Nah thats overkill for vanilla Conan... he already did nearly all the content. Give it 50 more days and he's done with this map. If he'd add AOC/EEWA mods tho.. even 500 days wouldn't anywhere near enough. Them mods would require him to play coop/online or heavy adjust the settings tho.

the most important discovery you made, in my opinion, is giving Lian a mace. He's one of maybe 2 fighter companions that possesses the best mace handling AI.

@@Omgthatsgino i'm not talking about which weapon thralls excel better at. I'm talking about how when all thralls are given a mace, Lian(and Tarman for that matter) have the most consistent performance, even if they don't do the most damage per hit.

I tried for a while, but the amount of griefing and foundation spamming ruined it for me. If the official servers had better (or any) moderation it would be a lot easier to deal with.

Bruh, I'm absolutely amazed to see you play Conan. It's that one survival game that fits a theme none other can really replicate, but I always have trouble getting back into it. Definitely need to redownload it now that I have a laptop that can handle it. Live, love, burn with life, slay, and survive!
Conan is such an underrated game. I played it back on launch and never touched it again until recently. The amount of content that they added in just the base version is insane. Even more so when you mod it. The mods that are created for the game give it a stunning feel.

Lol awesome video. I wish you could have figured out the tame system sooner you would have had a mount to get around and help you early game. And I'm still not finished with this vid but capturing a dancer thrall and having them dance at your base would have gotten rid of the corruption. At least that's how it used to be been a little while since I played but this makes me wanna redownload until Diablo 4 comes out. Hopefully you make a 200 days cause there is a ton of stuff in the game along with other maps (the isles of siptah is really fun). Thralls would have helped you with the cooking/ crafting early game. Again awesome vid and I'm now subbed to see more. Hopefully more Conan 😊

I really enjoyed your video, it's fun to watch new players experience the game for the first time, it's quite a lot to learn in the beginning. You did very well though, like taking on the Witch Queen solo and beating her was impressive. Early on it's easy to get steel fire, alchemical base, gold, silver etc. from the Khitan caravans around the map by turning in the sorcerers skulls that you kill. You can also buy weapons, tools and thralls from them with the ancient obolus they give you.
Loved it!! Ive been playing this for years and forget what it was like discovering everything for yhe first time. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you go through this game discovering and figuring it out. Yoy gained a subscription
This video convinced me to finally pick this game up. About 25 hours on so for and having a blast. Cheers mate keep up the good work!

I'm pretty impressed with how much you figured out on your own before getting some direction. You definitely picked up the combat faster than I did. That was pretty new to me at the time. It sucks losing your fighters after making one mistake after grinding all that time to level them up too. It does make it rewarding when it pays off thought. Great job.
It makes it less deadly for thralls when you figure out how to order them to run away a bit so you can take some hits for them while they heal :)
These are all certified bangers. I suggest doing another 100 days on a separate, perhaps even larger map! Now you know so much more and idk if u can do this in Conan, but perhaps drag a friend along for the ride! Edit: I have been watching these vids for about a week and god damn, this is fun to watch

@@isyzen To be fair, this game has a even broader horizon than the story line itself! Showcasing fancy builds, maximizing your DPS and better thralls to tame. Interactions with other players, etc etc. I use to play Conan back in the day, with 4,000 ~ hours. Heavy on PvP, it was cool to see someone trying to figure this game out. Big time nostalgia.

Ive always adored this game watching you play is making me want to come back to it
Conan is not the kind of game you can just play blind and dive in. I was already max level before I even found out how to make gruel. "That's definitely Brimstone, they're guarding it" killed me. And you first assessment was right. Lian is hands down the best, Relic Hunters just have a high chance to get strength and health, but you can manipulate that with the type of food you give them. Also Dalinsia and the volcano thralls are other good options. Just carry the basic wheel of pain in your inventory so you can just knock out and then tame anywhere
last time I played it like 8 months ago they had nerfed thralls like sh**t best was just to get some zombies, also we could get named thralls from the merchants they were quite good

Fun fact: being able to roll doesn’t immediately mean a game is like dark souls
I really liked the story of the fight in the cave where there is the statue of the ape god, wow.. a three-skull boss that and he fights well. He also has a lot of life and I advise against facing him at low levels, I think I having found myself well with the ax and the shield, despite being well armored he suffers my combined blows and bleeding but I also recommend avoiding his loaded blows. The nice thing is that at any time you can escape by diving into the pool next to you. I tried to shoot arrows at him but it took too long, he has too high a regeneration capacity, I had climbed a rock, fear was stronger than shame haha. A good battle, well described and now I'm going to watch the video.

For sure make a 200 days I really like Conan it look interesting and fun and you should make a list of things to do like make base better/ become op/ make an army of thralls/ or use magic to kill a dragon or a boss

It's a different game now... armor stats for what handles cold and hot is still broken and unfortunately cause of age of sorcery update the armor wiki page is out of date...

Ngl Conan Exiles is really cool! I’ve played a bit but it’s pretty boring to play alone. Edit: Hey Syzen you might not have realized but the Rhino you got is a Greater Rhino which is a SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful and also rarer version of the normal Rhino
I actually enjoyed playing alone on this one! Im sure most games are more fun with friends but while this was stressful at times its also pretty peaceful :)

came back to watch it again, as it is that good a video. pro tip for anyone wanting to play this game, but havent done so before. first time you build a base, build it on a higher ground, and ALWAYS near a water source for the first few in-game weeks until you can build a waterwell. once you CAN build a Waterwell, move the base location to somewhere easier to defend, mostly someplace with only one way in frontally with some hard-to-reach climbable areas. i always build my largest bases in the acid pools outside of the Red Deserts, not too far from the town where Conan can be found, as it is HIGHLY Defendable, and have a LARGE Area to build on, allowing for VERY large defensive Structures to be built. i am planning on making a build video on one of my favorite base designs in that area, but it will take time haha.

Another thing that map room that you found in the well in the unnamed city is the archives where you can learn special blueprints like the fast elevators and the spirit bind
People probably already told you this but it is easiest to harvest star metal by making explosive arrows no need to build foundations or to make jars and try to balancing them on the ground...just make the explosive arrowing in the carpenters bench once you unlock the knowledge for them. click n shoot... harvest. done. Great vod and yes you only barely scratched the surface! lol I hope you enjoyed Conan!
One of the frustrating things about this game is seeing an enemy use an awesome weapon... but there is most likely a chance you can't take it from them.
If you really want to take it from them then you want to KO them and put them through the Wheel of Pain, though pays to keep in mind there are a few Human enemies that you can't knock out.
Conan Exiles is the game for me where I wish I could forget absolutely everything from my 1k hours playing it so that I could experience it as a new thing again.. one of my favorite games ever..
Agreed, there aren't many games out there that is want to forget my experience but playing Conan for the first time is like looking down from the top of a mountain.

He already did , its a vid 4months ago i think... But Fromsoftware games has the typical Hours countdown mainly , not the MMO-RPG day system recount. He did a 100 hour long playthrough , which is nothing compared to most players honestly... Personally myself i have around 600+ hrs total played in ER overall.
Yeah, i tend to drop games after doing a playthrough. Especially elden ring. I wanted to leave a good memory of my playthrough in my head and not burn myself out. Props to you for being able to play that long!
@@isyzen Ohh yeah typically i'm exactly like what you said actually , but there are very few games that catch me off-guard and have insane enjoyment of... Mainly Fromsoft games and Teamninja mostly. I only Platinum those kinds of games too usually with 300-600 hours for total game-time played : 1- Elden Ring Platinumed already. 2- Sekiro Platinum. 3- Bloodborne Platinum. 4- Dark Souls 3 Platinum. 5- Demon's Souls Remake Platinum. 6- Nioh and Nioh 2 aswell. I'm also going for an attempt on Witcher 3 Platinum soon nowadays , tho that'll take awhile for sure... but yeah these kinds of games have decent open-builds and fun to grind and specialy doing the Challenges... But this list was surely through-out pre-pandemic is when i started to run Platinum Marathon... Specialy when lockdown quarantine was on us , i remember having decent fun enjoying those awsome challenges. 💯👍🏼 With ofc challenge runs and their enjoyments along within the span of 2 years , those were some goodtimes despite what happend from 2019 upto 2021 world-wide. 😅

I would like to welcome you to the beautiful world of Conan exile. It is a beautiful game that I have played for years and honestly watching you go through your baby slips on the game without any experience brings back so many Awesome memories. You should do this challenge again but this time not only do the main story, Yes there is a main story., To actually get yourself off of the exile lands, But also should go 200 Days, Keep up The great work man and enjoy the game!! :)
In the Frost Temple, there are cold areas where nothing you can do will make you warm enough not to take damage. That area being the entire CENTER, from down the stairs to the Entrance, to the end of the corridor where the paths diverge to the Left & Right side. So, you have to wear full insulating armour, eat/drink a spicy food/drink _(they drop from the frost giants)_ and hold a Torch. Then SPRINT straight to the end of the corridor, and down to the left or right path where it will be warm enough to not take damage.

The Skeleton mobs in the Unnamed City give great exp btw, that's the best farm to level your thralls.

im really late to this game and played 3,000 hours of Ark and was looking for a new game to play until Ark Ascend and Ark 2 to come out. I think this guy just convinced me to play this one.

Getting excited to play Conan again. I've been playing a lot of Ark in which of course the taming is much more in depth and grandiose than in Conan, and it has tons of awesome maps so I figured that I would be bored if I started playing Conan again, but I forgot what Conan has to offer. Building leaves more room for creativity in Conan, and the world has much more in it, which you'll also appreciate more because you don't have a flying mount to just zoom everywhere. Not to mention how engaging and in-depth the combat is for a survival game. Ark also has a bit too much modern technology in it for my tastes. I much prefer Conan's slow grind to impressive but still ancient structures and technologies, without ruining the immersion with laser guns and mech armor.
Best tools aint star metal its actually the blood tools because of the high durability you can by them in the new dungeon from the age of war update definitely look into it
I would love to see more of this. Another playthrough of 100 days with Draco. Taking on the Black Keep, the arena, the priest king. I Taking on the purge. Getting friends. I wanna see it all. I hope yall think about it in the future

I want to see what you do next in the next episode, like: - fight with some boss you didn't: rock slide - Explore Midnight Grove. - Explore the Sunken City. - Explore Warmaker's Sanctuary. - Try to summon one avatar. - On top of Fingerfang Rock, get the knowledge of "Mountaineer". - Last one: try a PURGE this is an interesting point for me this game has a purge system, it's like Blood Moon in a zombie game monsters and exiles will raid your base when purge is active, and this may didn't work when you soloed (or it did because I didn't play this game for a really long time), so you need to change some settings, mod, or host a server. I don't know, but if you miss this, it is a negative point. ---------------------------------------------------------- A long time ago, I found this game after doing everything in Ark Survival. I'm really interested in combat, survival, a big map, and the biggest reason, "thralls". This game before didn't have magic and sorcerers, but thralls were really strong in that day, and we didn't have any perks for thralls (only str, dex, vit, encum, and survival iikr). I remember the unique fighter named "Captain" on the left corner of the map (the village Conan standing) is the best thrall you can find except purge (sad thing Captain is removed now), and she can win any fight 1v1 with world boss (white tiger, big elephant, mother dragon, skeleton dragon, etc.) with epic equipment. This game has really much to explore, search for,... Like others, it brings you to medieval times: sword and bow, hands and claws, daggers and spears, hammer and axe, etc., really cool, and the last important thing "Thralls". I know you guys did this: capture a female dance with a big chest, then go to settings and turn the nudity "on," then... :D

Conan has the best player building system I've seen, hands down. You can do absolutely amazing looking buildings that blend in perfectly with the pre-designed game architecture. It also has a really unique vibe and extremely well developed and consistent world building. Unfortunately the game has a pretty shoddy publisher and developer. It does have flashes of brilliance and I really enjoyed playing it for a few months, but it could be so much better if the developers gave it the attention it deserves.

My SO and I loved playing the map you were on. We tried to play the island one but it could not hold up like the first map. I recently came back to the island one and love the rework.
