerc filming
I used to put my shifter kart in front of the TV and drive the entire race
the one thing that is missing is a gforce simulating system, i know some simutaler use a helmet with a string system that simulates cforces on your head
oh really? Can you link me to one of those? I'd be quite interested!
Some have pads inside the car that squeeze you one way or the other to "simulate" g-force. Can't remember what the rig is or who makes it. Think I saw it on Driver61 or Jimmy Broadbent's channel. @@TheCarDoc1
i just wish them monitor was closer to the wheel- ive found the closer- the better for immersion.
In some ways yes, but this actually wasn't bad at all, the exact POV from the drives seat was impressive!
Could always run a VR headset.
Now that is what i need
They should add motors to the front wheels so they turn as you turn the wheel. That would be pretty cool
At which point would it just be better to buy an f1 car xd
Its actually an option, this one just didnt have it on at the time lmao
3:24 i didn't know bro had leclerc driving skills
With 100k dollars I would buy an old car, I tune it the minimum to be able to put it on a track and I still have money left over to go to the nearest track and drive around until the car burns out. 🤣
I've searched for "best beginner sim cockpit" ...
Lmao, woops
if they put monitors or tvs for windows instead of giant tvs far away it would be so much more cool.
Does he have also Airplane Simulation, would be nice to see Airbus A380 😂😂
Bro said really powerful 2.1 surround system and I got scared at the phrase 2.1, thought bro was gonna say engine
What if i wanted to switch to drifting or rally sim ? Does he have a diferent rig for every possible race type?😅
