LAUNCHED LOG FLUME: Catapult Falls, Intamin Water Ride, SeaWorld San Antonio
A new take on the Log Flume, Catapult Falls uses a belt to launch riders over a hill. 4K On-Ride Front Row, Catapult Falls new water ride at SeaWorld San Antonio, TX, USA. This log flume uses some trench segments of the previous Arrow-built flume attraction, and adds a vertical lift and launch with two 'airtime' hills. The trims on the hills unfortunately are a big hit, and they do affect the ride experience. #catapultfalls #seaworld #sanantonio #texas #rollercoaster
The ride features a nice steep drop and themed music and setting, a great addition to the park!

Catapult Falls POV On Ride, SeaWorld. 4k Front Row.
Woah that themeing is insane, they did a great job with the $10 budget
Should be called Elevator Falls.
They have a “journey to Atlantis” flume ride there. That theming is just as amazing…
Me when I have that Planet Coaster mod that lets any ride have a launch track:
You can do something similar in RCT3 with Block Breaks. No joke!
I need that
@@Zeta_Beetle_at_Zenkai_Studios right rct 3 man i got launch speeds up to 200 on a strata coaster no joke dont get me started on wooden caoster with 1000 plus with a. cheat code
@@Zeta_Beetle_at_Zenkai_Studios Or with chain lifts.
@@TheLewistownTrainspotter8102 how? They don’t go that fast, do they?
ok but that drop actually intense wow
Explanation of the sign. San Antonio is in Bexar County. It is pronounced the same as the animal so it an inside joke for the locals.
Somewhere, somehow, someone is going to say “there’s no such animal as a bexar”…
This seaworld needs more love, they just got a sequel to infinity falls and a launch with trim brakes at the end, what the hell.
Launched log flume? Sounds like a maintenance nightmare.
It's intamin. Oc it is 😂
Don’t forget the elevator lift😭😭😭
It kinda reminds me of another launch coaster that was a Matinence nightmare
I mean the launch is just a conveyor system so it hopefully shouldn't be anything too difficult to maintain.
Theme park community be like something new let's be negative about it
I log flume that launches is just awesome!
Looks Absolutely Awesome
The entire area look bare with no trees like the animation shows with trees
You know that trees need time to grow, right? They don’t just spawn in overnight.
Yeah, that's a potential soaker. Nice capture!
This looks really cool!
I’ve been on this ride, it was really fun
Water rides are funny. You want to get wet but don’t really want to get wet. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow, didn't know Intamin made log flumes -thought they were an exclusive steel coaster house, or am I thinking of Bolliger&Mabillard? A launched log flume... That's... UNIQUE to say the least!
same
3:21 are those trim brakes? They are 💀
launched logflume😁nice.... Only negative point are the brakes after the launch😡
okay this is a good lookin ride!
I would be there someday 🥰🥰🥰 my dream destination ❤😊
I love this. If only better theming!
Nice one, but theming?
This needs way more theming for those slow sections
this looks like the future of log flume rides since they wouldn't need lift hills
I should try building this for my next project!
Yes try it
Looks quite boring, and not a big soaker. They managed to put TRIMS on a flume! Now these airtime hills look like they don’t do anything lol. At least there’s the launch and lift that are somewhat interesting. What is your favorite log flume ? Mine is currently Menhir Express at Parc Astérix, wich zips at a good speed through its layout, feels like a river rapids ride most of the time, and has two good drops that get you soaking wet. It does lack a bit of proper theming though.
Average thoosie when a ride operator “staples” them and doesn’t give them 10 inches of airtime
Chiapas!
Chiapas masterrace
I wanna go on a ride like this.
I operated rides at SFOG and Intamin is a maintenance nightmare especially Acrophobia. Another manufacturer is Skyline Attractions because Kid Flash was always having downtime or closed
Greenish Blue
Planet Coaster 2 better add this
That lift there looks a bit too narrow. Hopefully those boats are heavy enough to prevent guests from tipping it!
So many brakes…what ever happened to the good’ol days of letting the water slow down log flume cars? LoL
Bexar Crossing is for Bexar County, where San Antonio is located.
The elevator for the very underwhelming drop seems pointless, should’ve added the standard lift hill which would’ve made it more thrilling
At least the water is clean..😏
The theming is bad, but the ride looks fun.
Looks OK I guess. The launch and the drop I’m sure are thrilling but all that dead time with no theming really kills it.
Bexar County, TX.
This look boring
Why is there trims on a log flume ?????
The "Bexar Crossing" sign is because San Antonio is in Bexar county (pronounced like "bear").
🙏 thanks
Imagine a roll back on this thing?
There are drive tires so even if it crawls to the base of the climb without launch being activated it can go up as if it is a tiny lift hill, launch is optional
We are on a log flume, we are on a log flume, we are on a log flume, we are on a log flume....
is that rudy
If it was cold that day the soaking would be very unpleasant.
“Bexar Crossing” is a play on words bc Bexar (pronounced like “bear”) is the name of the county that San Antonio is in!
This ride is bound to be maintenance hell for sure
Would recommend watching in at least 1.75 speed 😅
Bexar is the county and is pronounced Bear. I live just scross the street from the park. Thought the county was pronounced bexar for so long until I went to a government building
Idk man, the ride looks heavily trimmed. Makes the launch much more underwhelming
2 year wait for a mid water ride that isn't even as good as texas splashdown was back in my childhood days.
So say a boat is on the elevator lift and it is on it's way to the top and a bunch of kids think it's funny to try to wobble it. I'm not seeing any guiderails or anything to prevent lateral movement on that section. Ever since the Shoot the Rapids incident I've been very suspicious of Intamin's water attractions.
the boat is on a dry space and balanced. so nothing should happen. Also play stupid games win stupid prices you cant idiot proof everything and ruin it for others
@@aswisshuman637 I'm thinking less of kids being stupid (although kids will be stupid, that's a given) and more of just things happening. Strong wind, or even an earthquake seems like a recipe for disaster.
OWL
That launch is so depressing
That's the problem with water rides 90% of the time nothing happens
lol seaworld has the weirdest rides
It's not that the launch isn't cool, I'm just scratching my head at why they would only propel you about 30 feet. Seems like a waste.
Bexar is the county you are in.
I guess it uses water to lunch the bouts
No
only intamin…
"Bexar crossing" is making fun of Bexar County. The county you are in
oh 😅😅
It’s also pronounced similar to “bear”, the ‘x’ is more of a soft ‘h’ sound
The launch is a bit of a gimmick… but it’s so poorly themed? Log flumes are usually really well themed, this is just barren!
This looks pretty lame to me and over-complicated for no reason.
no
When recording videos like this, you want to try to be as quiet as possible!
