    • @@Satirawongwan Except that's wrong. They all gathered up at one spot and spent three days together. Charles just happened to be the first one to push out his video. Mattias will be having a full video of trip, so no wonder if he'll take a while to get that edited and produced, unsure about Rob and Ichika. Wouldn't be surprised if they waited for Mattias to be done with his video and release on one go. Or maybe a staggered release schedule to hype the instrument more.

    • Nice pun but honestly not really- it would be super impractical to use as a regular instrument. You can hear it has intonation problems in this video, it would be like the problems 12 string guitars have but so much worse. Not to mention that bass guitars with an extended number of strings have been around forever and their hayday was about 50 years ago. To actually use this thing you would need a pedalboard with some pretty complex routing controls, a band that was willing to let you switch registers constantly, or alternatively make music yourself where you plan everything else around the one instrument. Not very practical, mostly just a cool novelty

    • @@TheLetterH111i dunno man... i feel like it could be an amazing stage gimmick, kinda like a modernised double necked guitar

    • @@pigslam no doubt it would be a cool gimmick

    • @@pigslam This thing genuinely brings new options to the table though, it seems surprisingly flexible/versatile for a gimmick. It feels not exactly like a marching drummer calling a drummer's set a gimmick, but something like that.

  • I think this classifies as one of the most amazing displays of skill I’ve ever seen. Dude is straight riffing a cylindrical spinning bass for god’s sake! EPIC!
