Depends on which area you move too but hard to get rentals atm. What my son did was said he would pay 6 months up front and he got chosen out of a lot of applications. Good luck 🤞 ❤

I grew up in Australia it’s absolutely amazing it made me so confident and happy but it’s hot in winter and cold in summer it gets to 7 degrees cel when I was there but it’s beautiful good luck safe travels

Hello guys, I am a UK in Australia and there is a rental crisis here at the moment. Tons of Australians are living in cars unable to get a rental, there is 100's of applications for each rental. You need to be putting in about 10 applications a day to actually be getting a place. I wish you the best of luck. Thought i would provide some insights.

Harry your funny 😂 I live on the Gold Coast + this was the first winter I didn’t wear my puffer jacket I use to have it to visit my sister in Melbourne but didn’t use it at all this winter it was too hot 😅😅 Rosie, do you have family here. We are currently in a rental crisis it’s really hard to move here even in our own state. I suggest if you can stay with Family and until you find a place it’s more of a safe option ❤❤ The perfect house will come it’s just a bit harder at the moment.

I’ll be shocked if you do get a rental in Aus before you move here cause rentals aren’t easy anymore. There’s always so many people now wanting the rentals and people are struggling to get one. Wish yous the best though and fingers crossed it won’t be too hard for you both ☺️

The market is shit everywhere!! Your best bet is to look about 1-2 months at the most (early). Ask for a virtual tour or zoom tour … can always offer first and last months rent as deposit and to sign a longer lease if there is a lot of ppl interested. Blessings!!

Just book an airbnb for the first month you are in oz then be on the ground to get a long term rental... Its too competitive to be trying to organise one from overseas! Your dogs will be in quarantine for the first few weeks anyway
