    • Good for you Gel , I'm sure your Good-Geezer wouldn't of wanted 😉 you to have been "too sad (none of me beeswax o'course ) when it came to moments where you shared and felt the Good-times . I lost my misses 7yrs 10 months ago so I know similar feelings, it's always hurt abit when someone said they knew "Exactly" what Iwas going through so I don't want to use that phrase but... I definitely know thee at least melancholy feelings that tht you must feel when 'little moments like watching 👀 an old series like Delboy's ,Rodgers and Grandad (definitely the Grandad one's for us!) can stir you up quite a bit and sometimes friends see your Crying as just misery when half the time it's actually you remembering a damn good Laugh that you used to have that hardly Anyone knows, because they weren't there to see the laughter and the sheer (and sometimes Silly fun!) Joy that you gave to each others Lives... I can only Hope that 🙏 you remember those moments with happiness like I do because honestly without her? I can atleast say I wouldn't be half the person (& funny idiot!!!) That I get Told I am today... May your special person That Was.. R.I.P , and you find (as he would've wanted...I think) you to have happiness again..😊sincerely j.

    • Its writing was very much of its time. Early eighties till late 90s London. And its those times and moments that never fade expecally if you was living and working in London at the time. I was, In Brixton and Streatham hill bur worked in the city. The wine bar episode and scenes encapulates the early 90s for me. That is what it was exactly like. Bistros and wine bars everywhere. We even had days off when the first wines come across from France and spent all day in the nearest wine bar. Most lunch times in the pubs and Fridays all afternoon in the city. Great times.

Even later on, in episodes where Cassandra has a miscarriage, there's some beautiful moments there but they still get a laugh out of a sad situation when Del tells Rodney to not cry, be strong for his wife but then Del breaks down himself. • True story, my grandfather visited from Zimbabwe, didn't care much for UKTV besides Newsnight & other Beeb current affairs but Only Fools & Horses had him crying with laughter. Last year my nephews 4 & 10 were protesting about watching "this crusty show" with their Venezuelan grandma backing them up. All three were laughing their heads off rewinding bits and became hooked. 3 very generations, very different cultural backgrounds and same result. Only Mr Bean matched that but without any words. OF&H is a timeless classic.

    • Quite wrong. The word '$hit' was used in various episodes, they were edited for use on UK gold but still contained on BBC repeats and video/dvd releases. Not sure about the Netflix releases. Also contained a few 'ba$tard$ and a few other mildlly offensive words, also edited out of UK gold versions. Also cockney rhyming slang swearing featured a lot. Words such as Berk, as used in this video, is rhyming slang for the 'C' word. Berkshire Hunt = C**t Still, its the best TV show ever. E V E R !

    • @@sarahwatkins4520 yeah, thinking about it there are to many to name. The whole show was just brilliant, the writing, the acting. It's one show that I can watch over and know exactly what happens and I still laugh. The only thing I didn't like as much was the last three episodes after they won the money. For about 20 years Del had said " this time next year we'll be millionaire's " Then they finally became rich and that was the perfect time to end it. When they came back I thought it was a bit silly that they lost all that money and they were all far to old with grey hair etc. It was still funny but it had definitely lost something

The chemistry between Del, Rodney & Grandad was amazing. The humour is pure class. John Sullivan was a genius in writing Only Fools & Horses. The sweeper driver was married to Anna Karen from On The Buses.
