Cross progression is good when its popular in mobile first..only then players will be interested to play in pc and use those progress. Right now its beneficial for pc players only..they have to create a name in mobile gaming first..just like codm did

Being a software developer, we have to keep so many things in mind while developing an app for mobile devices. With so many "different" devices out there, we have to keep everything optimized. I can assure you, optimizing something this big for a mobile is not at all easy. Like I have 0 idea how they have gone from 250gb to idk probably 10gb. Sure, am waiting for the game alright, but I also want to hop on the forums for the details about the code as well. Game development is different, but to what extent?
I don‘t think WZM will be 10gb if CODM is already 25gb WITHOUT the Battle Royale map

Reekoil goin to be a nightmare in WZM and MP is pretty bad in WZM (cuz the movement is so sluggish) so I'll stick with full on BR, so far I had the most amazing experience playing it

The graphics settings are still locked but these graphics are the highest graphics of any Android device currently, the game will look much better when we are allowed to adjust the graphics settings. My device is Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The game is still under development. Trust me, over the 1-2 years of it being in development, the graphics have improved a ton

3 mistake they're probably doing. 1. Using the same pc polygon in mobile. I think trees like pubg looks better because it has low poly but enough polygon to look good) but this looks like pc 720p ultra performance mode. 2. Add more shadows. The game looks like something missing. It's not the graphics. It's the shadows. 3. SD860 minimum. This means 30-40% less player than CODM.

Considering that we are comparing a whole PC or a modern generation console to a phone is crazy, it does not deserve the hate it is recieving right now
the hate is because it doesn't run for most people, doesn't have optimisation, servers don't work, and because they claimed to have the same graphics as the normal warzone. even on high and peak settings, the game looks mid
@@lerauxx4532 Most are on android, there are plenty of apps that are more optimized for iOS (snapchat and instagram for example, their pictures and videos are notoriously worse for android). And not everyone owns a top tier 2024 flagship, of course it will run worse. Honestly they should have been more strict with the compatability so there is less people that will complain. Again, why are people comparing a game that is run on likely high end PC or consoles to a phone? You do realize the majority's phones are much more efficient with their performance because they run on a battery instead of directly through the socket. Not to mention the processors yet to be as powerful as full sized GPUs and CPUs. People will complain their gadgets are overheating because it is working so hard to get the graphics you want, yet people will still complain that their AAA game on a tiny ass $400 phone isn't showing the same graphics as a $20K content creator PC. They worked so hard to try and make the game as compatible to the majority as possible, and this is the thanks they get.
If you're comparing the mobile version with the pc version then ofc mobile version will be worse than the pc but that doesn't mean that it would be completely unplayable, even in high end processors like dimensity 9000 or snapdragon 8 gen 1 the graphics is not so good. The apple version is still playable and smoother than the Android version but the graphics are not so good. Again, I am talking about processors which are very much capable of doing far better than their performance in CODWZM. Activision can still optimize their game so that it actually runs at atleast 120fps without any lag.

@@overlined_ You do realize that 120fps is not an easy feat for a game that has so many variables like Warzone. There's a reason why many 120+ fps games are casual. I don't want to sound like a fanboy, but balancing graphics and compatability to phones that aren't made to work their ass off for hours at a time is not an easy feat, especially when 99% of people aren't using the most up to date high end phones. There are also hundreds of different android models and brands with varying specs, while iOS only have several releases per year

It's because that specific map in Warzone Mobile also had that exact cutscene in Warzone 1. So if Warzone Mobile developers add the same maps from Warzone 2, the cutscenes will be the same.

Did you know that iPhone 13 is faster than a ps4, in that regards, mobiles today is faster then some consoles, but heating is a problem when it starts to actually play triple A titles. Imagine using dex on Samsung with a cooling chamber, basically a console pc.

The reason it's so hard to optimize WZM is not because of the company. It's the core engine, it's the damn IW 9.0 engine, the exact same engine used in Warzone 2.0 and MWII. I bet when they designed this engine they never thought they'll make it mobile compatible either.
