The actual cause of the assault is irrelevant. What is relevant, is that the assault was either spontaneous or premeditated. Evidence indicates it was premeditated, and this should have been very clear, very quickly. Clinton has been quoted privately remarking that she knew it was premeditated shortly after the incident. Publicly, she claimed it was spontaneous. Her response to this private comment is a glorified 'I was confused.' She also points to the multitude of other people who were also 'confused.' It's the famous, hey 'he did it too.' She was either lying, or incompetent. There's really not a lot to see here.
I see. So it's really important to distinguish whether spontaneous or premeditated? Is that why Trump lied, saying the 1/6 protesters were peaceful loving people kissing each other, etc.? So we wouldn't know that HE had premeditated and planned the whole thing? Trump wasn't lying or incompetent though. He was BOTH. Remember - Hillary did not cause the attack in Benghazi. She was just answering questions for the media immediately after it happened. There was initial speculation that it WAS due to a video, and there was another attack that same day, due to that video. And I don't recall her saying it was beyond the shadow of a doubt due to any one thing - case closed. I imagine she was getting conflicting accounts. But why was THAT so important anyway - especially at that stage? Wasn't the main concern trying to secure the surrounding area, allowing our intelligence sources to investigate, and dealing with the families?
