What a GREAT day at the Packery Channel Jetty! Ron, Jon, & I were all able to take home some nice fish for our families. Live shrimp was definitely the ticket this day🔥 Hope you guys enjoyed the video, I really enjoy fishing with those guys!

I always wonder why people don't use pinfish for bait more. I think they work better than mullet and they're a lot easier to catch.
Last time I was at packery the south jetty was closed. That's great news to see it open again. Great video!

So with the barge gone I suppose a majority of the rock that was on the barge is now structure on the surf side?
Correct rocks are still there so keep that in mind when casting where the barge was!

Is that general area of a jetty typically a decent spot to setup for taking reds or is it just because of that new structure that the fish are there?
Beginning of the surf is a good spot for all kinds of fish just depends on the day!
could you share your cart set up? I've tried something similar with the rod holders!
Not my cart! They are very useful at Packery tho you can find them at Academy or Roy’s Bait & Tackle here in CC
so that side of the jetties opened up again .

I don’t think it got any deeper just some of the rocks that fell off the barge created much more structure on surf side!
