  • It's crazy to see how fast things can go wrong like this. I used to drive over 100mph all the time and do all kinds of crazy sht, partially because I grew up watching these movies. I had a ton of speeding tickets, and got my camaro up to 160 a couple of times. After one of my friends died this way (and he had 3 girls with him, all 4 died) and the paul walker thing it made me realize how dangerous that sht really was. I was young so I felt invincible but man it can all end just like that. Especially at 100mph+ like you're fk'd if you hit something or lose control. Now I just drive the speed limit and hope none of these idiots don't run into me while looking at their phones lol...they always swerve into my lane and I'm always ready to dodge them.

    • @Morgana The CarreraGT was literally built to be a street legal RACEcar my guy.. every aspect of this car was built around performance, speed and handling.. i mean hell the aerodynamics alone were designed 100% for the specific pupose of stability and control..😂 if "safety stability systems" are needed for 100mph+ then why was this car built to hit 6/10 of that speed in under 4 seconds.. to give you time to brake b4 things start getting unstable? Nah my man it was built for 200+ and to be able to compete with the fastest cars in the world while also being street legal. Rodas was a professional.. and known to be more on the conservative side. Cmon now we all know "goin 100 in a 45" isnt what causes an accident lol especially in a car built to be raced.. on a road the driver is extremely familiar with, with little to no traffic at the time (residential my ass) on a road wider than some tracks.. around a corner that some would argue a Ford ranger could take at 90 no problem😂 its extremely unlikely a professional driver with the capability of driving 20+ hour long endurance style races successfully would get distracted enough by people, poles, buildings or.. whatever tf "solid objects" means? even if it were residential, to result in an accident like this considering the conditions. Clearly there were other factors at play here or some specific factor like not thinking to check the date on your performance tires after puchasing a sports car made years prior that has very little mileage that is known to be very dificult to control even with the best quality brand new tires.. its unfortunate this was overlooked of course but also unfortunate that the fact outdated tires alone (something many people overlook) can be deadly.. and then to portray these men in such a way to make people believe "speed" was the cause or in other words unsafe irresponsible driving as if they were 17yo boys after getting a first car and just acting stupid or some crap like that is complete bullshtt honestly.

  • This is why porches are called widow makers. They are rear engine cars with majority of the cars weight in the rear. Just as shown in the animation, this causes the back end of the car to kick out and over steer if too much brake is applied at high speed while turning. This handling characteristic is extremely dangerous if you are unaware of it and has taken many lives hence the "widowmaker" nickname

    @TR1_93@TR1_932 ай бұрын
    • The 911 is the only rear engined Porsche. The Carrera GT, the car Paul Walker died in, is a mid- engined car. The nickname “widowmaker” was applied to the first generation 911 Turbo.

So, when they tried to brake, they couldn’t stop in time because the tires did not have enough grip. And then the unexpected happened. The death of an awesome legend.

  • Isn't it weird that the car was going perfectly fine despite the insane speed but the moment it got near to that bar or tree, it just lost control. As if it was meant for them to crash exactly at that point. I don't know if I should say their death was a result of reckless driving or just was their last day on this world & God himself have decided that already before they were born.

  • Seatbelt off wouldn’t change anything as many claim here. They were going over 100 mph, the impact made the car a total wreck. Paul had many bones broken (just read the autopsy). He wouldn’t be able to get out no matter what. Most likely he lost consciousness upon the impact. Stop with these theories.

  • I truly don’t understand how a crash this simple caused so much damage. These cars must handle terribly and must be extremely fragile. I understand they were going extremely fast but damn. Seems like it split in half and exploded so easily. There had to have been some kind of bump in the road or possibly he swerved to avoid an obstacle.. we may never know

      @cr4zyftw@cr4zyftw Жыл бұрын
    • The Carerra Gt does most definitely to not handle terribly. They are an absolutely incredible car with insane capabilities. You should watch some crash test of cars going 100mph. Even the safest cars would burst into thousands of pieces when crashed at that speed. So of course in a car built to be light are going to be worse. But this crash is no fault of the Carrera Gt in any sort. This is a result of wreck less driving and can happen in any car going high speeds.

      @Sikeslikescars@Sikeslikescars Жыл бұрын
    • The crash was anything but simple. It was a high speed impact. The damage shows how fast it was going when it crashes not how poorly the car is built. It is one of the best performance cars on the face of the earth. Also this video is entirely incorrect. They took down a light post and then hit two trees while going 100mph….

    • @@Sikeslikescars I mean, the terrain was flat and fairly straight, no other vehicles were involved, no one was intoxicated, no foul play, and according to you the car itself was not at fault.. it was simply speeding that caused the collision. So yes, in comparison to other celebrity deaths/crashes, it was a pretty simple crash.
