  • I truly wish season 2 dives more into Jordan's powers because we don't really get much explanation from them. Marie has evolved the most. Cate revealed WILDLY powerful abilities. Emma discovered shrinking without purging. Andre learned something about his powers' effects on his health. Sam is emphasized to be the strongest of them. Jordan got no development in their abilities. So I hope they get more emphasis next season.

    • Especially the sonic booms aspect since it's portrayed as the weaker side.. I get that the obvious choice is to just flip that dynamic but I'd prefer if we took time to just even it out

    • I think that Jordan should get more screen time yeah because their abilities are quite strange - it's like switching into a different body and they get different powers.

    • I think its also important to recognize that we met Jordan when their powers were alreadyd eveloped. they were #2. Brink looked over them. their powers were def nurtured. but seeing them evolve and get even more powerful would be dope!

    • Homelander is a different subject than other sups. So mindcontrolling or other stuff doesn’t work on him. He is the strongest

  • I thought the Jordan powers one was a given, that's why they can stand to Golden Boy or at least any other student in a physical fight, cause we know Jordan can't swap in Cate's mind, so psychic and sound based attacks seem to get the best of them, seemingly for now.

    • I get what you mean when you say his/her weakness may be psychic/sound attacks, but the "can't switch" aspect has nothing to do with that. Nobody could use their powers while in Cate's mind.

  • new theory what if jordan jumped in front of marie to block off homelanders laser but he couldnt get in front of it fast enough and marie is actually really hurt (but not dead) but vought is waiting for her to get better to user her powers maybe with cate's help like a puppet?? because they do make a POINT of saying damn u tanked that laser even tho maries was unprepared and her powers so far havent really developed as much as being able to block that off? also victoria (who has similar powers - but prob weaker than marie) seems like she couldnt possibly tank a laser like that. jordan could tho (his male form, which he was in when homelander lasered marie)

    • She pops, or, the more expected outcome, baby would involuntarily grow or shrink too, probably inherit her powers and evolve them.

    • @@nailinthefashion Was a thought of mine as well but I read that babies with the exception of Ryan do not inherit the powers, so it probably wouldn't grow or shrink. But then again, Andre has the same powers as his father....no clue.

    • @@vledermaus it's fiction so the rules are actually licherally meant to be broken. There could be a simple connection to their father's powers evolving theirs, so it wouldn't just be growing and shrinking but also reality warping as well. No one inherits powers unless they do 🤷🏾‍♂️

  • If Marie's powers are blood kinesis and being able to control blood no matter the person, would she be able to kill or at least incapacitate Homelander by manipulating his blood to pool in his brain and potentially cause swelling and eventual hemorrahge, or force the blood out of his brain and give him a stroke. Knowing that Homelander does bruise as of season 3 would implicate that he does need his blood and it works the same way a human's blood does, so assuming that his interior organs aren't as resistant to pressure as his exterior Marie should be able to do serious damage to him.
