Same. Unless you’re shaped like a lamppost, a front tuck makes you look massive as it leaves a load of baggy cloth around your waist. If you’re hourglass shaped, you need to tuck all the way around!

At first everyone was wearing those high in front, long in back tops (ididn'tlike) which seemed to morph into this tuck thing. I had someone tell me that it made a outfit look more "polished". My gut didn't think so. I see people tucking in bulky sweaters all over the internet. @Lisa Cherry Beaumont you're right it's not for everyone. I think it's stupid. 🤪

Without watching these videos I figured out that tucking it in the middle only creates a waist for me. I’m slim but I’m straight aa a pencil when it comes to curves. That’s the reason I don’t tuck it in all around because it’s not always flattering for my shape. Depends on the top and pants I’m wearing too.

I am only 5 ft tall so literally every shirt goes down to my knees so the hair tie method has worked so well for me 🤣🤣 I’ve used it since elementary school…. You know because I didn’t get taller 😂😭 but guess who’s average height with 4 to 5 in shoes, it’s me and everyone cracks up about it even I crack up about it

What I do when tucking is put on the top first and make sure it’s flat against your body and not wrinkled, then with the zipper open pull the pants on over the shirt then zip it. This will work best with high waisted pants but is doable with mid rise as well. Then your top is flat and not bulgy without having stuff shoved into your bra or using valuable hair ties

I always thought to tuck it in is an act of not following rules how to orderly wear a garment. Those „rules“ turns it into opposite: if you don’t follow, you are doing it wrong (translated to lot people as you are wrong) - no thanks 😅 I will tuck it as aI like or not tuck it at all, as I give a f*** what people think. I actually often tuck the entirety of a giant sweater in my jeans. The secret is to shove everything down as far as possible so you can't see the sweater in the jeans. Just tuck it all in. Also,,, I hardly ever wear a bra with my sweater cuz I'm pretty flat already so there's no need to compress anything when I have a sweater.

Mate I just tuck the whole thing in and put a hoodie over the top. With jumpers I just tuck it in because who cares if one part looks unflattering, the rest of me looks great. And trust me, no need to elongate my legs, they are abnormally long. I fit into age 4 and above shirts but my trousers have to be the biggest they have, which means I have to wear a belt because otherwise none of my clothes fit

depends on what you're tucking into, play with structure and fun shoulder pads, puffs and ruffles to see if its just proportions that make them look bigger in comparison to narrower shoulders and also the height of the waistband, that can make such a big difference to how a body looks

Not everyone wears clothes directly on top of their bras. There are people who wear layers underneath so not everyone is gonna tuck their tshirt in their bra.
i have sensory issues at the waist when many materials hit it so i have to tuck in shirts all the way around my waist, so i literally couldn’t do any of these-
I always wear singlets under my clothes for this reason and I wear them inside out so no stitching or tags touch me at all

I always thought to tuck it in is an act of not following rules how to orderly wear a garment. Those „rules“ turns it into opposite: if you don’t follow, you are doing it wrong (translated to lot people as you are wrong) - no thanks 😅 I will tuck it as aI like or not tuck it at all, as I give a f*** what people think. Anyway I enjoy those styling videos as I learn a lot about craziness of society 😂

I wish a had this problem where I have to make the shirt shorter. For me I have to find a way to make my shirt not show my skin. Like pulling up my pants highly so it looks like the shirt actually fits 😢

I have a small chest so I often won't wear a bra either. But I've used a thin, non-bulky belt before. Works really well as long as the belt doesn't have too long of a tail

I actually often tuck the entirety of a giant sweater in my jeans. The secret is to shove everything down as far as possible so you can't see the sweater in the jeans. Just tuck it all in. Also,,, I hardly ever wear a bra with my sweater cuz I'm pretty flat already so there's no need to compress anything when I have a sweater.

Mate I just tuck the whole thing in and put a hoodie over the top. With jumpers I just tuck it in because who cares if one part looks unflattering, the rest of me looks great. And trust me, no need to elongate my legs, they are abnormally long. I fit into age 4 and above shirts but my trousers have to be the biggest they have, which means I have to wear a belt because otherwise none of my clothes fit

I have a question. I feel like to tuck shirt in isn't flattering for curvy girls. Seems to make hips looks larger. Am i wrong?
depends on what you're tucking into, play with structure and fun shoulder pads, puffs and ruffles to see if its just proportions that make them look bigger in comparison to narrower shoulders and also the height of the waistband, that can make such a big difference to how a body looks
